Valencia could be exactly what you are looking for - if you need to find a job that could be a challenge however.

I can not comment on the game aspect since I was beta as fuck when I visited.
All the rest seems spot on to me: great weather, nice beaches, fit girls, good food and definitely cheaper than the rest of Western Europe.

I spend 36 hours there some days ago. Cool city, but I didn't really game much since I was mainly there for sightseeing.

The Turia Gardens indeed seem like a solid place to day approach. I saw at least 10 attractive girls chilling by themselves under 2 hours.

In my opinion the locals are friendly towards tourists, but a lot of those girls are (students) and living with their parents.

I stayed at a hostel in the center, and not in a private room. The location was awesome, but it wasn't ideal for bringing back girls. A lot of guys I met there were staying for a week or longer, which I advice if you really wanna 'crack' the city.

I too have to agree with Luisaseco. Having been to Spain more than a half dozen times in my life and going again next week (Barcelona) I don't see non-spanish speaker getting much traction with the local girls.

I go for the food and climate, game is not on the table.

I wanted to add a little updated information for Valencia. My experience with Valencia is as others have suggested that it is much more ideal for picking up tourists rather than local girls. But, it offers a number of benefits that make it a good place for picking up tourists. Tourists don't come to Valencia because of historical reasons so you are finding more women who simply want to meet people.

1. It has a large outdoor and restaurant/cafe culture that is suited for picking up women who are eating alone or enjoying a coffee. You can also meet women walking about or in various places like panaderias, ice cream shops or Mercado Central which is basically a boqueria. As others have said the Turia Gardens is another solid place for meeting women although there is a higher number of local girls here.

2. The setup of the city is such that there are plenty of dating places that can work well. The old town area offers some nice settings for dates at night and walking them around on the cobblestone streets and the general crowds. I found the Kalala Urban Lounge to be a nice bounce spot. Also, the City of Arts and Sciences center is a good place for dates. I actually took a woman here on a night when it was closed and it was still great because you have the place more to yourself to see the architecture and plenty of places to make out and escalate things.

I did not go to the beach in Valencia but I am sure the typical beach game stuff would work fine here as well.

I want to add, there are tons of russian / ukraine chicks in Valencia. I agree with Tiot, locals girls are difficult, anywhere in Spain , spanish women are similar to italian in actituted. Hard to deal, talk with theme. At least for me, had much more sucess with EE pussies around valencia and alicante area.hiden gem is Torrevieja for EE in Spain. Madrid has more of groups from SA, colombian/braz chicks.

Really not much compared to other places in Europe. It has some old buildings, churches and museums but it is really not a known historical place. However, I will say that there is a cool site in Cartegena which is relatively nearby called the Bateria de Castillitos. This isn't a place for game but it is some cool ruins of a fort on the port that was used by various people (Romans, Phoenicians, Cartheginians, etc. throughout the years). It is cool because it is away from all the talking in the city and you have some cool views of the Mediterranean.

I spent around 4 1/2 months there last year and really enjoyed it and the surrounding areas quite a bit (Im still considering buying property there). As a native Spanish speaker (with a Cuban accent ) I got more social play than non native speaker likely would. Pretty much everyone under 50 yo speaks English though so Spanish isn't mandatory

The notion that Spanish girls are primarily accessible via social circle...you definitely have that correct.

There is a bar that on Wednesday nights hosts a meetup where the local Spanish girls come to practice speaking English ...but Im not posting it publicly...too many lurkers

They all speak Spanish. The Catalan isnt as hardcore there as in Barcelona

No, as the other poster said Spanish is widespoken there. It is a university town so it is a good place along with Granada. They also have a fairly vibrant language exchange as well. Of all the cities I visited, Barcelona was the only city where another language was taking precedence over Spanish. But it may be the same for Galicia and Basque Country of which I did not visit.

I speak Spanish fluently, my GF is from Catalunya, and much of my social circle here in the US is Spaniards. I've been there 5 times, know the culture intimately, and have even written books on Spain.

