Steve Nash reportedly wrapped up in strange custody battle with ex

According to TMZ, Nash is “waging a legal war” in an attempt to prevent his ex-wife, Alejandra, from moving the former couple’s three children from Arizona to L.A. It is believed that a gag order is in place that prevents anyone from talking about the case, but TMZ also noted that Nash would have to pay significantly more in child support if his children live in California than he would with them living in Arizona.

“I can’t comment on the information you attribute to sources connected with TMZ,” well-known divorce lawyer Lance Spiegel, who was recently hired by Alejandra, said. “I confirm that I have been retained by Alejandra, that I cannot comment because of the reasons described and that Alejandra is not available for comment.”

The article paints Nash as being somehow cheap for not wanting his ex to move the kids to LA, where he now plays. Why not question the ex's motives for moving the kids from the place where they grew up? Is she doing it to make it easier for him to see his kids, or is she doing it because she'll get more money? Maybe Nash legitimately thinks it's better for the kids to stay in the same schools, and not have to make new friends in a new city...

Update: For anyone who cares. Blew her off for almost a week, she texted and called me a few times and I was not really interested in meeting her up. Yes I know for sure. The texts were explicit.
