For me it's not the rejection, the work, the STDs, or the pregnancy scares. It's harem collapse.

You're banging 2 or more girls, things are going fine, and then suddenly they all drop out at the same time. In a flash you realize that have no one to contact to get laid and must "start all over" and re-build your pipeline.

What I find interesting in that harems never disassemble at an orderly rate. They seem to get sucked into a spontaneous black hole, leaving you with nothing.

Harem collapse is real, we've got one coming up on 2/14.

Since it does happen all at once, I wonder how much of harem collapse comes from the player and how much is due to outside forces.

I sometimes think that the game wants my harems to collapse so that it can feed once again on new blood.

Game also kills mystery. For artists, mystery can be inspiring.
I'm sure that if I tried to write a song now, it would be totally different from what I've written in the past. I looked at my old song ideas from a few years ago and they reflected a lesser beta omega mentality of pedestalizing women. It's embarrassing actually, and I have to hide that book so girls don't read it when they come over.

But, a muse can bring out a lot from an artist. Now, the game itself is my muse. I'd probably write songs about fucking.

Harem collapse is one of the worst things but another one is discovering the true nature of females and how they work.

Most men don't get to see the darker side of females because growing up they are simply friends with them and don't get involved sexually with them until later life.
The typical male spends his life sheltered from them, looking at porn and carrying their books. In the rare times he does talk to them she is nice and friendly.

For us guys in the field we get to see the darker aspects most men will never see. Chicks getting fucked in club toilets by guys they barely know, cheating on their boyfriends with numerous guys whilst the guy sits at home unaware, being fucked by managers at work in order to further her career position.

When you truly learn the nature of women it scares you more than anything because it goes against anything you were ever taught thats probably the worst part of being a player.

Actually this is a good thing not a worst thing. You have taken the red pill and now are aware of reality and can adjust your life and world view accordingly.

The worst thing for me would be periodic bouts of loneliness over the years. As Im passing my mid 30's I have learned to cope with it quite well.

As a 19 year old and having been in the game for only a short time, and have started becoming aware of the nature of women as mentioned above, for me it's handling the emotional ups and downs of seduction.

Some weekends when I go clubbing I meet tons of women, some of which I make out with, some of which I get numbers, and the odd time I actually pull.

Recently have been going on dates with some of these women that interest me. The hardest part for me is handling the ups and downs. Sometimes I will escalate with a girl and fail to get sex, and feel the down. Or I will constantly think about a girl throughout the week, until I actually go out on the weekend and meet new girls, and feel the down. But when I go out on the weekend and feel my new and constantly improving skill at work, that gets me awesome interactions, dances, and sexual escalation with women... I feel the up, the high.

The hardest part for me is handling the emotional roller coaster. Is this temporary, is it something that you just become resistant to over time?

time. there's not enough time to do everything i want to do: make money, game, pursue hobbies. It's really hard for me to prioritize everything in a balancing way, and then sometimes when I'm doing one activity I think about how I should be doing something else instead because I haven't spent enough time doing it recently.

Worst part in my case is being able to see through the lies women tell you to your face when you know with proof that they're lying.
Funniest part is after they've been caught...watching that hamster spin at Mach 5 trying to come up with a viable excuse for their behavior.
Also realizing they're all the same on some level. Seeing a girl pull some bs with me thinking she's original when in actual reality i've seen it done 5 or 6 times in the past year.
It can be disheartening to realize you'll never fully trust a female in the relationship. The term "Hypergamy" threw me for a loop when i first heard it. Now it perfectly fits into the female behavior. It also explains a metric fuckton of "odd" female behavior I've witnessed in my life.

Best part of being a player is being able to get some revenge...like fucking all of your ex-gf females friends in succession. And she can do nothing about it except hear about how great you are in bed hahaha!!!!!

Downsides:
1. Drinking necessary for dates/health issues
2. Hiding reality from consensus people who could impede on your cash flow (not a problem for Roosh)

Upside:
1. Knowing you can get a harem again
2. Less long-term costs
3. Improved mental health
4. Knowing you can live your life for yourself
5. Avoiding the laundry list of bad decisions people make (debt, marriage, kids, levered up on home equity)
6. Improved physical fitness
7. Improved style
8. Life in general.

The health one is the only real worry IMHO, anything that temporarily derails isn't bad, the negative impact that slowly creeps up over decades is troublesome.

Men have thicker skin than women, so we can take more of alcohol and smoking, but at some point.....

I question any international playboy that claims to get 8 hrs of regular sleep. It's hard enough as it is, then tack on:

1. Jet lag- It can throw you off for several days.

2. New Hunting Grounds- We all know we're worse than a hound dog when first hitting a new place to play.

3. Accommodation Change- Constantly moving from bed to bed will kill sleep patterns.

4. New Pussy- Maybe you guys can, but it takes time for me to get used to sleeping next to an unfamiliar girl.

5. Alcohol- Always kills quality sleep.

6. Security- In shitty places, I sleep real light, especially with a questionable bitch next to me. Forget it.

7. Shits- Montezuma's Revenge can cause disrupted sleep, worse case.

8. Immune System- Constant moving can lower defense, causing sickness, which in turn can keep you up all night.

That alone can make us look like shit, then add all the other shit we do, stress over, forget to do that we should. The way I'm going, I'll look like a saddlebag with eyes in 10 years.

Gio and Mechanico-noone taught me these things about women, I think there was some inherent desire to have a deep, romantic relationship with a woman. Think about that phrase:

There's nothing crazy about that to me, that's not something that needs to be learned from a parent. It's human. In that regard, you could amend the statement with:

"I want to have a deep, romantic relationship with another human." Women want this too, they just have too many fucked up tendencies to actually make it work.

Despite having adapted otherwise, sometimes I wish I could go back in time to when I could love a woman completely. Being in love when I was 18 was fucking AWESOME. In a way it's like wishing I could take the blue pill again; like the defector in the Matrix (the scene where he's eating a steak in that restaurant)

I can't and won't now, and I don't think I ever will. That doesn't mean I don't crave it sometimes.

The end result of all that is that when I'm gaming, chasing, and eventually banging a girl, there's a part of my brain that's telling me, "This won't make you happy." It's part of growing up and being mature, but every once in a long while, you want to believe that women could, in fact, potentially make you happy.

#1 worst thing.. pickup guy/player reputation. Especially for people in their hometown. But travelers who stay for a month can mess things up by being too flashy and spectacular in venues they frequent.

That's a lonely road long term. Once you're set in your ways, it's hard to change. I worked in a hot saloon for about 5 seasons, and saw what happens to players once they hit 40+. Not where I really want to be, creeping out college girls, but ending up with 38+ wall smashers, in the same bar trying to relive out their youth. As the staff, we though it amusing, but sad.

Being so defense against women means they've won. I'll take getting the risk of getting fucked over or heartbroken for the chance of having the option of not being the 45 y.o. guy at the end of the bar.
