RE: The Cube failed
One commenter calls her out and is 100% correct - not bad for a guy (good red pill candidate) who seemingly has a limited understanding of game and women:

Quote:While the guy may have been a jerk, I cannot say the author was an ideal date either.

Any woman simply looking for a free drink and not willing to put effort into a date is going to get as much as she put in.

Online dating is not like meeting naturally, there is no obligation for the guy to pay (you may be less than your profile presents). It's just a way of meeting people, no romance implied from the start.

I once had an online date where the woman looked upset and grumpy when she walked into the restaurant. After some unpleasant conversation, I suggested we split the bill. She later emails me saying how rude I was not to pay for her food and drink. I didn't know I was her meal plan.

Good point. He probably saw that the date was going nowhere.

It sounds like this dude had her number right off the bat, and decided to fuck with her head for his amusement.

RE: The Cube failed
Whenever I read something like this, or like those two loser WaPo reporters who went to Alaska, my first thought is that it is completely insincere. I'd bet that this chick went online looking for blog fodder as opposed to actual dates. I wouldn't be surprised if she purposefully picked the dude most likely to act like a jackass.

Huffington Post publishes posts from writers all over the place, but as soon as I read this, I had a sneaking suspicion where this woman might live. And big surprise...

Quote:Penney is determined to showcase how life after a 'starter marriage' is better -- so long as coffee, dark chocolate and whiskey are nearby. Penney earned her BA in Sociology from the University of Arkansas and her Master's in Public Health from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. When not discussing heath care, Penney can be found running, reading, baking and hoping the zombie apocalypse holds off a few more months until she gets her personal firearm license.

I introduce you to every woman in DC.

Also, this sort of game was meant for ADD club chicks. I'm sure that something similar can work on the SWPL crowd, but it needs to be better calibrated, using characters from Jane Austen novels or cupcake flavors. This gives me an idea: SWPL-chick crack.

RE: The Cube failed
It was not the Cube that failed. The guy just failed to pass the shit tests.(why do you use online dating? Why did you get a divorce? Why did you choose a bar to meet me?).It seems sb gave him advice to answer like asshole and he failed. But maybe he was calibrating for fuckbody or just reversed the shit tests to find out if the girl would comply with quick sex.

RE: The Cube failed
The cube is somewhat archaic. It's basically game 2.0 (where today's game I consider to be released 4.0) and to clunky and relies on heavy rapport to be useful. As such it's really not practical for most situations.

I agree however that there's something fishy about this retelling. Either the woman isn't truthful about the things said or the guy here totally lost interest. It's too much of one of those odd dates that women talk about but ultimately has another story to it.

I forgot about that line... Wiccan. If she said that to me, I would've went the asshole route myself.
