Yes. One of my FB friends (more of an acquaintance) showed up. I clicked like. Didn't get a match. Either she didn't see my profile or she gave me an X. If it's the latter, wtf, throw me a bone. Same deal with a girl I used to work with.

Tinder makes me happy I do not have an I phone. For as toolish as OKC is, this sounds much worse.

Played with Tinder for the first time today. At least 90% of my matches were camwhores trying to get me to "private chat" with them. The app still shows me girls 3000 miles away even if I set it to within 20 miles. I can't edit my profile pics. In short, it pretty much sucks.

I think I like the dating sites better than tinder so far

I'm using it on Android. I have yet to get a single match.

the key to determining whether or not they are bots is to see if they have any interests or friends in common with you. basically everyone in dc has "365 things to do in DC" as a "like" on fb..or the 9:30 club..if they dont have that then they are bots

Funniest shit has happened to me FOUR times on Tinder in the last month.

Pretty much exactly the same scenario each time. Here is how it goes down:

Me: opener/ramble to girl #1
Girl #1: blah blah, here is my number xxx-xxx-xxxx

Me: opener/ramble to girl #2
Girl #2: blah blah, here is my number: xxx-xxx-xxx

Girl #1: OMG, you know that girl #2 you were just talking to on Tinder? She is my best friend!
Girl #2: hahah OMG, do you use that same line on all the girls on Tinder??

etc.

Literally 4 times this has happened. One time I banged Girl #2 before realizing she was roommates with Girl #1. Oops.

Another time this week, the girls thought it was HILARIOUS that I was using the same lines on both of them, and called me out on it. Two 20-year old party girls with bangin bodies. They were together and called me on speakerphone to figure me out. I passed their elementary shit tests without blinking. They invited me out later that night, but I flaked last minute, since right now I am focusing my efforts 100% on getting girls to come directly over, which they declined.

I told them I don’t mess around on double dates and that I was suspicious of them. We argued back and forth for awhile via text, and I said I’m not dumb enough to get played by their antics, accusing them of being fakes and trolls, etc. Told them it was unfeminine to argue with a man. Shit like that. I don’t really know why I went this route, but it was effective at getting a rise out of them and getting some emotions moving around. They are intrigued by me now, to say the least.

I re-engaged them two days later and they were still super responsive. They invited me out again for Friday night, and I agreed, since there is no way I’ll get these girls to come over now - the cat is out of the bag. So I’m going to show up to whatever club they’re at tonight, and see what happens.

The interesting thing with this happy accident of texting 2 best friends the same shit, is that I now have more status with both of them. Since they both independently liked me on Tinder, it’s introduced a really interesting dynamic. We all know that young girls bang guys their friends approve of, so I’m looking forward to meeting them both and seeing what I can get out of the interaction.

Well, that shit crashed and burned. Girl #2 didn't show because she got called in for a work emergency. Girl #1 was there with her crew of 4 girl friends. I figured fuck, now I need to get rid of these other 4 girls to get at my target.

Girl #1 wasn't hooking at all. She wouldn't dance with me, wouldn't get a drink with me, so I knew it wasn't going to take off. I chilled with one of her friends for a bit, a cute blonde Ukrainian girl (she was "sooo impressed" I was able to guess she was Ukrainian on my 2nd try) but I just couldn't motivate myself to push the interaction further with her.

Overall I'm less upset about not getting the bang, and more upset at myself for running bad night game, and going against my own direct-to-house mission that I embarked on two months ago. I should have chilled with this Latina tinder girl instead who has been showing strong interest. Lessons learned the hard way.

Mid-size city. I have simple theory to explain this: girls download the App at the same time as their roommate, because they are too scared to try it alone.

London UK seems to be an absolute gold mine for Tinder right now.. i have been on there a few weeks, am very picky with my likes (i don't see the point in spamming and then filtering afterwards?) and have had 90 matches and counting. 10 ongoing conversations on the app, 8 phone numbers (now chatting via whatsapp), 3 dates and a bang and some more girls asking for dates next week. This will sound douchey but i almost can't cope.. i never did learn to juggle with more than 3 balls..

Interesting that lots of girls that swipe yes, then don't engage afterwards. Maybe it's a game to them just playing a sort of hot or not, or maybe they then do some research and look at more pics and change their mind, or maybe bitches be crazy... who knows.. but nonetheless the numbers to effort ratio in my experience is currently amazing.

Whenever i can i do a bit of facebook sleuthing... as i used to go out to all the London hotspots a lot (no longer) i'm friends with a lot of social people on facebook, which means most matches i get i then have at least one mutual friend on facebook and can often use that connection to search for the match on there and see if there are any more public pics etc.. i've filtered out about 10% of the matches from seeing that they've used overly flattering photos on Tinder.

I also love the fact (that some hate) that facebook friends and friends of friends come up quite a lot.. i've got 4 matches from hot facebook friends (girls i have met a few times over the past few years but don't see often) that i'm now working on.

I'm on OKC, POF and have poor daygame (just don't approach enough - lazy) but ok nightgame and nothing gets me results that Tinder appears to be (unless it's a flukey purple patch!).
My text game is getting good and i'm a decent looking guy with enough going on to validate me, all point to Tinder being ideal. I can see how some would hate the app, but for me it is absolutely brilliant. Plus it's hilarious.

Pps- if you have any tech issues with Tinder, delete it, reset all phone settings (on iPhone at least) and reinstall. I did this and got a load of matches and replies come through from a 2 day period last week when suddenly i had started getting nothing.

I was going to post a thread about Tinder, but queried and found this wonderful thread.

Oddly enough I had a lady friend tell me about Tinder. I was like 'da fuq is that' and she showed me.

Lo and behold, I started searching for chicks in my area to game, I got a hit within 4 hours of using it. We chatted for a few hours, then I said the app has its limitations and isn't as good as texting. (In fact, the app is fine for chatting but it was a quick psychology move), plus chicks prefer texting, as opposed to staying inside of an application if it isn't text or facebook.

Turns out she had gone to the same University as me and lives the next city over, 6 miles away. This here sealed the deal and made it easier.

In addition...I ride a motorcycle a Ducati 1199, she was ecstatic about 'riding' on the back. That deal made her rumble and wet already, so we met up for a 'first date', which consisted of me telling her that I'll show her some beautiful mountain scenery, which will include sushi at the end of the ride. Bam.

Then later that night, she had asked what I would be doing since her and girlfriends were going out. This here made it even easier, I was already getting bottle service table at a club with a few buddies.

Turns out, not only is this chicks body hardcore, I mean hardcore, but she sucks a cock like a vacuum cleaner.
