I was at an evening (non-bar) event and watched two guys approach three girls. It seemed clear to me that the guys didn't have a ton of game, so I wasn't surprised when they walked away after a few minutes.

Seemed like an easy opening, so I walked up and admitted that I had watching the pickup attempt and couldn't help but come over and ask about it. It ended up feeling like I jumped into an existing conversation (maybe they were already talking about the two guys) and less like a generic opening.

I basically made some jokes about they guys and asked for feedback about what they did wrong, and how they could have done better. Eventually one of the said the guys needed to take more action, and it seemed like an easy moment to get a number from her.

Not sure how often an opportunity like that comes up, but has anyone else seen anything similar?

This was VKs standard approach. He just cleaned up after other guys bombed.

I've seen it done by lots of players. Bottom line is you start by clowning him but then transition into a normal conversation. Don't linger too long on the dude

this is a good strategy to use with a wing and i think its been covered in a previous thread too. works wonders when done properly.

This is a timely post. I went to my favorite place on Friday and saw this good looking blonde getting hit on by numerous chachi guys. She rejected them so I immediately went up and the following convo occurred:

'Wow. It looks like you are really popular tonight. What makes you so special?' (qualify)
'I don't know. Too bad all of the guys are douchebags.'
'Well you kind of have that look that attracts douchebags...' (slight neg)
'Oh ya. Well what does that make you?'
'Hi I'm (gameoflife) and I'm not a douchebag'

The conversation evolved before her friends attempted to mother hen multiple times but she kept shooing them off. Eventually I closed the #. I am hoping this opportunity presents itself many other times. I can't think of a better way of immediately showing confidence than approaching a gal after she has blown someone off by asking her to qualify herself.

^ this. I've used this a couple of times and works well, provided you make a smooth transition.

No I wouldn't call them a douchebag. that will make her defensive.
just tell her he seemed vey cute, nice and they would make a great couple. then she will talk about how that guy was weird blah blah

*works best if it's some stupid affliction shirt, or insert whatever awful other piece of style he's trying to pull off.


If it's day and she's being hit on by a bum or a drunk, after he leaves, wait a minute and then:
"Hey, where'd your friend go?"
"OMG, he's sooooooo not my friend!"
"Well, not anymore, he totally just ditched you."
