That's growing older. The possibilities and opportunities pile gets smaller and the disappointments and regrets pile gets larger. Best not to dwell on it.

As some suggested here, if I`d give anyone an advice to prepare for your 30s, it must be to do keep an eye on the future just a little more. Get yourself an apartment or save for one. Rent it out when you travel, and have someone else pay your mortgage. Refinance the mortgage if you can for extra funds to travel with after a few years. Point is, paying rent to a landlord is money you will never see again and a total waste. I have been doing pretty good with my investment and that is partly the reason why I can harvest the fruits from it now. However, I wish I did it when I was 25, and I would be in an even better situation now.

It can also be a giant burder that ties you down. Being a landlord can become a good amount of work. not to mention unexpected costs that may come up.

When you rent you are not necessarily "wasting money" you may be buying more freedom.

Like most commitments that could tie you up for decades you really need to be careful with your choice.

I'm 35 and I absolutely love it.

My early 20's was spent having fun and trying to figure out how to find my 'dream girl', late 20's was spent trying to turn a fun girl into my 'dream girl', and 30's was spent figuring out that all of that, even the idea, was total b.s.

All along I've consistently worked hard on my career and now I'm at a place where I get to experience some power. I'm not wealthy, but extremely comfortable with all aspects of my lifestyle.

If I had to choose the best part, it would be that I am totally comfortable being alone. I used to get lonely when traveling, running errands, or being the 5th wheel on a night out. No more. Now I just laugh at the B.S. all the guys I hang with have to deal with (the worst part is that it's public too). I walk through Target, and cringe at the work everyone else is doing chasing their family around. I enjoy the peace and quiet of flying. I go out alone and talk to whomever I want.

The best line I heard on here. "What did you do last weekend?" Reply: "Whatever I wanted to." I think until a man can get to that point in his life where he is able to enjoy himself, by himself, he won't have the right tools to be successful with women. Some guys get it earlier, but most don't and some never do.

Stretch more. Do yoga on the side. Never stop lifting weights. etc, etc, etc.

It just depends.

In their 20s, most guys are in college with no responsibilities other then homework.

In their 30s, these same guys are married with kids.

So, I would say, for the average guy, his 20's are better.

But, for a game-aware, rep pill type of guy, his 30s can be better. He should have more wealth, more wisdom, and better game.

If you want your 30s to be better then your 20s -- YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

It will not happen magically. You have to create, cultivate, and mange your lifestyle.

Happiness is your personal responsibility at any age.

For me, it's tough, I had fame in my 20s, I had groupies.

Its tough beat that. I have to work harder now to get the same quality.

P*ssy came easy to me in my 20s. But, overall, I think I am happier now.

I don't know. I don't think about it. I don't contemplate the past. I am focused on today. I am focused on my future. Yesterday is just a memory. I have always been lucky, I expect that to continue. I think my best years are ahead.

I will most likely retire in the Philippines and keep a few 18 year olds with me. My 90's could be better then my 20s!

30s are way better, assuming you've used your 20s well to prepare. It is 10x easier to pick up a girl at a bar/club in any city. Or at a bookstore. Or coffeeshop. Or in line at the airport for a cab.

Stay in shape, find a job or 'job' you like, make some money and you're basically set. I feel like at 32-36 my lifestyle was perfected, I still had plenty of energy to go out thu.fri.sat, travel the world, date 3 different 20-somethings, but, more importantly, I KNEW WHAT I WANTED by that point in life. At 22 you don't know jack about squat.

Defintely 30s hands down.

More money, more confidence and emotional quotient, better lifestyle, more notches under belt, more experienced from past mistakes, gone thru LTRs with horrible bitches and survived, less stress and more time.

Just keep fit, don't grow a bald patch or beer gut and good skincare regime. I'm 34 now but most girls I meet think i'm 27-28. Most of my notches are 18-25, not much in common most of the time but dammit the sex is awesome!

A lot of guys on here when giving advice in the context of careers and work have been discussing mostly the job side.

I'd love to hear from entrepreneurs. We tend to tackle our "careers" in a very different way.

For example, someone who was an MD at Goldman or some private equity company might advise a guy to start getting higher levels of CFA or networking in the right spots. Someone in the engineering field might suggest to young men that they go through a particularly grueling PHD program or something.

However, there is no specific school, program, certification - etc - for the lone ranger entrepreneur. We have to cut it ourselves.

I'd love to hear from the older entrepreneurs - particularly those who have made millions - how they most effectively used their time and energy in their twenties that benefited them later on.

At this moment in time I've made a ton of mistakes and small failures in the past 2 years on a very small scale. I feel like being able to make mistakes on a very small stage has been very beneficial for me. I get the impression that as guys get more wealthy and powerful and grow in influence, their successes (and especially failures) get amplified to a larger degree.

At risk of tainting this thread with second hand information,

The biggest mistake I've seen successful entrepreneurs in their 30s make is not taking care of themselves. Not eating healthy, not working out, drinking way too much, doing too many drugs. Each on their own is not particularly terrible, but all together it can be brutal. I suspect this is from both running business in a high stress/high risk way and failing to eliminate habits that were easy to get away with as early as college.

The rest, its just business and good accounting.

My 20s were filled with crazy drunken and drug fueled adventures, I was pretty care free. When I was living that lifestyle it seemed as if I had a lot more friends... even if they were fair weather friends for the most part it was still nice to have a tight group of people. I banged a shit ton of girls, always had nice cars which I was into. Got into a LTR for the mid to latter part of my 20s but got crazy strange on side, I juggled girls in an out of my house like I was running a nail saloon, and I got off on that, it was risky I felt like it took skill to never get caught. When I look back at those times I always think about the good, the crazy epic adventures and the wild dirty freaky sex... But there were dark times to, I felt lonely a lot and I was trying to fill that with random girls and nice cars. Looking back I miss the shit out of my 20s but again like I said that cause I only thing about the fun wild times.

My 30s so far arent nearly was wild... All tho I did travel out of the country for the first time an had some wild times in Asia. No more beer and drugs, now im all about green tea an yoga. Focusing a lot more on being healthy an cleaning up my diet an such. After I got back from Asia I got back with my LTR fro my 20s an now we live in a big house in a nice beach town on the east coast... but really it all seems kind of boring to me. I wanna travel again and im gettin my ducks in a row to do so before to long. Even tho the first time I traveled I felt alone alot an missed my LTR GF.... I doubt it will be much different the next time I travel... I feel like all my life I been searching for something to complete me an most of the time I search for it in young girls panties... I find it for during the hot sex sessions but as soon as I bust a nut I feel more empty then ever..... I have the grass is always greener mentality and always have... "I would be happier with this girl even tho im banging lot of hot ones, I would be happier with this car even tho I got super nice cars already, I would be happier in this place even tho when I get there Im planning my next escape...."
Im just focused on being the healthiest most in shape me I can be right now... damn I kind of went on a rant ha

I am 31. Since about 30, I have had this unshakable feeling that I am kicking life in the ass. That if I play it out right over the next fiver years or so, then I will be set for life. I don't know what I need to do, but I definitely have this feeling that what I need to do to be set for life is right in front of my eyes and all I have to do is see it and seize it.

I have never had that feeling before ever. My teens and 20s always felt like I had a slight but perpetual disadvantage against life and that I had to struggle to maintain that position, or else it would go into an unrecoverable death spiral.

I'm basically happy since I was 0, but didn't get laid much in my teens. Got laid a ridiculous amount in my 20s, doing great in my 30s. Stronger, richer and more relaxed than ever. Most important reasons: Didn't get married, I read a lot, I work out regularly.
