This is all good stuff. If I'm not getting criticism, it means no one is reading anything. I'd rather write stuff and have it be discussed than write stuff that no one reads.

That aside...

1. Dantes / Rocha make good points. My views are very "Philly Centric." I rarely leave Philly, and the girls I date / bang all live in a big East Coast city.

2. A Ralph Lauren polo shirt, Sperry docksiders, Everyday Shorts, and a white Apple watch work for me. Would my "style" work in NYC? Nepal? Britain? I dunno. Also, I love Adidas sandals, too. I have regular ones for the shower / pool, and ones with padding to bum around my house in. When it comes to fashion, I'm a really basic dude. I prefer simplicity, and it it's not an issue in Philly. Maybe in other cities it would be. During the summer, you'll either find me in a polo shirt or a buttondown with shorts.

Regarding the girl, it is what it is. I don't really need an explanation for her behavior. It's my fault for letting it go that far. She was just my type physically, so I gave her some latitude. Too much latitude. Rejection falls on me. There was more in there - we played racquetball at my gym, and she hung with my friends. I was a bit surprised by the rejection.

Since then, I put more time into fitness and lost some weight. It also bears noting that I was fairly heavy when I het her. Fatness started to impede my game, so I lost weight. But that's a thread for a different day. Might have been shortness, might have been fatness, might have been bad game. Who knows? We live to fight another day.

Bringing a girl to YOUR gym and around YOUR friends before you've slept with her is kind of presumptuous... maybe it signals how cool and social you are, but to her it may start to accrue "pussy debt" which girls hate -- i.e. "he's taking me somewhere nice, I bet he expects sex now" which can turn off even a "down" girl.

Why does she deserve to meet your friends / see your whole world before she's your girl or you've slept with her?

I'm not gonna knock your three dates, but those dates could be the preview / building anticipation leading to sex and THEN getting your full world and perks. Early dates (if any) should be one-on-one and focused on ramping up the tension and emotions. Once the cherry is popped, then it's like "hey let me show you my favorite country drive / park / gym / people".

I had a buddy who always would bring girls around on first dates to somewhere where his friends were all hanging out so she could see how "normal" he was. A few times the girl AND other guy friends didn't understand the context and ended up picking up the girl out of his hands. She didn't even know she was on a date.

Sounds like you are kind of blending this all up -- why do you need her to see your lifestyle before getting attracted? "Wow he has a great group of friends -- wouldn't want to fuck up getting to know them by becoming his romantic partner or hookup. I bet if I sleep with him all these people I just met will be the first to know." (Whereas once you've banged, a girl is happy to meet your friends typically)

She can get the hints at it, you can talk about raquetball and your friends, but why SHOW her and give her access so early?

This all reminds of an episode a few years back when I was newly divorced seeing a chick I met on tinder. She was the second girl I banged after getting back in the game. With all due respect sir, your "Game itself was not good". Judging by your posts, I didn't pick up any sense of leading or dominance in the interaction with the Tinder chick. An experienced seducer will be able to tell an onlooker what the vibe of the seduction is like, how long you think it will take to take bang her (if you can at all), what type of game will be most effective in completing the seduction (provider, pimp, cool guy, asshole, some combination, etc.). Even men who are fortunate enough to be able to run Chad game have to lead to some degree unless they are dating/banging down the SMV ladder. I'll try my best here to explain the Philly dynamic.

First, its a really insular city, a weird amount of local people still only hang out with their high school friends. The best players in Philly are local guys who have large social circles and have access to some girls that an outsider would never have unless he made a huge effort to day-game.

Most hot girls I know from Philly either A)moved to NY b)married guys that grew up in the area with them

For guys who are outsiders or guys who switched up their social circle, this leaves liberal sluts from the middle of PA, who are generally the most pleasant to date, liberal sluts from all over the country who come here for corporate work, a handful of trashy chick from South Jersey, and a few suburban Philly girls who can't decide on a man. Neither of these choices is very pleasant and many guys dating here will find the city disappointing.

Someone even sent my girlfriend a message about the stuff I post on here. (She knows, and knows that I host Philly RVF forum meetups, too.)

I got a PM that people "know who I am" and that I should stop posting. (No shit, I outed myself awhile ago).

Thankfully, I am self employed with a relatively high public profile. It's no secret that I'm into this stuff. I enjoy hanging out with other RVFers and hosting Trump meetups; MikeCF stays at my house when he's in town. I've been publicly blasted in major newspapers, blogs, and on all kinds of other crazy shit.

However, that's why I don't post here all that much anymore. I spent all summer getting back into shape, rolling, riding my bike, and making cash, but it didn't give me anything interesting to write about in terms of game, other than how to lose a lot of weight quickly through fasting (and how being fat fucks up your game). I'll probably write something about that on my real blog.

Has the forum changed? Honestly, yeah, it has.

Lately, if I post about how I got a girl, it's met with "You have delusions of grandeur." If I post about how I lost a girl, it's "Your game sucks and your beliefs are limited!" I post something relatively generic and it sucks; I post something more innovative and it's "not real."

Normally I don't post anything with an idea in mind, it's just "this happened, might be interesting to share." Win lose or draw. I don't really write with anything in mind, it's just what pops into my head. (Although I doubt anyone wants to hear about how I got a new washer / dryer down my spiral staircase, how I had to shrink my new gi, how I detailed the new car, or the new coffee place I go to every morning. There are updates on my Facebook page, though, and people actually seem to like them. Or maybe I'm patronized, who knows?)

