Allow me to ramble on this subject with no particular point, but two amusing anecdotes.

She reminds me of the Hispanic girls I knew in college. All of 'em were hard leftists and all of 'em found me and my right wing "Archie Bunker" ramblings amusing. Because unlike white women, these types seem to have a sense of distance from their subject and a sense of humor about it.

One night I went to a party at the house of a girl from Guatemala (now a doctor) and ended up in bed with her best friend, a girl from Cuba. When I got her shirt off, I literally gasped. You would not believe that rack.

I suspect the same is true with AOC. So, for that alone I'm a fan. Priorities, people!

On a more serious note, I think intent matters. AOC and Bernie might be bumbling and inept, but they come off as naively idealistic. That I can deal with. It's the malicious feminists and nasty soyboy lefties I can't stand.

One more thing.

There was a Chilean girl in our college crowd who looked like AOC and shared her politics -- and was very ambitious as well. One day, my super-conservative white working class jock buddy noticed her. So I told her.

Politics be damned, she melted like butter and pleaded with me to set them up. So I did. They got married and remain married decades later.

She isn't extreme at all at the moment. She could be a flag bearer down the line but what she is doing now is cutting a wave through the system during the Trump years and those years will not last long at all.

I was honest about my support and voting for him.
