Let's see....unnamed woman, from more than a decade ago, alleges no actual rape, and has absolutely zero supporting evidence.

Yep, this one belongs in the #MeToo thread:

"The woman, a former model from Poland identified only as Jane Doe in the court papers, said that after agreeing to meet for a business lunch in 2002, Weinstein instead took her to his Soho apartment.

“…Weinstein wasted no time in aggressively and threateningly demanding sex,” the suit alleges. He told the distraught starlet that if she wanted to be an actress she had to give in to his perverted desires."

Heh.
True or not. The problem for ol' handsy Harv., is that he probably did so much shit with these opportunistic chicks, he would not be able to recall any one given instance over another... Rolleyes

Weinstein certainly is a disgusting asshole.

But one of the main issues I have with the demonisation of Weinstein is the sheer hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite who knew about his behaviour for years and yet did nothing. For me this has ruined people like Meryl Streep (who I used to admire) forever.

How do I know everybody knew?

Because I knew, and I'm just some guy in a small town in the UK with zero connections to the industry.

His aggressive, bullying and outright abusive behaviour (oftentimes physical) was well known throughout the industry - and Meryl still called him God. There are countless books from the 2000s that detail his grotesque behaviour in graphic detail (Peter Biskind's Down and Dirty Pictures to name but one).

I even knew about his sexual deviancy; there were rumblings about it online for years. So if I knew, you can be sure Matt fucking Damon knew.

Nobody said a word.

Where was Alyssa Milano then?

This is trivially true, that is "true because it's true". It's like saying earth is round because it's round.

Also, what you think Weinstein was like, is an X degrees of separation. It's like the telephone game: "the objective is to pass around the message without it becoming garbled along the way, part of the enjoyment is that, regardless, this usually ends up happening. Errors typically accumulate in the retellings, so the statement announced by the last player differs significantly from that of the first player."

I'm pretty sure, thus, that your opinion of what person Weinstein is, is pretty distorted of what he really like is. Understand, many players in the game with high stakes have vested interests to portray opponent in particular light. If you keep taking what people say at face value, you'll get burned pretty badly one day.

Always follow the money. This way, you'll learn a lot about true intentions and motivations, not what one person says about another (there's a value to that but reading between the lines is key). That is not to say he's a great man - maybe to the contrary but neither you, nor me knows it. Let us leave gossiping to bored and vapid women.

I like this old lady, she seems cool.

I can tell the presenters agree with her (mainly), but just can't say it. Holly W feigns mild offence, but her choice to marry and have three kids (starting young) means she isn't a lefty at all.

Somewhat ironic.
Not only have women never had it as great today as they have compared to any other known period of human history.
They probably never will again, when human history / behaviour repeats itself.
Yet they still complain & cause a fuss...

The man vying to be the Premier (Governor) of Australia's most populous state has lost his job after being accused by Ashleigh Raper.

Better yet, he was an ambassador for a notoriously man-hating "domestic violence charity" called White Ribbon.

I'm not going to join the "Fuck him" crowd we saw a lot of with Weinstein (and still do see), but there's definitely something very masochistic about men who lead these leftist parties and support these "DV" activists undermining the presumption of innocence. "It can never happen to me." Lol.

I got an explanation.

If you're a feminist harpy and you think every man is part of an omnipresent and all-powerful conspiracy called the patriarchy, and you want to get your jollies by taking one of these patriarch bastards down, you only choose targets that are 1) proximal and 2) vulnerable.

You aren't going to go after an antifragile and tough type of guy who won't only defend himself, but fuck your life up if you go after his.

You're going to go after someone who will fold easy, and give you the easy satisfaction: you're going to go after a male feminist, or at least someone on the left side of the political spectrum.

When you go up against somebody tough, the chance of losing is much higher.

So, can we finally declare this #metoo movement to be dead? Did Trump essentially declare victory over #metoo in this interview?

You're going to go after someone who will fold easy, and give you the easy satisfaction: you're going to go after a male feminist, or at least someone on the left side of the political spectrum.

Some important context notes here, which don't change the "fuck him" aspect of the scandal, but do raise the hilarity and the hypocrisy.

Raper originally wasn't going to say jack shit about this episode. Doesn't excuse it, for reasons I'll get to. She was forced to come out in order to avoid being painted as a slut by one of the old white dude's Parliamentary opponents.

The old white dude in question was at a bit of a year's end party with other politicians and journalists. These sorts of events had certain rules to them: they could get boozy, so everything was off the record or else you didn't get invited (or invited back). That is, your Fearless Fourth Estate that likes to give the impression it holds politicians' feet to the fire gets to drink with them and have a good old laugh about how all the issues that are front page news are so inconsequential in real life. I believe they have these parties because The Fourth Estate and our politicians are basically the same class. They go to the same schools, they go to the same universities, they send their kids to the same childcare centres, and they all drink the same shit plonk.

The old white dude stuck his hand down the back of Raper's dress and down the back of her undies. Fuck knows why excluding a lot of Dutch courage, maybe she got junkkkk that hasn't been showing in the otherwise borderline-anorexia press photos we've had of her in the media. And frankly that's a pretty dangerous risk to take in any respect; some women have the worst hygiene issues on the planet, unless you're out in a meat park and have gone in with a generous hand-dip of Glen 20 you don't want to go touching the merchandise sight unseen.