Believe me, I am not above criticism. If my writing isn't being criticized, it means no one is reading it. Without a doubt, I am not God's gift to women. Far from it. I've been doing this for awhile and I still get blown out and rejected more than I like to admit. I can probably tell you more stories about failure than success. But I've also managed to outkick the punt coverage here and there. Every day is a learning experience. Overall, things are a lot better off than they were in 2012. Do I bang dimes every single morning in Dubai? Absolutely not. Do I find myself with decent looking women? Sometimes. Do I live a fulfilling life? Absolutely.

What's also funny is people act like I get paid to write this stuff. I don't. I don't have a game blog or an agenda. I just try and put it all down on paper -- the good, the bad, and the ugly...

As a 5'6" Asian dude I guess the only thing I've got on HM is an inch and not probably where it counts. Luckily it's never stopped a chick from playing if the pants are already coming off.

I do agree with Hank that short of being a billionaire having money, style, and class doesn't mean jack shit when it comes to game. As a successfull but average looking asian guy with an uphill battle I know this all too well. It's easy to get detracted and bitter. And I go through my cycles.

Where I disagree with Hank is his mentality that has him advocating stuff like "3 date fancy dinner bangs" etc... For me the relentless rejections and feeling of invisibility with women throughout my 20s has given me an iron skin when it comes to rejection. For better or worse either I was going to take the black pill forever and go MGTOW out of frustration or figure out some way.

Now in my early 30s I'm seeing some of the fruit of my hardwork and dedication from my 20s. So I do agree with HM here that because I was forced to work on myself more so than others in my 20s in the ill placed hope that it will get me some bangs I actually ended up getting tangible benefits.

I'm making six figure income, learned about fitness and fashion, and in general maintaining a balanced lifestyle that is satisfying. This has given me slow but incremental success with women, especially with women starting to hit 30. Is that ideal? No, but I'm able to get laid and be genuinely attractive to the women that respond.

Next step is to temporarily move to asia (I'm thinking Hong Kong, Singapore, or Tokyo) for a few years. Waiting to align my career opportunities. Luckily as an engineer with in demand skills I have more opportunities than most.

At the end of the day each man's game journey is his own. There are no hard and fast rules. Ultimately I realized that pursuit of sex and hedonism in itself is limited. It's pleasurable and fun, but limited. It cannot give you greater meaning. It cannot heal your self esteem or sense of self worth. A stronger narrative that gives you a connection with purpose through career, education, friends, family, and lastly lovers can give you that meaning. I think in western culture the emphasis on lover (by extension sex life) is over emphasized. But that's just me. If you're a 6'8" chad your views will be quite different and just as valid.

HM is getting blasted hard for this thread but my experience lines up with his, it isn't just Phili. I know the thread has gone back and forth between game and no game but I really want to sum it all up with a few points that made me realize why HM was right.

Hot girls care about stupid shit.

I learned this back in college when I saw goober frat boys get hot girls over guys who were better than them (better game, better looks and more interesting to talk to).

Hot girls live for the quick dopamine rush that comes from doing drugs and being out at bars and nightclubs with their friends. Most hot girls care a good deal about how "cool" they are portrayed socially, it doesn't just stop in high school, it continues well into their twenties. Any guy who can break into their social world and provide value that these girls want gets the pussy.

I used to wonder why so many of the guys I knew in their twenties who were above average looking and making good money in a corporate career were not the ones balls deep in a hot girl every month. Then I started to realize that most of the times, the white collar guy is "like uh boring" or "so not cool!". Now it made sense to me as to why the bartender or DJ was the one fucking hot girls while the guy making six figures doing stuff that requires brains was not having nearly the same level of success.

It is very rare for me to meet a white collar professional who has slept with tons of hot women without having to dish out a good deal of cash, he is always operating from a provider frame. Most of the times it is so tough to shed that image and get sex from hot girls without having to play the dating game.

You have to create a lifestyle that is geared towards getting with hot girls if that is what you want. It has to be one that puts you around a lot of hot women.

I think lifestyle beats all, it is why bartenders, DJs, club promoters and model photographers get to fuck hot girls. See the previous point, hot girls care about stupid shit, not interesting shit. This is why I feel so frustrated that we do not talk about this topic of lifestyle enough, it beats game every time because if you have minimal game, you will always get more hot girls than a guy with good game but whose lifestyle is not geared towards getting hot girls.

I've legitimately thought about taking a break from a nice paying career for a few years to do something like DJing or bartending because the opportunities you have with hot girls is insane. The lifestyles are literally geared towards getting pussy, that is it.

Maybe a guy who works a white collar job can get hot girls but it is an uphill battle, now that is a realization that made my jaw drop.

Most hot girls do not care about what comes out of your mouth. Seriously, their attention span is so fucking short in this social media age. Now a guy with really good game might occasionally get hot girls than a guy with mediocre game but from what I have seen, an excellent lifestyle that is geared towards getting hot girls (bartender, model photographer, etc.) beats good game almost all the time.

You have to really want to fuck hot girls and I feel like sacrifices have to be made there.

I have thought on various occasions, being in my twenties, of taking a break from a high paying career and going for a bartending or DJ gig. I am in my twenties where I feel like it will be okay as opposed to my thirties where I feel like the opportunities really dwindle down and are no longer there for fucking lots of hot girls.

The other final point I want to make on this thread is about age. Going back to HM's posts, a lot of the jobs he listed that have men who fuck hot women are crowded with guys in their 20s. I never brought this idea that the 30s are a man's prime in regards to getting hot girls, at least not for casual sex and one night stands.

Sure I hear a lot of stuff about how guys in their 30s want "something more fulfilling" like an LTR but my point is, even if a guy in his 30s want to fuck lots of hot girls, he would be at a big disadvantage compared to a guy in his 20s. Women will want him for a free meal ticket or something other than quick easy sex. I just do not buy this idea that guys in their 30s have a higher ceiling than guys in their 20s when it comes to getting hot girls for casual sex.
