I think swallowing the red pill sorta means seeing that our entire society is operating on very base level sexual sociobiology and characterizing its efforts as "equality."

Yes, part of that sociobiology involves female hypergamy and all of its legal ramifications, but to say that women are incapable of loving a man is a huge leap. Both men and women can move beyond that low-level behavior.

Once we change the broken laws in such a way that women aren't legally entitled to anything owned by a man by virtue of a sex act, we'll have decoupled hypergamy from our legal and social structures. Female reproductive instinct will never go away, but it will no longer be incentivized.

Until such time when this changes, being a "high status" male will be a double edged sword. You can get easy pussy, particularly in a rampant hook up culture, but many women will see you as a resource to exploit.

cardguy do you know barbarossaa? he talks about how women regard men as tools and how the government - a formless, shapeless entity without any personality that provides women with ressources - is the ultimate alpha male for them. that says alot about their view of men and how they want them to be.

Yeah - I am a big fan of barbarossaa. I discovered him ages ago - so alot of my thinking involving 'the red pill' was shaped by his cynical outlook.

He seems like a really cool guy. Although I don't share alot of his anger since I purposely avoid alot of the situations where men get fucked over by women.

If anything - I get a certain schadenfraude when I see guys getting their lives ruined by girls. It adds a frisson of guilty pleasure to my amazing life.

Women are definitely capable of loving a man... if that man is her son. I think one thing that needs to be fleshed out is the fact that your mother probably has a much stronger bond for you than your father or any boyfriend, etc.

Women love their children but the guys they are with are there for utilitarian purposes.

So basically you're saying love doesn't exist? My grandparents would beg to differ. I don't see how you can be with someone for 50 years and not love them. Sometimes the "red pill" philosophies I see here are taken too far.

I’ve overheard girls talking about how they’d hate to outlive their husbands.

You don’t have to get married, but it pains me to see people giving up on love.

Good advice. I'd add that marriage is always a mistake even if you do find love. If a woman loves you, there shouldn't be any pressure to sign yourself into a self destructive and sacrificial institution just to appease her ego.
