There's also a tinder-like app for android only called Keen. It's similar to Tinder - facebook needed for pics and login, swiping etc so you might give it a try. I think I'll keep both on my phone. It's just too bad not a lot of girls here use these two.

The only reason Tinder works and it's clones fail is branding.

Only use the dating apps that are actually trending with girls.

I'm aware of that, but since girls here don't use online dating as much as in america, and one more app can't really hurt, it's worth a try, maybe you'll get one more notch...

My strategy with Tinder is quite simple. I use it every three days, say yes to all profiles, and when a match comes (average is 1.5 per week), then I see the pics and send a message or block. This takes away any expectation from a particular profile.

Soup I don't think there's any connection between the Tinder and OKC app as I use both. I have no scientific data to prove this but my gut feeling tells me that Tinder is just a passing app fad similar to Draw Something that started off hot and then quickly fizzled out. I really hope I'm wrong on this...

OKC now uses a "tinder powered" thing in their locals section of the app. I am not sure if they are "linked" but I have noticed a drop off as well in both my profiles. I don't know if its a dropoff in new girls or just the metrics of the app getting burnt out.

Not sure if you can get banned. Since its all FB based I think it self-police its self mostly.
