Feeling the mortality...make sure very fuck is like your last..
So, just finished my workout -- did shoulders and arms (40 lbs dumbells on the shoulder presses, curls with 45s, among others) then hopped on the treadmill and did 15 minutes of HIIT.

Just a few minutes after I stepped off the treadmill, I got a call from a relative. One of my other relatives, a 66 year old woman, passed away from ovarian cancer this afternoon. Funeral next week.

66. I am 60. Needless to say, this sucks.

So all you guys out there, you will become me. It's just time. I am doing everything I can to stave it off -- exercise like a maniac, eat clean, devour the supplements, keep the drinking to manageable levels.

But this one hit me.

So my advice to you -- make sure you treat every fuck like it's your last one. Even if you don't like her all that much, pound her until she is a quivering mush of orgasmic flesh. And when you bust your nut, say to yourself "This is what it means to be alive." Every time. Whether you're 20 or 50.

Because it all comes to its close.

As much as we like to brag about enjoying our youth longer than women do, our time is extremely short.

Make sure you enjoy it. For all any of us might know, our next fuck will be our last.

Good post. It's good to think ahead and with different perspectives in life. Makes you appreciate your time more and start living the life you want right now.

I like this, but I don't think you need to worry about pleasing some bitch. She should be worried about making you happy.

Clarification
Just to clarify this discussion, it's not death we should be worried about, because once we're dead, we obviously won't be alive any longer to fret about not getting laid. What we need to worry about is getting into some sort of situation where we're lingering on in life but, for some reason--a stroke, erectile dysfunction, poverty, general physical hideousness, whatever--are unable to fuck. That's a torture I'm not sure I could stand.

Some of us may want to have an exit plan ready in case that kind of situation happens, or is about to happen.

Walking accross the street last night a taxi made a left and was coming fast right at me. I saw him and was reading to jump but he stopped about seven feet in front of me. Not exactly skirting death but it rattled me and makes you think how short your time could be.

@tenderman100 This is a bit off topic but I was wondering what still drives you to want to keep living? I have already done so much it's difficult for me to envision wanting to live past 60. I am not sure I will be able to do the same things I am doing now or that I would even want to...

An anthem of my generation:

Quote:People try to put us d-down
Just because we get around
Things they do look awful c-c-cold
I hope I die before I get old

About the time Pete Townshend turned 50, he was asked, "You're old now...what are you going to do?"

I'd say...keep on fucking.

Oh, by the way, I am still good at it...no Viagra necessary.

That's the tragedy of life. It seems you'll never find happiness outside. When you don't have something, you work your ass off to get, if you lose, your life becomes miserable, and if you win, the satisfaction is very temporary and is soon replaced by greed for more, or craving to preserve your success! Cool post though

hahah, I rememebr thinking this way when i was 18, boy was i clueless and naive. I will be 40 in a few more years, i still get off on exercise, making money and banging chicks; in that order, tenderman is 60 not 90. A guy i know at the gym is 65 he is about 5 foot 5 and can squat about the weight of a small car, take a look at Sly stallone.

RE: Feeling the mortality...make sure very fuck is like your last..
Thanks for this!

I'm going to be 50 next month. I think about this every goddam day. Had my only fuckbuddy over last night and cut her loose this morning. Why? Because I can do better and there's no such thing as scarcity. I want better and having her in my life was allowing me to be lazy.

Never in my life (with the exception of my marriage) have I gone more than a few weeks without new pussy when it wasn't my choice. And I'm not worried now.

The only thing I am concerned with is whether right now, in this moment, I am giving it everything I've got.

I'm with you tenderman... This is what it means to be alive.

So at 50 chasing pussy is still the main reason to get out of bed Smile

It's as good a reason as any and better than some if not most.

Different people mature at different rates, just like various varieties of trees plants...I had my biggest burst of creativity, writing, music, etcetera between 50 and 53. Then you get guys who wrote some great songs when they were 22 and never top it.

But gaining weight in late 40's definitely fucked me up, dick worked a lot worse, had to start testosterone therapy.

Someone mentioned somewhere else separating companionship and sex, that will happen if you're bright, there are no interesting 20 year old women and there are virtually no 50 year olds I want to fuck.

And for me chasing is MUCH less entertaining, because I don't have nights to waste with idiotic young girls, only a couple thousand nights til I'm 60. I'd rather have fewer that I keep fucking.

@tenderman You sir are an inspiration. It's a pleasure to be on the same forum as you. Keep up the good work. I have confidence in you that the day it all ends, you'll have had a good fuck and well lived life. I hope I can say the same. I know that we are both grounded in libertarian philosophy. It is a pleasure to read your posts and rest assured I intend on carrying the same torch into the future. If i have done my job, a young man after me will do the same. There is hope after all, now isn't there.

I’d rather be far right, than far wrong!

RE: Feeling the mortality...make sure very fuck is like your last..
First of all, I want to thank all of those who thanked me in my initial post. It is a badge of honor to get what I think is the "most liked" post in the history of the great RooshV forum.

It was a post that just sorta came out. Just laid it out there.

Second, I want to let all of you know that this forum, its insights, its ideas, its advice, its overall way of looking at things, is the BIG secret in my life. No one in my circle knows I am on here. I have a large circle of business and social connections who would be shocked that I am on here. Some of my friends have tried to fix me up with a woman from time to time, and I am not interested. My sister asked me the other day do I have any plans to get remarried -- and I say, I am just dating.

So while from time to time I might with friends and associates test some ideas out that are compatible with the thinking around here -- the dangers of feminism, sluthood -- I keep it all to myself.

It's great to be here, and it's great to give me the outlet that I need to express myself in this very important aspect of my life.

Attended the funeral this week. Nice speeches. People dressed up.

In other words, it sucked.

Burn me up and throw my ashes into the Pacific Ocean. I want no speeches when my time comes.
