Never tell the truth. The honest truth is deadly.

For a woman the truth = forced to take responsibility for her actions.

By telling her you slept with someone else means she now has to accept the fact she is in a go nowhere relationship. She has to face the fact that she is making bad decisions. This is something girls will never do, hence the rationalization hamster.

In addition, avoid telling the truth to "men" as well. Most "men" also have the same bullshit about not being able to face the truth.

Simply put the truth = responsibility = death to game.

Yeah It was a lapse in judgment and game twice, hell maybe even three times.. First by answering the questioning, second by telling her I dropped all other girls for her, and third by texting her after she left.

A few weeks ago I had told her I hadn't slept with anyone since I started seeing her. She said she didn't care about other girls (which she obviously does) she was upset and broken hearted that I had lied to her (read: that I slept with other girls).

I jumped back on the horse after that and told her Im sick of the bullshit and we will discuss it person, ignoring the rest of her hostile texts. Shes going out drinking tonight with her friends and plans on coming back to my place after. Im sure she is gonna have some alcohol fueled courage and blow up at me a bit followed by makeup sex.

edit - WC, this girl has a boyfriend of many years. Poor bastard. The biggest thing I think her hamster is scared off is getting an STD which would ruin the relationship with the provider. Thats why I told her I dropped all other girls for her. She'll probably try to make me wear a condom or something. That or tell me I have to wear a condom with other girls or she is gone.

I've found the best way to recover is with what I would call nonsensical reactions. It's hard to describe but I notice they work extremely well on all girls, whether it's a girl at a bar or a gf. They also work extremely well when recovering from flubbing with a girl.

For instance, in a bar:

Girl: "How old are you?"
Me: "Old enough to run away from home. But whatever I'm going to get another bourbon, keep my seat warm."

It makes no sense. "Old enough to run away from home" makes no sense whatsoever. It's not logical. It's just filler, fluff, a bridge in conversation to push the evening forward, i.e. getting another drink.

So if you're trying to make plans with this girl, lets say she texts you:

Her: "I've got a birthday party to go to but I'm free around 10"
You: "K I just got out of the shower I'll hit u up later"

You're putting needless information out there and reacting in a way that doesn't follow the normal script, indicating that you're not REALLY paying that much attention to her. It's the conversational equivalent of being aloof. You catch the important details but you react in a way as if you hadn't. You also interject information about yourself and replying in a self-centered manner. Essentially, you're reinforcing that what she's telling you doesn't matter, SHE doesn't matter. You're doing your thing and she might get to be a part of it.

You might think, "Well, we're too far along for that kind of shit." Trust me, you're not. It's amazed me with my current girl and several girls in the past, how I could treat them as if I had just met them in a bar and the tried-and-true game still works. It always works.

She just came over after work to talk. It confirmed my thoughts that she was jealous but was primarily thinking about STDs. Claims she doesn't care if I see other girls, she just wants me to tell her about them (yeah, right) and that she was the only girl I could rawdog (yeah, right).

About twenty minutes of feigned anger, followed by 10 minutes of making out and swearing up and down she was still mad and we werent having sex, followed by her taking a quick trip to bathroom to "freshen up", and things were back to normal. I came all over her face, she looked up at me and smiled and said "Im all better now". It was like the story book ending to a players fable.

Shes still coming over in a few hours. We had a brainstorm session of how she was going to go about ditching her friends to come over to my place. Shes a devious little girl...kinda reminds what the female version of me would be like.

@TheDude - your spot on that your never past game 101. Thinking that I could throw game 101 to the curb was about the same as a boxer thinking he was beyond the need of footwork skills.

I've heard this one too, several times. Isn't it crazy how girls all say the same shit? If I didn't hate the word, I'd say it's kind of...'creepy'.

Incidentally, the last girl that said that I agreed, kept on banging other girls raw, and then gave the first girl the clap.

She was a little upset but wanted to keep seeing me afterwards. Just goes to show you that you can explain to a girl 1000x times the logic of why she shouldn't see a guy and she won't respond. I think this goes to show us all how girls want to be the "beta" in the situation.

Flip the script and you get needy, controlling, and all crap in between with beta males but women won't bite because of that darn preggers.

I know this is an old thread but the reason why this didn't work out good is because you WERE NOT truthful. You told her a half truth about how you had "only" been with one person besides her and you already knew her before. You were apologetic about living the life you as a man wanted to live and you tried to couch it to make it acceptable to her when in reality all you did was lower your value in her eyes as some horny dude who is now sorry he fucked up. You should of just told her "no you aren't the only one" and kept doing what you were doing, in a nonchalant manner, you never promised her anything so you did nothing wrong. Now she might have stormed out anyway but at least you gave her a different option of how to deal with men, that she couldn't just show up and have you all to herself, she was going to have to work and compete with other women to get more of you. And more likely than not if you held form she would have been around again
