Admittedly, many guys here are much more well-travelled than me. I've been just in a few countries, but I have been there repeatedly, and my expertise pretty much stops at Brasil, Indonesia, very few parts of the FSU (just very few parts, FSU covering a sixth of the Earth's land surface), plus a few other places.
Anyway I wouldn't rate a city, but more a region. Miami is just one of those places that seems to get peoples emotions going.
Even my friends in California get all hyped up and exasperated with the mention of the place. I think it is because it destroys peoples world-view.
You either love it or hate it I think. The interesting thing is I have found that the people that hate it usually do for the wrong reasons.
The bar is pretty high, but once you are above it, it can be great.
I will put Brickell alone up against any nightlife district in South America. Hell, I was just recently in Polanco in DF and I thought I was in Brickell. I could have saved myself the airfare.
You want Latinas of all stripes? You have that in Miami.
You want EE and FSU girls of all stripes? You have that in Miami.
You want Montreal girls? You have that in Miami.
You want Models? You have that in Miami.
You want tourist girls from all over the world? You have that in Miami.
And you have it all with a backdrop of perfect weather and a warm ocean. And a liberal nightlife scene that is arguably one of the best in the world.
Where else do you get that?
I have asked before, if someone knows of another "Miami" that is cheaper, please let me know.

In fact you are right, I admittedly caricatured. I've been just once in Miami, and it was seven years ago.
I could go to Miami, and in very very good conditions. One of my good friends, a Saudi (real) international playboy, former F1 powerboat driver, co-owner of a group worth - I think - a few billions of $$, ect (whose father was in the Forbes Top Five Most Wanted White-collar fugitives BTW lol), lives part-time there and has repeatedly invited me, but even this doesn't make me want to go back. I prefer my FSU shitholes.

I've only been to Georgia, several times. I pushed to Sighnagi near the Azerbaijan frontier, but never further. I'd love to have the time to explore more, as I am very much into kavkaz girls and I am fond of kavkaz cultures.
Vorkuta made a fantastic Caucasus trip report (that should have had its own thread). His sense of adventure and his verve make other stories seem tame in comparison.

About Miami, I have admitted that I caricatured a bit, but IMO there's still a bit of truth in the picture I painted. It's a place where I have absolutely no desire to go back. That said, as usual, to each its own.

The ratio comment reminds me of people saying the same thing about Russia and Ukraine. Maybe those guys just went to night clubs early in the evening. I don't know but the ratios are far from that ideal.
My point being... your comments about Miami set off alarm bells as well based on a extreme view.

Here is a video showing photos of girls from the North Caucus republics. I would say that it is representative of what I saw there in terms of good looking women.
For quantity of hot women I would say Kiev and Moscow are almost impossible to beat. I have never been anywhere with such vast numbers of stunning looking women.
After that for my wild card I would say that Vladikavkaz was pretty special. There were not the huge numbers of stunning women walking about like in Moscow but the top women in the city were the match if not better than anywhere I have ever been including Moscow and Kiev. What I liked about Ossetia too was that the girls had a very nice nature to them, very sweet and a little conservative but not ridiculously so as in Ingushetia maybe. In other words ideal LTR material. My Ossetian police friends told me that they don't do anything in bed with their wives except missionary position! They said that they would never ask for a blow job as it was something you did with whores not with wives as to them it was vulgar. So I'm thinking there must be some very frustrated women there who are not getting what they want from their husbands.
A place I have never been to but where I have the belief the women are incredible is South korea. I know it is utterly ridiculous to make judgements about women based on music videos but the women in those Korea-pop videos are as attractive as any I have seen in the world. Light skinned Asian women with skinny bodies certainly do it for me.
You have certainly got me intrigued by Uzbekistan Prosal. I was looking at photos of the country and it's like a fairytale, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand...amazing places like something out of '1001 Nights'. I will have time for a trip sometime around November and Uzbekistan is definitely on my short list.

