Tip of the day: The more bitter the overall opinions/reviews are [pretentious vibe / stuck up people / tough door / poshy] the hotter the venue is, the hotter the girls are aka the more you want to go there. Don't get me wrong good reviews mean the club is cool and friendly but you those BAD reviews show how intimidated guys were inside which is a good sign. To me at least. Dress to impress, find few chicks to get with them inside and you're good to go.

Warsaw:

Enklawa

Went to 5 different clubs last night and they were all sweaty cock fests. Went to Prozak bar... more my cup of tea actually but everyone seemed to know each other. I was getting a few eyes but absolutely no opportunity to approach.
Met an Italian guy whos lived here for 10 years. He spoke about the glory days in Krakow which had me salivating at the mouth. Anyway he knows everyone here so I know where to go and where not to and managed to hop along for a bit of VIP treatment.
Went to a sneaky little venue popular with the locals which had a decent crowd. Made one approach toward a Polish stunner but was instantly cock blocked by 2 guys who appeared from nowhere.
I also received a Bart Simpson style strangling after a guy saw his girl chatting to me in the smoking room. She approached me! I was too drunk to care so brushed myself down and just found the whole thing rather amusing.
Clearly once you venture outside of the tourist hotspots you are just going to encounter this kind of behaviour. If I cant bare the tourists and I am not welcome with the locals then this place is completely dead to me as far as I am concerned.
Chatted to a nice looking girl outside having a smoke. She took me to really cool 70s style bar. I thought my luck was in.. she seemed really into the whole thing until 5pm she declined my offer of a nightcap. Almost 2 valuable hours wasted on a Saturday night.
Watched 3 English dudes pull a group of Polish lovelies who I was too afraid to approach because I was on my own. Walking back home I saw 2 of the guys hop into a cab with 2 of the girls from the group. I wouldn't have cared if they weren't so fit. Gutted.
Overall though the quality is not good compared to Russia and Ukraine and they have a tad more attitude which is typical of a tourist hotspot I guess. This is the first city I have been which is a big disappointment but I kind of expected it. I just have to see these things for myself.
THis has also had me rethinking my visit to Prague. Has anyone been to both and can comment if they are the same sort of deal?

Are you sure it's the place, not you?

I mean most girls act weird/stiff/confused in first moments of pure cold approach interaction [unless they're drunk]. Expect that. The less you're intrusive/aggressive/pushy the faster they will get accustomed to you and comfortable with you. Hence the phrase, COLD approach. To me the first moments of pure cold approach are the same as getting this:



I mean not always but that's what I expect. I personally ask myself "I wonder what stupid shit will I get this time?". And people rarely fail to surprise me. That's why I don't need to have cool things to say, I can say something as simple as "Hi you look so bored, how so?" and I know they will say/do something more/less stupid that I can use to carry on the convo.

My question to you is, can you ENDURE [perfect word] that initial unpleasant cold shower? Can you keep smile on your face standing there? Can you talk like nothing happened? I hope you can. You can't fight it you're already wet. But that's fine cause with time it gets warmer and quite fun actually. So don't expect girls to be oh so happy to be bothered out of the blue by some random guy they're unfamiliar with. Girls are not used to meeting complete strangers every day which is especially visible after you get past that first typical pleasantries of "where are you from & what do you do" where they don't know what to do/say so you must engage them and lead.

I'm not dissing, just illustrating the point.

As for Kraków specifically [which applies to every tourist based city], beside that standard skill of dealing with typical social pressure triggered by cold approach, there is also a problem of being viewed as another-drunk-british-stag-party-fucker that locals may categorize you as instantly without even thinking. You need to think of ways to handle that as well. Not using British accent might be the first step hahahahah..

