Back in the 90s we had much more masculine Anime. Now in 2013 about 99% of it is weak feminine scrawny nice guys spending 50 episodes trying to get 1 damn girl. I'm just so frustrated today because most things entertainment wise coming out of Japan is pure omega-male junk for the modern mangina. It blows my mind that my very own people are pretending that nothing is wrong with Japan and modern Anime.

I mean if you look at those Japanese grasseaters they aren't MGTOW like most MGTOW believe. Grasseaters are simply feminine scrawny guys who rather hang with women instead of banging them. That people isn't beta it's downright omega-male.

Just yesterday I was surfing for some Asian BJ scenes and couldn't help but notice the Japanese males acted inferior to the women. In some scenes they pretended to be the geeky nice guy obsessed with some girl to which he ended up raping her. As you can see with my avatar I don't mind fake monster/human rape scenes as long as the guys aren't scrawny beta wimps.

As a guy who use to love everything about japan I'm noticing everything coming out of Japan is annoying as hell . I can't play their games or watch their movies without thinking " damn these dudes are girls".

Yeah, Japanese men are so beta is truly bizarre.

However, you get the odd outlier like the actor Hiroyuki Sanada. He was in Last Samurai and Lost, he's fucking awesome.

I don't know why there is such a huge concentration of Omegas / Grass-Eaters in Japan. From what I see, the women there have neither gotten fat nor feminist, and the level of game required is not too large. It seriously confuses me.

As someone who used to watch a lot of anime in the early 90s, before geek culture became cool, you can clearly notice a difference in the kinds of movies and shows that are produced.

I mean look at the original definition:

Eh, like any big hobby it depends. Are a lot (perhaps the vast majority) of the guys involved in the hobby Omega? Sure. Definitely.

But it's more and more a female hobby, and as more girls get into it that means there are opportunities. I would say it is now about 30% to 40% a female hobby, and at many anime conventions the ratio is actually titled so there are more women there than men. Now, there's a saying about the girls that go to the anime conventions("By and large, they're bi and large.") but some of them are very, very cute, and enjoy dressing up in skimpy outfits.

So you'll see girls like this:


Some are approachable, some aren't, but I did know a guy with only a very passing interest in the hobby who went to conventions with the primary objective of getting laid. He did well for himself.

I was in Japan around the 10th anniversary of Evangelion, and I happened to read a retrospective on the show and the influence it had on Japanese culture. A decent number of dudes got OBSESSED with her. One guy, who I believe is now a moderately high-ranking director, talked about how he withdrew from life and school and wrote fanfiction of him and this girl which ran on for thousands and thousands of pages. His experience was far from unique.

Anime was always been for omega males who like to go to their fantasy land and be Goku or some other super dude who is able to beat the bully.

You are probably acquiring a certain awareness of game and its principles so you start to spot beta and omega bullshit in media you enjoyed before.

Anime is great, there is an abundance of different and unique animation out there. Granted, many of them cater to beta fantasies and sometimes I would enjoy a show a lot more if they toned that down. There is this genre where a shy, very beta acting guy magically gets all the girls and and is forced to live with a harem. On the other hand, there are those animes where an average beta guy has to fight for himself while suffering hardships and acquiring alpha traits.

You can find similar stories in live actions shows, for example Densha Otoko. Surprisingly, one of the friends of the main character shows some alpha traits, although masked behind an over the top otaku facade.

The anime i've seen lately has a lot of main characters that don't acquire alpha traits. It's like they go from omega to beta, but had a few alpha moments. Even after the threat is gone, the main characters only feel slightly better about themselves

Durarara! comes to mind.

It makes me wonder how much of Japanese culture is obsessed with being the main character in a Radiohead album.

What about Kei in Gantz? As a kid, he used to be a natural leader that amazed his schoolmates. As he grew older, he lost that virtue but over the course of the story his old character emerges.
