^^Those Adidas shoes are great. I bought them because they're plain, look good and were cheap but people say something every time I step outside. Throwed with Levi's and a t shirt or V neck add your own accessories.

I am probably older that most of you guys, so my dressing style is accordingly. Stylish, but refined and sober.

When in FSU, I simply wear Diesel jeans (Darron or Safado models), quality dark fit shirts (Zegna, Pal Zileri, Kenzo, Boss, ect) or quality black fit pullovers (including turtlenecks), and Weston shoes. My experience teached me that russian girls appreciate sobriety in a man, provided it is mixed with style, quality and the right dose of refinement. No need to overdo, or to wear clothes with obnoxious and ridiculous logos like Armani, D&G, ect, ect that scream out the faker or the bragger. Only for the belt I allow myself a discreet logo.

The more important for hunting in FSU (at least in winter lol) is IMO the coat. You NEED a nice coat, especially for daytime game. I have a black mink and cashmere Pal Zileri Sartorial which is a killer, and that has allowed me very lofty scores. Admittedly, a upper-end coat isn't cheap (some 4000 € for mine), but it's a great investment. It's not that the girls see your coat and say "I want his money", it just suggests good taste and success in life, and girls like tasteful and successful men. Also russian women are always dressed to the tens, and they want to be with similarly well-appointed men. As a side note, nice accessories (scarf, gloves, watch, ect) are IMO also important and are a proof of your refinement.

The 2013/14 winter Brioni collection is already on line and I've spotted a coat which is simply gorgeous. But given the prices of this brand, if I buy it, it will be during the sales.

Rocking a suit can be considered peacocking depending on the venue, but all this suit talk on this thread doesn't mean everybody is suited up every time they step out. I'd say maybe 5% of RVF members are always suited up. The key in this thread is buying clothes that fit and dressing better than 95% of the dudes out there.

I think in this thread somewhere Ali talks about his look. He has the rock star style. I don't think you will find shit for hipsters on this thread. I've seen some horizontal striped shirts, hoodies and skull caps on this thread tho. Can a hipster peacock?

I bought three pairs of jeans the other day at Ross. Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Burlington coat are my stores for cheap clothes. Ross is mainly good for jeans.

-I got a pair of 511's. First time buying Levi's in 18 years. Alot of forum members vouch so I figure I try them out. Naturally, I am 32" waist. 511's are tight as shit so I bought 34". I am not into the skinny jeans and that's what the 511's seem to be.
-I bought a pair of white jeans also. Add color to my wardrobe. I am starting to add alot of different colors. Get my grown man style on. Outside from the black, dark blue, and grey, I have some orange slacks, blue slacks, and now white jeans. I need to get more earth tones that go well with my skin tone.
-My last pair of jeans has a certain style to them. They are wrinkled. I will post pics to see what you guys think.

I think I am done buying shorts for the year. I do want some shorts that have a pattern like these. Everytime I see them, I want to ask the dude where he got them from. Anybody has a nice site or store that has them?

To all the young guys on the forum reading this thread, this is what you should aspire too. Forget the gimmicks, focus on buying timeless quality classic clothing.

4000 euros on a coat is alot of money and not everyone can afford that but I am sure Prosal feels like a million bucks when wearing stuff like this and that confidence goes a long way.

Prosal - would a Crombie coat be suitable for FSU? or too stiff.

+1. I couldn't agree more. Overdressing is just as bad as underdressing. My recipe is to be fashionable, look like I have money but am not obsessed with it, and stay MANLY. Don't overdo the primping. I have heard russian or ukrainian women on many occasions complain about Italians being too obsessed with their hair looks, wearing shirts and tee-shirts that are emblazoned with designer names and just scream out that the wearer is hideously naff. About the coat honestly I don't really know Crombie. If your budget is tight, you can try mid-level brands. A friend of mine bought in January a stylish dark grey Paul Smith autumn coat, 50% cashmere, that costed only 500 €, and furthermore he bought it on sales with a 50% discount. It was not high quality, but it looked OK and fashionable. I have almost exactly the same coat, a Brioni that I bought 2000 € also on sales ....you see and feel the difference of course, but I guess that it's not THAT obvious for most people (that said russian women are very very very good at gauging what you wear).

Anyway, dress with rafinement, sobriety and style in FSU and you'll literally pushing girls off of you, no matter your language skills.
