I have noticed that many young girls that I bang tend to talk down about their male peers-women 18-28 just have no respect for young men. It is so easy to check out as a young male-the video games , porn, and weed can easily take you out of the game. Video games for men are like Instagram for women- First person shooters involve teamwork, and if you become competent and rank up you become respected by other good players, and you will take the goal of winning seriously-it hijacks your natural male instincts to perform well at a task and work with a team. As a man who was seriously into gaming until my career demands made it to where I simply did not have the time to play-that shit became addictive as soon as the online factor came into play. If I grew up in the aughts and had the internet from the age of 5 I do not know if I would be a productive adult-add in porn on demand for free and incredibly difficult women with impossibly high standards- it would just be so easy to check out. I feel for these young men, I am in the sexual market place now and I see how rough it is for them. These men need motivation, encouragement, and a mentor to show them the path to prioritizing their happiness with self sacrifice. That second paragraph sounds like where my youngest brother has ended up. He's hit mid 20's, never held a job, never got laid as far as I can tell, and spends all his time playing games and surfing youtube. As far as I’m concerned here are a couple of reasons why I’m not getting laid like a rockstar.

-I work 8 hours a week, a tough physical job. While women get to work far easier far less stressful jobs they have more energy to go get dick.

- Women at young ages make good money as waitress’s and get bank rolled by either other men or parents. Young men are meanwhile kicked out the door as fast as possible.

- Tinder is a rich mans/Decent income mans game. I don’t make enough money to travel, nor do I make enough to take pictures eating fancy food.

But here is the kicker.

My quality of life without getting laid like a rockstar is in nearly every way better than most of these women.

I can take care of plants, cook good food, play sports with friends and wreck at video games. Fix up my house, clean my gutters etc...etc....

When the day comes where all these boomers want me to touch and hang out with their daughters I’m not going too. I’ll pretty much give them a top notch ignore and tell them to get lost and if I want good sex go on vacation or go sleep with a decent hooker.

Not too mention all the roast beef pussy that is starting to become an epidemic. I’ve slept with about six girls in my life and I’m hitting 25.

Who wants to sleep with somebody who is the equivalent to my age who has slept with 50 plus while getting trains ran on them? I’ll go fetch a different train thanks. Maybe go smoke some weed and play some video games.

I tried explaining to my GP friend that women are the major recepients of affirmative action. I calmly explained to him how it could be possible that 50-55% of the med school class can be women in every western nation? He replies that women are just as smart and capable as men and there's no affirmative action for women happening. I calmly explain to him that 80% of STEM are men. That most STEM students want to go to med school. How is it possible that women are half the class with these numbers? He counters by saying women don't have to be STEM to go to med school. But then I counter again by saying you cannot avoid taking the STEM prerequisites and scoring high on the MCAT which has a lot of science. He didn't say he was convinced but he became quiet which is sign of cognitive dissonance. He himself is a ethnic minority born in Canada and had to go to med school abroad to get into med school, a victim of the system defending the very system that systematically discriminates against him in both gender and ethnicity.

Yes, many are downright hostile. Media plays a part in pushing anti-male tropes, as well as feminism. Combine with endless validation and boosted egos women get from social media you have really bad narcissism coming from women and lack of empathy. I have a unique perspective here, I stopped gaming at age 14. I pick up a game if I'm with a friend who games, but that's it. I was very high achiving at that age, so it was fortunate I stopped. Meanwhile many of my average and above average friends went down the rabbit hole of gaming, which came to define both their future career academic prospects and their social lives. On both counts, gaming was seriously damaging to them. The worst thing you can have is a young adolescent male who is not properly socialized (not going to parties or having a GF b/c of video games), and is going nowhere in his life (because he is blowing off high school and college), because he decided to drift right around the age of 18. Games are damning to men, channeling their urges to win, feel part of a team, etc. into an outlet that yields almost 0 for them. It is hard to moderate your screentime once you start, thus it is very addictive, just like social media or porn.

To add on the pile on for young men is the problematic parenting/upbringing for many young men. Parents too busy/clueless to guide their sons, single motherhood, and helicopter/armored car parenting has produce young men with lack of sense, confidence, and ill adjusted to thrive in the real world. Add in the financial situation with student loans for many to god damn mess. I'm fucking one of those poor schmucks, but I'm too busy trying to get my life in order and get some type of career going.

