Someone should start a death-watch style thread for the next popular (previously male targeting) brand-name to do a flip-flop.

This site is "A guy's guide to marketing to women". From the page I linked:

Quote:Over the next decade, women will control two thirds of consumer wealth in the United States and be the beneficiaries of the largest transference of wealth in our country’s history. Estimates range from $12 to $40 trillion. Many Boomer women will experience a double inheritance windfall, from both parents and husband. This entire website is dedicated to educating marketers on targeting women. And so is this one:

https://girlpowermarketing.com/marketing...get-right/

Forbes is littered with articles on the same topic. Fast Company, HuffPo (of course), the guardian is running articles on it. And apparently, there is, no shit, a global summit on marketing to women:
https://m2w.biz/schedule/

It's presented by PME Enterprises and Google. Who's surprised? *crickets*

I don't think I have ever seen a woman drink Johnnie Walker scotch before. It's a cheap, harsh-ish, blended scotch. The kinda of drink a refined man on a budget would drink. I know they have expensive ones like the Blue, but that's mostly for rappers and pro athletes, etc.

These companies are well on their way to becoming a case study in some MBA program on examples of bad marketing and strategic planning.

I'll stick with Wisers.

< Marketing luxury brands to boomer women who inherit their parents' and their husbands' wealth - that is something I have no issue with.

The issue is with marketing campaigns like these which MAKE NO FINANCIAL SENSE! It did not make sense to go fully woke with video games, with comics, with movie franchises (Ghostbusters, Star Wars etc) - and yet - they did it. In fact it cost them all billions of dollars and they are still doing it!

We have to face the music - what the companies are doing for the globalist trillionaires is what some are willing to risk. Fine - let's push some more shit towards the NPCs and see whether they balk at having their balls cut off. If they revolt, then brainwash them some more, give them more soy and try again in a few years. That is how the globalists re-engineer our societies - IT'S NOT ABOUT FUCKING MONEY - THEY ALREADY OWN THE PLANET AND RULE IN THE SHADOWS.

Money is a zero sum game. Someone wins, someone else loses (unless you've perfected dealmaking). The sort of people who ascend to positions like these don't like to lose, so they don't. Then there are others, like a certain hedge fund manager, who actually have a god complex and use their positions and influence to effect change they want to see.

With regards to rulership - it's not just a trophy you put on a shelf. When you have it, you wield it, and what we are seeing is rulership being wielded. Look at the Davos conference, the Bildeberg Group, etc. When Napoleon dethroned the aristocracy, someone filled the vacuum: the financiers. This is the Age of the Banker, and what we're seeing is what happens when a ruling body consists of bureaucrats and misers instead of warriors and conquerors. This too shall pass, though it may take a while.

RE: Gillette releases new toxic masculinity commercial: "The Best Men Can Be"
I've said it before and I'll try to limit myself to saying it no more than once a week.

The powers that be are all on the same page and they own virtually every brand on the planet.

If you spend your money elsewhere then you are only giving it to them via a different route.

The only thing they care about is the culture war, and while serious backlash like this is good to wake people up, a boycott of any particular product is irrelevant. The powers that be are not harmed by it. Not in the slightest. Sometimes they push too far too hard, or maybe this is part of their plan. We don't know. But people thinking that they can win this battle with their wallets are kidding themselves. The elites have sustained enormously unprofitable business entities purely for propaganda reasons and continue to do so as we speak.

If you think you can beat them by buying a different brand of scotch or shaving razors you are sadly mistaken.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

JW Red is harsh (because it isn't aged very long). JW Black is fantastic, the sweet spot. Not cheap at all. JW Blue is good - but for that price point, a 12 or 18 yr Macallen is much, much better.

Not sure why you mentioned "blended" as if its a bad thing. Single malts vs blends are just different, but one is certainly not better than the other. The single malt craze that started 20+ years ago that made it sound as if single malts were better was a marketing gimmick - in the 70's, blended scotches were the marketing gimmick and if you wanted to show off, you drank Chival Regal. Judge scotch by its age and quality, not whether its blended or not. That's like saying red wines are better than white wines or vice versa - they are different, for different tastes, but one is not superior. The thing about a great blended scotch is that you always know what it will taste like. And if you find a single malt in the style you like, that's also likely to taste the same each time. It's like going to a restaurant you like and getting a dish made the way you like it. Ordering a single malt you're less familiar with is a bit of a crap shoot.