My opinion: Spanish women are hard as rocks.

They're just TOUGH. Muy duras. It's a cultural thing, it's how they're raised. The men actually tend to be softer, more open, friendlier.

I've brought this up in groups of Spanish friends. The men always laugh, agree totally, clap me on the back. The women look embarrassed. Nobody has told me that I'm wrong.

Again, my GF is one of them. I actually have to remind her to soften her tone and attitude sometimes. They do make good relationship material though, because they're pretty reliable overall.

Yes, I love that country for the food, the culture, the history, the friendships, etc. If you have a Spanish girlfriend like I do be prepared for a lot of passion, lol.

But for game? I would NEVER go to Spain just to game, and definitely not solo. It's too damn hard to break into these people's social circles. If you want to try, your best best would be to go to Madrid and try to snag a few chicks via Tinder who've separated themselves from their herds. But you can game 10x more women in Latin America for a tenth of the cost.

What's the latest on Valencia?
I am thinking to spend some time there this year vs Barcelona, which even though I do quite well in its just too damn expensive. I have seen decent size apartments i nValencia for 800 euros, also the city being smaller kind of attracts me (big fish in a small pond thing). I have some friend living there with a local girlfriend so I might be halfway into a social circle already if I decided to move there.

I spoke to PapayaTapper and he has told me good things about the city.

What's the talent in Valencia like both tourists and locals? Can anyone that has spent some time in both cities compare them?

I find the talent level to be quite high. Barcelona most likely has more vibrant diversity, but as you've seen it's crazy expensive comparatively. I've only been to Barcelona a few times, and I'd give the W to Valencia there, but probably not enough data.

I was there last week-end with some friends.
Regarding the local talent, I would describe most of the girls I saw as "Chonis". 90% of the guys I saw are the typical "macarra" (pimp) i.e Tattoos, super skinny jeans/shorts, CR7 haircut and sneakers. The drug consumption is intense for both men and women. A taxi told us that many young girls he takes back home at 6am are sniffing and telling stories like they let guys touch their pussy for free drinks.
We started the night at La Marina, a beach club with mainly Techno/House music and many guiris (foreigners).
We then went to Acuarela which is close to La Marina and in front of the beach. They have several rooms, one of them with Reggaeton music. Here the public is quite young (18-23 ). Funny thing is that all the girls I tried to talk to almost hit me back. Whenever I saw a cute girl passing by I took her hand (gently not in an aggressive way) to talk to her. They all reacted with a super pissed look and shouting at me. I thought I was a rapist. #METOO
On saturday evening we spent the evening back at la Marina. It was full and I saw many foreigners (mainly English). But the ratio wasn't that great. I also saw some stunners in mini skirt and high heels with a photograph, but a local guy told me these girls come for half an hour, do a couple of shots and then post it in IG.
The night we went to a very nice club called L'Umbracle it's near the city of Art and sciences. The view is cool. From there we went downstairs to the MYA club. There are 2 rooms, one with house music the other with Hip-Hop/ Reggaeton. The hip-hop room was packed but the ratio was terrible. There again if you go to the bathrooms you'll see many people taking drugs. Girls were ok but I didn't see anything spectacular. We went back upstairs and tried to open different set, no luck once again. Most of the girls in L'Umbracle are foreigners.

@Julio thats interesting I was there recently too and the local girls that I saw were middle - upper class looking to me? Don't remember seeing any choni (I was mainly hanging out around tourists area and didnt do clubbing there is that).

I agree with Malone that the talent is not bad but the city is fucking dead. Like all shops closed on a Sunday, no one around at night etc. I guess it would be better in peak season but I was not super impressed tbh.

Yeah i saw Chonis only in the clubs I mentionned (especially Akuarela it was Choni land) but during the day it was not the case. The best girls I saw were in L'Umbracle but they were foreigners (looked Scandis)
