Accusing Ali of being a homosexual is a low blow, Zelc. I was not always a big fan of Ali in his later days, but he does not deserve to have shade thrown at him almost 3 years after he left.

I've noticed you've been throwing shade at excelsior because he never got called to meet anyone when you have. Look at it this way. You make some very bold claims. That makes some of us curious about who you are. I do not recall excelsior doing anything other than sharing his thoughts. In fact, he left the forum on a bad note despite doing what he always did which was share his thoughts. Do not try and smear his name by implying he was not who he said he was. The best antidote for politics is to actually do politics. Many of the politics aficionados prefer to write screeds on the internet than act. Why? Politics becomes poisonous, embittering, and obsessive when you don't act.

I know this because I was involved in politics (in real life!) for several years. And I witnessed this phenomenon on the left and right.

When I read someone ranting about politics, I just roll my eyes. You have an opinion? Then get out there and do something. No excuses that the time isn't right, blah blah. There was an alt-right rally a few months ago. You have an issue with them? Go to their meetings and change something.

Politics is work, and if you're not prepared to work, your opinion doesn't matter.

To re-iterate, I am not complaining about political discussions in their rightful threads and think that they are very important.

I am complaining about unrelated threads getting polluted with the negativity of the political posters and unwarranted attacks, random jew mentioning posts, changing the topic to preach your political views etc.

It started with Samesu (sp?) coming into every thread and making it so negative and now that he's gone, there seem to a be a hundred less intelligent, less thoughtful mini-Samesus derailing every decent thread.

Can you guys give it a rest already? So what if I thought that Ali was gay or supporting gay rights or whatever? I did not look into the issue of why he was banned and could have considered myself that it was unlikely anyway.

I was new here back then, suddenly Ali gets banned. I take a look at his last post - see a gay flag. Thought to myself: "Maybe that's why he was banned." Forgot about it. Mentioned it years later here.

Now did I double down on it? "You said it! You are scum! I knew it!" Only because some guys here disagree on some points with me now use it as a justification for rampant attack.

I think the solution is rather simple, we need a rule that if you make an argument or assertion you need to back it up with either logic or objective evidence. We should call guys out who don't do this and in extreme cases guys should be banned when they fail to back up assertions.

If you want to give an opinion or speculate and you have no evidence, fine, just admit that it is a mere speculation. I used to participate in a sports related forum in which we were really big on backing everything up with evidence and logic. It worked very well and still works there. I don't see why it shouldn't work here.

I am one of the guys who is turned off by all the politics in the parts of the forum that aren't meant to be political, especially some of the name calling I see going on. It shows a level of weakness and insecurity. A mature, rational person does not insult.

The forum as a group and collective mind will continue to evolve as our culture evolves. I joined in 2014 and became active in 2015 so I missed the game/travel heyday but its gone in lockstep with culture. 2006-2011 "wow, the real world is different than I imagined, whats going on? This anything goes stuff is fun" 2012-2013 "Tinder is amazing. Dating is wildly fun. Politics and culture and feminism? Yah, cool, lets plan a trip to Latam." 2013-2015 "Ummmm, I'm kinda uncomfortable with developments I'm seeing. This culture is becoming fatalist and adversarial. I might want off this ride" 2015-Present "Step right up, come one, come all to America the Carnival where anything goes and you'll ride until you puke." My brief synopsis of changing tones over the years across the culture.

This place is comprised of individuals who coalesce around common ideas and events. What people forget not long after joining is what brought them here. Pain, confusion, bewilderment, lack of understanding, a desire to travel more efficiently, etc. Once the toothpaste comes out of the tube all bets are off for a bit. You realize all those socially unacceptable thoughts that you had in meetings, walking down the street, at a bar, and so on are actually permissible here and you divulge sentiments you'd never dare say in public. It becomes like a VFW bar for fellow travelers in this strange culture. Its "liberating" to be in a "safe space" for a bit.

However, get it out your system, adjust and move on. Perma nihilism or political speculation about "the west" is wasteful at best. It's interesting, we live in interesting times, but its not meaningful.

Something in your personal life caused you to sign up. It wasn't Hillary Clinton or the Huffington Post. It was a deeply personal need. Whether it was a problem, a place to express your thoughts, or how to gain muscle, that was the impetus.

Self improvement is fun. Nihilism is fun for five minutes on twitter, it aint a lifestyle. Scope creep happens to everything but if you keep the beginning in mind, you'll get more mileage out of this place. And most importantly, hopefully you remedied whatever brought you here.

That being said, once you sort it, either help others solve their problems or go about your business. Some dudes have their identities tied up in RVF and incase you didn't notice, their is only one persons name on the URL. Southwest Airlines, which happen to have the worlds greatest female pilots as evidenced by the recent heroics in philadelphia, teaches its customer service people to focus on behavior and not the person, its extremely effective.

Ultimately, Roosh has to decide where he wants to take his Brand. It seems he's satisfied his needs for notoriety, sexual conquest, travel, and pushing the limits of personal development.

I myself unlocked the fatal flaw in my personality which led me here which is why I rarely post anymore. It wasn't culture, feminism, or anything else. It was a deeply ingrained learned habit that the NPD Family thread shined light on. CLICK. Holy shit, there's the behavior I need to change. And I did. I shared with others my mental framework of the issue and am working through it.

The worlds most capable people generally all understand what we talk about here. However, they take that understanding and apply it covertly. Crash course, not a lifestyle.

Tl;dr, Remember what brought you here and ask yourself if you're just bored at work or actually moving yourself forward by participating in the conversation. Rule #GFY-If you want to attract attention to yourself, do it in a positive manner. Don't sulk in the corner.

PS-The biggest value you get out of this place is meeting others, it affirms a lot.
