Depends what level of girl you're going for.

Maybe Giovanny is going for the dimes of the world.

If he's going for the hottest girls, girls some beta guy might say are "out of his league", even with tight game he may need 50 approaches.

I mean, he is going for attractive 19, 20 year olds, as a man in his mid 30's.

I don't do as many approaches a week but I usually go for girls who are cute instead of hot.

So, yeah if you go for girls who you feel like are going to most receptive you won't have to do as many approaches, but maybe some guys don't want to settle for that group of girls.

I feel like Giovanny has made approaching his lifestyle. I like that - the fact he approaches everywhere, anytime, anyplace. No approach anxiety.

When you stick with 1 approach and you get results, are you getting chicks because of what you said and did, or DESPITE what you said and did?

All of this stresses on your brain. Your brain finds patterns, but there is no pattern here to find. And any pattern you find, can you really trust it?

But at some point, as most of the vets will attest, after a while you subconsciously internalize all of your successful behavior even if you can't verbalize them or articulate exactly what is happening.

When the fear of approach subsides, when the pain of rejection doesn't sting as much, when you realize that this chick is giving you a typical reaction.... you know you've got game.

It's all fits and starts, lulls and pandemonium. The whole thing never really smooths out.

That's how it's been for me at least. My game gets rusty, I don't feel up on everything...and then I just access those prior memories, and start to trust my own ability to connect.

You just gotta keep going out there and pushing yourself. In the metro interview, Roosh said he's been doing this actively for 12+ years.

Based on the girl's response, I can usually tell what I did wrong, to a degree, most times I just say -- "she didn't like me". I don't think about it any more than that.

Reason I ask is that for me its def the later. I can just look at a girl and know if it'll go well. Smile, demeanor, walk, talk, body positioning.

Don't get me wrong- I'll still talk to anybody I really want to, but if she doesn't fit that mold I discount it as a low-probability event and just go talk it up w/her. Even if it bombs, Ill have a good story about how I got "blown out". Mind tricks perhaps.

Most guys are straight up blind when it comes to social interactions.

For a lot of reasons, women are much more sensitive.

The first stage of learning game is learning how to read what is going on in any given social situation.

Some good tests:

Can you tell if a girl is married without seeing her rings?
How do you know if a girl is DTF just be looking at her?
Can you get all the info you need to know about a group without having to ask any questions?

My game is improving.

I don't really "choose" girls. I just approach girls who are sexy to me. I don't really consider if they are "my type" or if they will like me.

I used to approach only 8s and 9s. I had to approach lots and lots of them in order to get one.

I realized that I should lower my standards a little.

Now, I approach a lot of 7s. This adjustment has helped my results a lot.

But, I still hone my skills on 8s and 9s, and occasionally pull one.

Screening is a huge part of my game now. If I go out to cold approach,it's really unusual for me to have to do more than 5-6 approaches to get something substantial going. Pretty often it's on the first or second approach. Getting a SNL with the very first girl you approach is very doable-I've done it multiple times.

I realize there are personality and stylistic differences here, plus differences in the quality of girls that guys want to get, resulting in varied conversion rates. But still, the ability to screen with accuracy is a mark of a good player to me.

You should be able to walk into a venue and know with a few minutes of observation which girls are there for just a girls night out, which don't want to be approached, which are open to an approach and possibly gameable, which are there looking for dick. Your assessments will never be 100% correct but you can get very good at this. Knowing the right moment to approach and how to approach each girl is a refinement of this.

When I was a kid it was hard for me to understand that there'll always be a "numbers" aspect to the game regardless of how good you are. I had one guy with strong game say a close rate of anything beyond 10% is very good.

It wasn't until I hit the field that I realized that approach volume is a significant part of the game. It explained why so many guys with shit to sell and market misdirect you and refuse to answer when asked about batting averages

Late 30s. Gio, I am curious how much longer you can do university game. I know you take great care of yourself in the gym, diet, and sleep, I am guessing eventually you will do some variation of seeking arrangement game?

guys that are screening hard are not doing sober street game which gio is doing (read his approaches in his approach thread). doing night game in a bar vs sober day game on the street is apples to oranges.

from my experience doing street game, you arent getting shit unless you do huge volume. if street game is only a supplement for you, sure, approach a couple times a week when the stars align. but if its your bread and butter, you will be doing large numbers, theres no way around it

i could be wrong and theres an easy way to screen that i havent thought of. the extent of screening on the street: walking pace (slower the better), girls that are sitting, girls that are looking around, eye contact

My last tear though an airport including talking to 3 chicks, which led to 2 numbers and 1 bang.

Girl 1 was model looking but I assumed she was with the famous guy next to her. I was in hangover mode and didn't see the signs. She was leaned in and playing with my hair, and I thought was going to kiss me. All day 9. She would have been in my top 3 for sure.

In an airport, for example, I start getting warmed up before getting in the pussy zone. This includes stopping on the way and talking to chicks at the gas station, drive though, ect. Then I step it up a notch to the chicks working the airline counter. Now I'm ready to hit the terminals/flights and strike with Carlos Hathcock accuracy. Note that the above mentioned aren't approaches, but playful interactions. It helps get me in the mood, because in the airport time is a huge factor. I do the same before hitting a club, and warm up on bartenders in a smaller bar while I get primed.

Approaching just puts me in a good mood. It clears up any frustration or bullshit going on in my head. Its an aphrodisiac, its a depression killer, its a natural mood lifter. For this alone all men should do it, if they only knew. But I still suck at it too. I may go 50 approaches without even a next meet up, but approaching often makes me approachable and I just seem to be in more conversations with women since I started in June, regardless of who approached who. I didnt really start cold approaching often until I joined this board and read Roosh's books. It is a numbers game for me, but I cant predict a ratio. I had some quick success approaching on the streets of NYC, but I lean too much on Tinder now. I should delete Tinder and just focus on approaching. I think screening can be dangerous for some people because one can easily mistake complacency for "screening". But when done right it's totally valuable. I agree with everything said prior.