Kiev is overrated.When you first arrive in Kiev you wonder what the fuss is about.Later you change opinion due to constant stimulation.Prague, Bratislava, Stockholm on the other hand make immense impression on first arrival and this counts.

The thing about Miami is, what can you really do in the day time? Also, don't you get tired of the nightlife after a few days? Most people I know that live there complain about that and also say how tacky it feels after a while. I guess it depends on how you're doing it out there. High end all the way and it's probably much different.
The weather during the summer is oppressive so day game that time of year isn't really ideal.
I think for day game, Socal gets top honors. Probably the best day time scene in the country. Great weather, beaches, markets, all kinds of places to get at chicks. They're laid back out west too so that's another bonus.
The more interesting question is nightlife and in that respect, you have to put Miami and NYC in the same conversation. The good thing is they have opposite schedules. December through Feb/March it's Miami all day since wintertime is brick in NYC. The rest of the year NYC probably has the upper hand (including the Hamptons).
Miami also gets points for logistics. You're only a 2hr plane ride from the Northeast US and you're practically in the Caribbean already. Latin America moves are all within easy striking distance. Those flights are usually easy on the pockets too so that can help make up for the ridiculously humid summers. Again, I think it all depends on what levels we're talking about.
I think Miami full-time only works well if you're talking high end or at least the mobility to exploit the logistics that it offers and being able to slide in and out when appropriate.

G's pretty much spot on. Miami isn't for armatures. I pull well other places but Miami was a challenge. You may meet a girl and get her number. By the time you get around to calling her she already gave her number out to 6 other guys. Two of then have more muscles than you and two have a lot more money. It ain't easy. Dudes approach like machines out there. It's not like Denver where 80% of dudes won't approach, so if you do you're in the top 20% already just by opening your mouth. Down there everyone is approaching and a fine white girl will probably get approached 100 times in a week.

What I got from your post is that Russia has top talent, which I know and hope to confirm one day.
Also Serbia has top talent, which is why a few have put it on their list of top 3 places.

No I wouldn't say Russia has the top talent. For me it's the Latinas, and in Miami not necissarily from any one Latin country in particular. It's just a mix of top tallent from all sorts of Latin American countries. It's all preference though I suppose. Some like skinny white girls and some like curvey latina girls. I like the later. And you will be breaking your neck a lot. I don't care where you've been, Miami has top notch quality and if you say otherwise you're lying.

I guess you never been to the tri state NYC area? new Jersey, NYC, and southern Connecticut has close to a million FSU immigrants you would think. Thats not counting the second and third generation ones.
Miami population is very small. In fact a lot of the FSU folks are seniors who moved from NYC to retirement communities.That being said South Florida including Miami does have thousands of them.My wife has a few friends who migrated from NYC there but they had professional jobs lined up.Boston and Philly also have "little Moscow" areas. Even Vegas and Dallas Texas does. philly might be the second largest population since they actually have Russian media there. But you cant compare with NYC where there are dozens of Russian papers, magazines, 3 Russian radio channels, and Russian television is big here. If you want the largest amount of FSU chicks outside of FSU go to Isreal though.That being said the NY ones are happy dating there own guys (us lol). They are professionals and don't need green cards.
As for Miaimi. Nice city. But it is full of so many wannabes. It is like everyone has to get a tan, work out, buy/lease an expensive car and have a great pad .Not a problem is you have dough but the economy isn't that great there so a lot of folks run up debt. South Beach is also a workout wonderland of parks.
Depends what you like I guess. For me, taking a swim in the ocean, an occasional surf, and boxing is what I am looking for out of a day.

I was there in June and surprisingly it wasn't bad at all. Also, I hear it is not bad now.

Knowing both intimately, there is no where in LA, OC, or SD that compares.
Especially a comparable 23 block area.
The volume in South Beach can't be touched. Montreal either. I may do a Miami VS Montreal Comparison Data Sheet if there is some interest.
