When watching a movie my main focus is also placed on analyzing colour grading and wardrobe quality. I have absolutely no concern for plot, characters, dialogue, acting and, you know, overall sense of enjoyment the movie provides. No sir, fuck the story - what I also want to know if the camera man was focusing correctly or not.

In regards to the "anti-men" talk in Wonder woman, the whole point of that talk is that it's not hateful. It's composed of innocent jokes, flirting and trash-talk with no political messages or resentment based on taking the movie's premise (lost island full of godlike women with lots of knowledge but no contact with men ever) to its logical conclusion, same like some movies say "ok in this movie there's no more sunlight" or "in this movie everyone has become infertile" and take that to its logical conclusion.

Whether a movie is hateful or not is something that even the dumbest people can easily recognize on a visceral level. That's why Wonder Woman had legions of moviegoers leaving the cinemas with a warm and tingly feeling of wanting to recommend it to their friends and family, while Ghostbusters turned out to be a disaster despite worldwide shilling and propaganda in its favor.

To be fair, I remember thinking she was a bit of a twig/wafer myself when she was cast. She sort of still is, she ain't Lynda Carter or Lucy Lawless for example, there were a lot of good looking women with broader frames passed up for her. Her exotic look and charm makes up for it though.

Rotten Tomatoes has overnight pulled the "want to see/don't want to see" rating as part of their "long term strategy".

Guess the long-term strategy is to not let the serfs rate a movie at all. You get a like button and the opinions of the paid far-left shills are good enough to you. The Pravda-News will tell you whether a movie is worth your time.

By the way - the scores of some of those movies were recently something like 80-90% fresh by the "critics" vs 40-50% by the audience.

Turns out that while Rotten Tomatoes is owned by Fandango (which is in turn owned by Comcast & not Disney). Half the 'executive team' of Fandango used to work for Disney...