And don't get me started on Johnny Walker Double Black - that stuff is AMAZING!

Yes, when shit hits the fan, women all of sudden start remarking how great and powerful men are (as they need protection to survive). Women are opportunists, not only hypergamous. I'm always amused how women are extra nice to me when they need "my help."

That's the root of all liberalism it seems. Naivety to the dangers that exist out there in the big wide world - something previous generations were much more akin to when millions of men were getting shot to bits in far away lands.

I think that's the underlying aspect that has made this advert strike such a nerve with men. All the lazy twitter rhetoric of 'white men outraged by advert that asks them to be nice to womenz'. But it runs much deeper than that. The advert itself is just a showcase of naivety and non truths; which is itself 'toxic'. Women have no idea of the reality that is, to exist as a man and the values that other men hold one another accountable for.

It was men who 'tamed' the world and made it infinitely more inhabitable for the billions that live in developed societies today. Men invented electricity, domestic heating, sewage systems, the internet and all other manner of things to manipulate the objective reality of the world into being a better place to live. The cost of men doing that is 'masculinity' a mind set which deals in objective realities and the relevant harshness of nature. And it's something men will hold other men accountable for, for the sake of society at large.

Women know they ain't shit in this regard. Show me any fortune corporation founded and/or ran successfully by a woman incorporating 'feminine virtues'. Success over nature is harsh and it requires hierarchies of competence that are harshly policed if progress is to be made. A quick search for top inventions by women is topped by Marie Cure (they can have that one); then quickly descends to 2nd as the lady who invented the ice cream maker..

Here is one of the highest ranked youtube comment before it got deleted:

Toxic masculinity? 43% boys are raised by single women. 78% of teachers are female.
So almost half of the boys have 100% female influence at home, and 80% influence at school.
Toxic masculinity is not the problem. Lack of masculinity is.

RE: Gillette releases new toxic masculinity commercial: "The Best Men Can Be"
Over the last six months I have worked on approximately 30 FBAs (Functional Behavior Assessments) for public school students aged 11-14. These are implemented when students are unable to be a decent human within a school setting. Success rates have to be well under 50% but no literature will admit it. Rot starts at the core and the core begins and ends at home, where there is no guidance.

Of the 30 or so meetings I've had, when a guardian even bothers to show up, it was 100% single mothers. Zero, ZERO, students with his or her dad at home have been referred to the FBA level in the time that I've participated.

Furthermore, home contacts are often required when students' behavior reaches a certain point. I did enough home calls to get a decent sample size, most were single mothers or grandparents taking over the role for their drug addict kid, some were foster parents. Many were single moms with rotating wheel of boyfriends. Home contacts rarely resulted in any change in the students' behavior or academic output.

I called home ONE time and got the biological father on the phone. The kid wasn't a problem the rest of the year. This isn't a coincidence.

Gillette does not make sense, although they do sell a line of women's shaving products as well. I can understand Johnny Walker a little more. They might just be trying to target more female drinkers. Female drinking is up and the more "manly" women are more likely to drink hard liquor like Johnny Walker.

I am ex military. Admittedly, we are a bunch of politically incorrect fuks. However, it brings out the best in men and curbs. . . or at least harnesses the worst.

The left ruins everything, and in one case we were accomplices. The term "white knight" is now toxic but it doesn't change the fact that a real man defends himself, his family and those who can not defend themselves. But being a white knight has changed from protecting people from real threats to ragging on other guys about bullshit offense crimes with the vague hope of pussy or at least social brownie points.

RE: Gillette releases new toxic masculinity commercial: "The Best Men Can Be"
This is blatant propaganda. I don’t understand how anyone could try and play devil’s advocate and defend this. It’s an outright indictment of men — only “some” are doing the right thing? Fuck you, Gillette. Imagine a world where a term like “Toxic Feminism” was thrown around and commercials told women to stop acting like bitches...Picture it: a gold digger starts to run up on a rich old fart and another girl stops her “Not cool girl, not cool.” There would be fucking riots in the streets.

Yes, when shit hits the fan, women all of sudden start remarking how great and powerful men are (as they need protection to survive). Women are opportunists, not only hypergamous. I'm always amused how women are extra nice to me when they need "my help."