Course man... I just tell it how it is for a laugh so guys can see how it is from one mans perspective. Even if I get lucky I am careful not to overhype a place. I like to get down to the specifics of my experiences and compare them with other countries. It just so happens that Krakow doesn't cut the cheese. My main point was not that girls are not interested, it is more a problem with the city itself:

1. Not many girls in the 7/8 range
2. Terrible ratios. I'd say 6 guys to 1 girl.
3. Awkward venues with load music and too much dancing
4. Cock blocking if you are hitting on good looking girls
5. Touristic

None of the above I experienced in Russia, Ukraine or Lithuania

Hell I have only been here 3 days. Just thought I'd air some frustrations. I have multiple Polish flags so it's nothing against the women per se.

No worries. I don't care. Different experiences help me make better informed decisions. I gather what info I can and then take a gamble. I am on a one man mission to find somewhere to settle down for a while so its just another place to cross of the list... and probably all other major tourist destinations in the process. Yep Poznan is fine. Less touristy and cute girls but it's too small to do any real damage although I know Roosh rinsed it for all it was worth
Wroclaw is great that's why I wanted to come and see a bit more of the country. To be honest after this I am done with Poland but it's still a great place to come for guys who have not been here yet!

Poland was glorious between 2005 - 2010. Then the gfc coinciding with a booming Polish economy meant all the Polish guys working in the UK and Germany returned home. The ratio is no longer female dominated.

This together with the expansion of Wizzair (providing direct flights from Italy and Spain to Wroclaw, Krakow and Gdansk) has ended Poland's time.

I'm fortunate to have experienced Wroclaw in 2009 at a time when there was a male shortage, and the only way to get to the city was by 5hr bus from Prague or Dresden.

Wroclaws days are numbered that's for sure. However I think it is still important to have some level of expansion otherwise it would not attract girls from more rural areas. Poland is the only casualty out of so many other cities that most guys wouldn't even think of going to piss on their monuments.

I've scouted most of EE. Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania are at the top of my list for EE.

But for myself, I just really gel with Russian and FSU women. I do not see any need to go anywhere else, EE seems like a bit of a compromise, for me at least.

Nick in Warsaw is a champ and does well with direct daygame there. However, I didn't really gel with the ladies in Warsaw, found the quality to be less than I expected, but ended up decamping with a Polish lady in the outer suburbs for a bit.

Gadabout, I can concur with your perceptions about Warsaw nightlife. I'm afraid to say you are likely to find Prague more touristy and trashy. Thew GFC has adversely affected all of Eastern Europe as the men who were working in the UK have returned home.

Fortunately, we still have so many pristine 2nd tier Russian cities. The language barrier is just too difficult for most of these horny desperados to overcome. It will take many years still for them to ruin things there.
Though, improving financial conditions I believe, is the main culprit in ruining countries like Poland.

Yeah Russia really is the shit. It doesnt want to be part of Europe and people just dont want to go there. People are generally just scared of the place. Language is obviously your biggest hurdle but the amount of women make up for that and the ones that speak English are really approachable. Same in Ukraine. Europe I am always encountering bitch shields to some degree.

Czech republic - Whilst i am on the road it comes up time and time again - but there is no solid data on anywhere outside of Prague which just makes me want to go there even more.
Moldova - Still seems to come up in conversation alot but it might have that Ukrainian golddigger mentality which bothered me in Kiev.
Hungary - I don't know about this one but had an interesting convo with a guy this weekend about his time there who rated it much higher than Romania and Bulgaria.

The later 3 might just be for a bit of fun but I think I want to concentrate my efforts more on Russia/Ukraine possibly Minsk in the future. It just feels more exciting and the women are just hotter. It can be hell if the city is very clique-ish. I'm sure there are some 2nd/3rd tier cities where chicks can be equally as naive or curious about things though. Though 1st tier cities can be tougher to crack at times, it really is a great equalizer for locals, general out of towners, and foreigners to game in that everyone is sort of on the same playing ground.

Btw, Gadabout..Serbian women are gorgeous and can be nice, but they 95% of the time prefer local guys. Didn't catch a thing in my 4-5 days in Belgrade. Maybe its different if you catch them at a beach resort in another country though.
