Also, youtubing in general is fast pivoting from uploading daily edited videos to livestreams which is like a new form of begging/busking the way they keep asking for donations. It's a sociological phenomenon playing out right now. Livestreams have the potential to replace older traditional forms like talk shows, reality TV, audio-only or text-based chatrooms, etc...

I don't understand the appeal of live streaming, the little jingly flashy crap that constantly pops up on the screen is distracting and obnoxious. Sometimes you'll see these videos of people doing something semi-interesting then every 30 seconds the narrator launches into this obnoxious hyperactive 'thaaaankyabrooooooo' catchphrase accompanied by little jingles and flashy pictures overlaying the shit you actually came to the page to see. Its always some irritating fuckstick trying to plaster their stupid personality on top of the subject of interest. The personality adds nothing, at least tell a couple jokes or add something interesting to the conversation. The exaggerated reactions and constant donation baiting are just irritating. The streamer format is leaking into just about every type of video content now. I'm getting really sick of all these ranty mgtow streamers that youtube is so heavily pushing into my recommendations. That and every bonehead with a webcam thinks they're an expert product reviewer/art critic/legal expert/learned philospher/second coming of christ now.

Does anyone make substantive video content anymore? Its all so obnoxious and personality driven.