The late 90s had an economy that was booming like nothing before, and were actually much more sex-friendly than now. I've written a couple of times on what I believe is the main problem with the dating market and why everyone, but particularly men, are losing so badly.

On Linkedin, there are three settings that you can activate for privately job searching so that recruiters can contact accordingly:

1. "Actively Looking" . This will tell recruiters that you are looking for a job, and looking for it now. Most people using this setting are either out of work or unhappy with their current work.

2. "Passively Looking". This means that you are happy where you are at, but for a "Whoa" offer, you would leave your current role.

3. "Not Looking/Off" This turns off the feature and hides your name from recruiters who are looking for potential job seekers. They can still find you and message you, but your name won't be delivered to their inbox/screen.

Most young women are in bracket #2, "passively looking." There are some women in bracket #1, but much more in bracket #3. If a guy has a "Whoa" value prop, they'll engage in a relationship, but otherwise, they're happy being single. Most women are getting laid a couple times a month at most. Truth is, they are mostly satisfied without consistent men, chasing their career/education, having cocktails with their friends, soaking in the validation from their instagram selfies. The women in bracket #3, which there are plenty, don't give a shit about men at all, besides for the e-attention that they give and the occasional free drink at a bar.

Even on dating apps, where you'd think most women would be "Actively Looking," most of us can attest to how hard it is to get a girl out 1-4 times even if there's a conversation + number exchange + date. I usually text a girl for 2-3 weeks to get her out at first and then go into chase mode after that, constantly competing with her perpetually busy life. I shake my head at these women so many times, as a guy who has a lots of value, as they are possibly ignoring their future husband for their job/friends/test/etc.

Almost all men start in bracket #1, actively looking to get laid. A huge amount go to #3 once they give up with the sexual marketplace. Men can't live without women the same way that modern women can live without men-we will always have the need to ejaculate.

This is the modern problem with dating. As you can see with the hundreds of thousands of words posted and hours spent on this forum, there is a large disparity between the priorities of the different genders. Women are close to the #1 priority for men, if not the absolute pinnacle. Men are typically a 3-6 priority for women, usually falling well behind her career, her friends, and herself.

I was a victim of blue pill parenting. Or helicopter parenting whatever you want to call it. I hate calling myself a victim by the way.

Anyway, maybe I talked about this particular topic on the ghosting thread. Basically my parents raising me determined that I was never to fail, and they would always try to bail me out, rather than letting me fail, or me failing, then coming to them for help or advise. That was hugely constraining on my personal development. My father had his balls chopped off, and his entire goal was to basically to get me into the best university possible for my whole under 18 life. My dad did not have any friends because my mom wouldn’t let him. My mom ran the house, the finances, had a job, and micromanaged my life.

I remember fucking playdates, and never getting any opportunity to hang out with my peers unsupervised, etc. My mom would also go to friends parents and ask if they had a gun in the house, if it was secured, if a parent would be at the house all the time too. I think she would background check them as well. Hell, my mom would run periodic checks on my dad too. Fucking stifling man.

I got to college finally got a bit of independence but my parents were always fucking showing up at my school, and calling me daily which I think is excessive in a lot of ways. The amount of freedom I got by going to a uni away from my parents was overwhelming and I coped poorly. Anyway, I think I have a lot in common with my millennial brethren.

I don’t have to worry about loans, but still feels like an uphill battle being a millennial because of all these outdated boomer attitudes about how the world worked in the 70s.

I really don't buy women preferring their career and friends over guys. I haven't been involved with one woman that has cared more about both of those together than being with a desirable guy, getting good dick, getting married, and having kids. Don't think this has gone away, I think women are just more aware of who the top men are and are on sensory overload with date app options. That makes them content, validated, and a bit entitled.

You have to think though, with the exception of those that went to 'nam and a few hiccups economically, life as a boomer in the west was pretty much always on the up-and-up. In their worldview things were always going to get better and better, and truth be told, that will end up being true for most of their lives. Where they fail is in understanding WHY their lives were mostly positive going forward and understanding that the variables at play in the world are always changing, and that the world we live in today is drastically different than when they grew up.

Used to be, the juvenile Disney princess fantasy still had the girl in a subservient role to the noble male. Wife to the husband. Queen to the King etc.
