It certainly is a form of the latter, and by asserting it isn't, you are quite clearly demonstrating your status as the former.

Regardless of the stupid arguments Australian Aboriginals put up about their bullshit connections with the land, pretty much all land on the earth is currently owned - either by the person with the backing of the state, or by the government with the backing of the people. Land is property. It is their right to quiet enjoyment of that land and the ability to exclude others from that land. Tribal wars over land go back to the stone age.

Theft is to take property from someone without their consent without due process and/or being fully and properly compensated for the value of the property taken from them. Land reform - which even Leftiepedia calls a "deeply political" process - typically involves removing a person's control of the land through legal, show-trial legal, or outright coercive means. It is, in short, theft. Not that given your seemingly black-klansman attitudes you seem to have much of a problem with that, you're just (amusingly) worried that the white nations of the Earth will descend upon South Africa to choke it into changing its approach as the white nations of the Earth descended upon South Africa about thirty years ago to choke it into changing its approach. Or did you think black people ended apartheid all by themselves?

Unless of course you're referring to the Meiji Restoration land restoration which in part eventually led to them being bombed into doing so by the US -- and even there the land reform involved caused mass riots and deep resentment among the poor old farmers who were apparently meant to be "helped" by this.

Mainly because the People's Republic of China, a.k.a. a Communist regime, asserts it owns it for the benefit of all people. Which rather puts a big hole in your suggestion that land reform is not Communist.

Land reform is not unique and is not theft and plenty of countries have gone through it which are capitalistic today.
I don't care about aboriginals all I know is that European settlers will return the land they stole from us. Whites stole the land in the past when they had the power and we will take it back since we have the power now.
Bombed or not Japanese land reform happened post WW2 and it was a success.
Ireland still had land reform no matter how you try to spin it, they did it their way and we'll do it our way.
South Korean Land reform you don't even try to disprove it so I don't get what your point is if there is any.
As for Hong Kong just showing you have no idea what you're talking about you couldn't own land privately even before the Chinese took over and they couldn't vote either.
I'm not worried the West can apply their sanctions which will make our job easier of getting rid of settlers.

This is too easy, western propaganda is easy to debunk https://www.news24.com/Africa/Zimbabwe/z...0180210-2. Zimbabwean land reform is irreversible and settlers are never getting the land back.

Thabo, please respond, would you be ok with Europe expelling every African too?

Cause I like that idea, we can do a swap, every Boer out of South Africa, we'll take them in Europe, and in return you get every African currently in Europe.

"The land belongs to blacks" but will a Xhosa be allowed land in the Natal?
Will the rural bantu not be enranged by confiscation of his chief's land? Will tribalism not dominate once confiscation begins?

The basis of traditional black ownership of land is tenuous at best. Reclaim your land in the Congo, in that your claim for property up north may be stronger than that of lands in South Africa. If your claim to land arises from occupancy of vacant land then your claim to much of the country may be dismissed due to the existence of a prior supercedent right.

Further Thabo, I suggest you revise your rhetoric which at present amounts to little more than the puerile doctrine of the EFF: "muh black land, you white racist! we wuz kangs in Wakanda..."

p.s. I'm not white, please try again
And you're not a South African native. As I've said before Bantu is a meaningless term that nobody uses. Land reform will be done in a constitutional manner to benefit the majority of South Africans.
Nguni are indigenous to South Africa so I don't know all this Congo talk you're blabbering about, we will reclaim our land just fine here.
We wuz'm is hilarious to me I'm not African American so I don't even know what it means and it doesn't affect us. Wakanda was a fictional story surely you realize that.

Let me explain.

You say South Africa is your country.

A country is only a country when it is recognized as such by other countries.

If you begin to expel whites, then we have a new situation, where either the world has to make South Africa a pariah state like North Korea or we have a new world order, a Lex Africanus, where it is now ok to expel people who are not indigneous to a continent. Which means Europe can expel all africans and arabs.

The latter comments being a parody of the decrepit yet pervasive mentality here. School textbooks are replete with reference to Great Zimbabwe, a dull drop on the canvas of civilization - yet we are supposed to extrapolate this minor development and envisage a developed South Africa sans external intervention.

I am South African and bear no ill will to any race, however, I oppose expropriation on the grounds of prudence. Of late, I am increasingly hurt by the xenophobia of my fellow citizens. My family has resided in Johannesburg since 1890, a mere 2 years after its official formation yet I am increasing told by new arrivals to the city from KZN, Limpopo etc., that there is no place for me in this city and country and that I should move to India. Bitterly disappointing and terribly worrying.

ROLFMAO, darling, do you actually read your links?

Quote:Zimbabwe embarked on a violent land reform programme in 2000, taking over white-owned farms to resettle landless blacks.

Thousands of white farmers were forced off their land by mobs or evicted, with Mugabe saying the reforms would help black people marginalised under British colonial rule.

Critics blame the land redistribution for the collapse in agricultural production that saw the former regional breadbasket become a perennial food importer.

I didn't say Mugabe was smart enough to give them the farms back. I said he was dumb enough to throw out an entire class of people who basically knew how to farm the land better than his machete squads, because he couldn't do without them. As demonstrated by the fact that when he threw out the white farmers, the country's agricultural production collapsed.

Quote:"Our economy is struggling, unemployment is high, our youth lack opportunities, too many people are unable to afford essential goods for their families and our infrastructure is stuck in the past," he said.

And the reason for that is because dumb African warlords don't know how to farm sustainably - or at all - and Mugabe threw out the only people who did. Which condemns the country - and the continent to a rolling shitshow for decades of foreign aid, droughts, famine, and tribal wars. You know: Africa for the past thousand years or so.

I can't disagree too much with South Africans wanting to live in an ethnostate.

I want the same thing, so I look forward to following their example in Europe.

Manic, I can't imagine how scary that could be. I'm sorry to hear that.

Thabo, you don't inspire confidence that this is some kind of daring economic strategy rather than.. just a sop to a very angry and irrational mob.

some of your statements seem close to the days of Quattro, of Poqo and Pagad. Evangelical and unfortunately misguided.

Lol Indians secede from South African land I really wish you lot would try that so that you get btfo back to your sub-continent. Screw you too man, you have to go back where you came from, there wouldn't be any Indians in South Africa if it wasn't for Britain's damn colonization.
