It's apparently a real nightmare. There's virtually nothing you can grab a hold of because the skin flops around so far and if they fall on you it's harder to get out from under than a futon mattress. If you've ever had to grab a really fat person by the arm you'd know what I mean. Your hands are programmed to feel skin then muscle then bone when you apply certain amounts of pressure, but what happens when you grab a fatty is that the skin rolls away from the muscle AND the bone and you're left with nothing but a handful of skin. It triggers something in the psyche. Ever picked up something that was the opposite of what you were expecting and the unexpected tactile sensation makes you violently withdraw? (picking up something really cold that was meant to be warm or vice versa)

When you grab at a fatty's arm and get nothing but skin it's like you thought you were grabbing a human but suddenly realize you've grabbed an alien that just looks like a human. And there's that horrible moment when you realise the alien knows that you know it's not human.

Man, anyone dealing with that sort of crap should be eligible for a disability pension. It's like that sanity counter in Call of Cthulhu that can be permanently depleted by witnessing certain horrific creatures.

"Why Are Dove And Gillette Pushing Us To Lie About What’s Beautiful?"

https://thefederalist.com/2019/04/15/dov...beautiful/

Quote:There is something incredibly sad about women demanding to be seen as beautiful. There is something wrongheaded about the assumption that beauty ideals do not arise in a society but are simply imposed by the fashion business, and that political clout can be exchanged for feeling good about one’s looks. It’s a simplistic view of beauty, a simplistic view of power, and questionable psychotherapy.

The fact that they couldn't even recognize the biases shown in the difference between the ad for men and the one for women, without waiting for the public's reaction, is just staggering. Moreso given that this is a group of what you'd think would be semi-intelligent (I know, I know - I'm reaching) people giving the go-ahead on these ads.

Just goes to show you how blinding groupthink can be. Working in that company must be a living hell.

frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

-1% of their entire grooming division while everything else was growing organically. You have to remember that the population is increasing rapidly in the US and the West due to mass immigration, so the market is hardly shrinking.

https://www.redstate.com/brandon_morse/2...linity-ad/

Quote:The good news is that sales grew 5% organically—that is, without help from acquisitions or currency exchange—whereas the Street was looking for 3.7%. Products for skin, fabrics, and home led the way. But sales of grooming products, including Gillette, slipped 1%, continuing a long string of declines. Margins disappointed.

And obviously the fuckers don't learn. The woke women who are enticed by obese female models are tiny. Most women even if they claim otherwise - would avoid shaving with the same razor than an obese monster. They don't want to be associated with fugly beasts just as men don't want to use the same products that cucks and soyboys use.

Frankly, a 1% drop is pathetic. Even if you account for the missed organic growth, it's still only 6%. For extremely insulting crap of this magnitude and a viral, global reach, it should have been a plunge of 60%.

< That's not realistic. Most men haven't seen the spot and even if they did - they would not have reacted. Consumer brands are highly stable companies who are more affected by demographics in their core markets than wild fluctuations. For them to go 0% would be catastrophy - a 1% loss is akin to a huge disaster striking. I remember in corporate getting livid over tiny misses of numbers - internally likely hell broke out after those results.

That is why they panicked and instantly released this idiotic blond GI spot to placate those sexist misogynists. And the spot was stupid, because it had 5% the pro-male appeal of the 1990s classic spot. They were just pandering like a stupid SJW cunt with blue hair who puts on a Trump hat while trying to smile without conviction.
