I think it is just this video, but a few online commenters/bloggers etc are saying it's going to be the start of a trend. When you have entire generations with no positive male role models, dysfunctional behavior will permeate. At first is was the 'gangsta' stuff, emulating the males pushed forward by the media as heroes, now it's effeminate people like Drake!

Tommy Sotomayor made a good point in the video above about thug/gansta types who wear their pants half way around their ankles exposing their underwear and ass for all to see as a gay thing. As a white guy I just assummed it was a reaction to dominant white culture and just a way for them to act/dress different from whitey. But looking objectively at it, a man walking around showing everyone his underwear is the stuff of gay pride parades.

This video is definately a joke. Every 12-18 y/o boy in the hood freestyles and has a mixtape. Everyone's been in a cypher rapping about silly shit afterschool.

I used to travel to other nearby high schools and battle other rappers b/c it was an easy way to expand my social circle and meet girls(battle rapper game). Good times.