But she didn't make a complaint. Why? The fucking career, per her own statement. She liked the thrill and power of being a state political reporter, and was worried about losing her access. This is the reverse of the dick-gobbling starlet who wants a better role: her honour/bodily integrity/whatever meant less to her than her career, full stop.

Read, in other words, that if she had reported it, the boozy politician and journalist parties would end, because she'd have broken the code of silence that ensures the plebs keep thinking the media is on their side or isn't swilling from the same trough as the politicians do.

Either way, though, some smartarse of a Liberal politician decided to drop the bomb in Parliament by hinting at what happened in the incident, which is key because accusations made in Parliament are not subject to defamation, i.e. you can't sue a politician for what they say in Parliament about you, full stop. Once the incident was hinted at, the media turned into a feeding frenzy and journalistic cocksucker Ben Fordham got to the finish line first. That's what prompted the Ever So Demure statement of innocence from Raper later on.

Remissas, discite, vivet.
God save us from people who mean well. -storm

RE: The #MeToo thread
I think the Kavanaugh hearing was #MeToo jumping the shark. We all knew that it was coming and it could not have been more public or more obvious. Our current time is about reconciling exactly where the line has moved in terms of gender relations.

A few months ago I mocked the #MeToo movement in front of a guy I know. He defended the movement and I literally told him "yeah, well, you wait and see when you get accused of fake rape".

Sure enough, a few weeks ago a crazy chick wrote his place of work claiming that he raped her at a party. She also claimed that at the time, she was not yet 18 and it was also statutory. So, he had to talk to his work about it. The reality is, the sex was entirely consensual, however, he did treat her like shit after and was completely disrespectful in a way that was needlessly cruel. She was also lying that she was underage at the time-- I know because I banged her pretty often. I also knew she was pretty crazy. So, I let him know her DOB and hopefully that helped.

After all of that he said he still supported #MeToo. I just changed subjects because that is some crazy shit.

One thing I will say though is that fine, this #MeToo stuff is bullshit. But as men, we do have to own up to our cocks. While yes, there is a lot of nonsense and fake rape claims and hysteria-- under it, there is a valid point. For most of human history, we basically have done whatever we wanted to and with women. Maybe not all of us, but for the most part, men in power have done that. For centuries.

The PUA movement that preceded real game was all about using psychological and cultural manipulation to control women. Women have historically been shut out from nearly all positions of official power for centuries. In much of the world, they literally cannot walk alone down a street safely.

That is pretty fucked up. That does need to change and it's not about feminism, just basic human dignity.

This is all wrong.

Women are natural dependents. A fertile woman who gets pregnant will die without the support of other people, and this has so profoundly shaped women's evolutionary trajectory that it cannot be separated from womanhood itself. Women never evolved to act or think independently, so they are REALLY BAD at it. As such, the notion that women should be "equal" is ridiculous. They are naturally subordinate complements to men, and women who didn't behave this way were removed from the gene pool a long, long time ago. In almost all of human history, women never even got to choose whose children they would have, they were either selected by a man, or a man was selected for them, and then it was their turn to submit, end of story.

On the other hand, men evolved to battle hostile environments, large predators, and competition from each other for mates and resources. The male brain evolved accordingly, to think ahead, plan independently, etc, along with the male body, which is obviously vastly more robust than the female one. When men don't hold themselves accountable to reality, they get removed from the gene pool, permanently. Hence, men are actually capable of holding positions of power successfully.

Women's reproductive success depends on how they navigate the social environments of civil societies, which men create to protect women. Acting like men have been oppressive in the context of society misses the large point, which is that men organized a society to keep women and children safe, since they are otherwise helpless. The social contract depends entirely on men having an incentive (access to women to create children) to uphold the rule of law and invest in that society.

But the social contract only works if women cannot choose who their mates are. Right now, Western society is rapidly collapsing because women choose alpha fucks over beta bucks, and the vast majority of responsible men who actually maintain the society are losing their incentive to do so. Why pay 45% of your salary in taxes when you don't get a mate or family in return?

Friends don't let friends think of women as "equal".

RE: The #MeToo thread

Confucius say "He who talk through ass has breath that smell of shit"

Nonsense.

Since the beginning of time men have been at each other's throats for the chance at pussy, while the women sat around from the sidelines judging harshly and only mating with the winners.

Women never needed to fight for anything because a man could do the dirty work for them.

Women don't want to hold positions of power, they want their man to hold positions of power.

Women don't want to win, they want a winner.

Ah..., I was wondering why they'd be so willing to burn one of their own.
I wasn't all that fussed of course. Rather amused to be honest.
It just did not fit with their mode of operations at face value.
Your context adds so much, especially with what we know here about female behaviour.

Heh.
I know men always have to pay for it one way or another. Dinner dates. Marriage. Alimony. Lap dances. Even mere time.
Yet that quick 'cop a feel' by ol' Foley, is probably one of the most consequential in history... Laugh

"What if Harvey walks free?"

"The headline will write itself: Harvey Weinstein gets off. And the outrage cycle will move on."

Hmmm, sounds like a primer to get the public ready when he beats this #MeToo shit in court.

Shall we name that, the "me too" haircut...?

Paging AnonymousBosch.

Damn chicks who had masectamies are saying me too now? (What do you call that, a negative c-cup?)

All I noticed is that she could fit at least 6 dicks in her mouth at once, that thing takes up a full third of her head.
