-higher concentrations in the north east

- Ivy League Schools all advertise "Need-Blind" admissions. We all know it's a load of horseshit, but all of these schools have endowments large enough that they don't need to charge students any tuition. They can subsist entirely on their interest payments indefinitely.
- Kids who are scoring 1500-1600 on the SAT (or whatever the number is at now. They've changed it so many times that it's pathetic) almost always care about academics. I'm sure there are some who don't consider applying to the Ivies, presumably for personal reasons (don't want to move away, don't have the finances and don't understand the need-blind nature of admissions, etc.) Realistically, those are going to be a minority of students.
- Highly credential-focused jobs are biased to the view that true value of a Harvard (etc.) degree is in the name recognition of the credential. That's actually true, but it's much more important in certain professions over others. There are aspects of the schooling that can be much more challenging than the state schools, but for the most part unless you are going to a school for a specific program, your biggest benefit is that networking and extra plus on your resume.

Based on my experience at the Ivies I'd definitely say that Jews are overrepresented. I never thought about it while I was there. In retrospect it's obvious that the admissions office plays games to get more Jewish students in the student body. I estimate 1/3 to 1/2 the student body was Jewish, which is highly unlikely without massive favoritism.

What I found interesting reading the Unz article was how each year the number of national merit scholar semifinalists (which is the top 0.5% of SAT scores) is roughly the same as the number of freshman spots in the Ivy League (plus MIT and Caltech). Now looking back when I was a teenager, I remember going to the information sessions that these schools had and the way the scam works is that they emphasize how much just having good grades isn't going to cut it when there's so few spots, therefore they have to select on the subjective appraisals of the admissions officers. They claimed that what they were looking for were well-rounded students with varied extracurricular activities and volunteer work, so presumably if you had the grades and didn't get accepted it was simply because other students with similar grades just worked harder for it.

This is really just a smokescreen to let the admissions officers pick the students they want, being allowed to prioritize race-based selection over academic merit. Just based on the bell curve and population size in the United States, the bulk of academically qualified applicants should be white middle-class students like me. But they really want a combination of diversity admits and upper class legacy students (disproportionately Jewish looking at the Unz article). Fun fact, I remember a kid who was half Puerto Rican (and the other half was a white daddy who worked at Intel), who changed his name to Guillermo just to seem ethnically interesting enough to get into MIT under the diversity admission policy. These upper-middle class "minorities" are the ones getting admitted, not some poor black kid living in the ghetto and being tutored by Sean Connery.

What we're seeing now with Asians challenging Jewish control over the Ivy League is really just an attempt by Asians to push in as another favored diaspora. I have no doubt that a Chinese dominated admissions office would behave with exactly the same degree of nepotism. The only hope for a fair admissions system would be for this legal challenge to bring enough of these practices to light that some sort of reform is made to abolish subjective admissions policies.

If admissions were purely based on ability you'd expect it to be 80% white, 10% Asian. 7% Jew and 3% other.

31.28% are Asian,
10.51% are black or African American,

50.86% of our students are white and not multiracial,
(8.41% are unreported)

The thing is, they didn't ask what your religious affiliation was. I guess the Jews hide amongst the white people. Sneaky fuckers.

But it feels more proper to point fingers at the elite Jews because they carry clout in America in a way that is unfathomable for the vast majority of Arabs. Arabs really only run shit (politically at least) in their domains (ie. Saudi Arabia, Emirates region ie. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha / Qatar, etc.). I suspect the number of jews is actually underestimated if you take into account half-jews, quarter-jews and people with Jewish spouses (who often take on their partners Jewish ideas and morality). I'm thinking people like John Kerry and Wesley Clark, who despite their very WASPy names manage to think and act in very jewish ways. That drop of tribal blood is all it takes, really. Madeleine Albright didn't even know she was Jewish until later on in life but that didn't stop her from being a hardcore neocon and Israel - firster up until then.

There are plenty of full Jews, half Jews, quarter Jews - and whatever smaller fraction you want to arbitrarily define as "Jewish enough" to count - that want nothing to do with the nihilistic, degenerate, insane and dishonest collectivist ideologies that far too many self-described Jews choose to align with. Especially those of the post-Soviet Brooklyn variety.

I was thinking about this earlier and it occurred to me that if Ashkenazi Jews represent a disproportionately high number of brilliant minds in "good" fields like science, music, etc., then it's plausible that some number of those brilliant minds will go into less wholesome avocations.

For example, 3 great minds of the 20th century were Freud, Marx, and Einstein - all Jews. I would say that Einstein had a lasting positive contribution, with Freud being a contentious case (his work is now largely discredited despite anachronistic pop culture references, but he served as a stepping stone for more serious and scientific study of the mind by Jung, Adler, the behaviorists, et al.), and Marx being brilliant in the sense of a man who can perfectly articulate such fundamentally stupid and evil ideas. So 1 out of 3...

Then you have counterexamples to the likes of Marx and Engels (who was little more than a bum) in brilliant minds like Milton Friedman and Ayn Rand, who in my estimation upheld the sanctity of those principles upon which the American republic was founded, but from which it so fatally departed much too quickly thereafter.

I do have to admit that all of the Jewish Question discussion on this forum strikes a nerve because some percentage of me is Jewish (though mostly Ukrainian, Polish, Mongolian), so I almost feel it a matter of identity to get to the truth if for no other reason than to square my "determined" inclinations with the destiny and thoughts that I CHOOSE.

Ironically one of the reasons is the lack of traditional masculinity and blue collar/farming culture. They were the Asians before the Asians. Every immigrant group that came to the states, from the first Puritan settlers and including Blacks has been heavily involved in physical work. Even the original Asians worked on the railway construction. On the other hand there's never been Jewish farmers, miners, construction workers or factory workers in America. That means no blue collar pride or country pride. From the very beginning, and driven by the Jewish mothers (the original dragon parents) Jews have been dead set on social and financial climbing.
