Most of the homeless suffer from one form of mental illness or another. I think trying to rationalize with them is pretty moot.

Some do, some don't. Still, if we're to accept that a transsexual isn't mentally-ill without question, then neither is a homeless person. Their viewpoint is equally-valid.

12. Big Internet melt-down over "Sitting While Black". Protests planned.

I know that there is a lot of "serves SB right" gloating going on, but no one knows why the manager called the cops. Nor have the body cam images from the cops been released. Or the security camera footage of the SB.

It is strange that this is so common in Philadelphia. I have been able to get away with not ordering anything in Moscow and in Denver while working on my novel for hours simply by virtue of being far away from the register or the cafe being full.

Yet another example of how not to fight SJWs.

Here's what should've happened:

1) Men arrested for loitering/trespassing

2) SJW outcry

3) Starbucks CEO "Our employee followed our procedures to the letter; the men had not made a purchase and were trespassing on our property. Our policy will not change."

Starbucks is going to lose FAR more because of this stupid SJW cave-in than it would have standing firm. No 15-60 year old white woman is going to a homeless shelter with a Starbucks sign.

It's easy for companies like Google and Facebook to play the virtue signaling game.

No vagrant is going to enter the secure buidings where the employees are working. Their profits selling datas are so huge that they can afford to hire an army of counterproductive diversity officers. Also this companies have a monopoly position.

Starbucks on the other side has physical locations accessible to everyone, no monopoly, and it's easy for them to enter a downward spiral if they adopt the SJW ideologies.

The toilets are dirty -> the clean customers don't come back -> the toilets get dirtier -> the best employees are leaving -> the toilets get dirtier -> etc

There was a recent incident that is compared to the Starbucks one in Germany.

They were a bunch of African immigrants to Britain who started throwing food around and disturbing other customers, so KFC called the cops on them.

Oh - and it is illegal to film a cop in the line of duty without his permission in Germany, so they used the lady.

Also note how they called the cops racist, but it did not work and no one gave a shit. For this to work then you need a larger black minority and 50 years of slavery indoctrination - will work in the US and in Britain. They could have done the Nazi slogan, that would be slightly more effective, but not really in this case.

Personally I had one scene once where two of my buddies - both academics employed in corporate management positions - were starting to get boisterous and loud in a fish-restaurant chain. Yes - in Germanic countries being loud and obnoxious can get you evicted. The manager told them that they must leave, take their food outside because otherwise they would have to call the cops. One of my buddies is even Muslim, but no one tried to scream racism. We just left, because we are not stupid assholes.

The racism bullshit of those super-rich black guys not wanting to buy a bottle of water - that won't fly in most countries in the world. You need brainwashed people and a brainwashed system for that.

Two days ago Philadelphia Magazine ran an article on what Starbucks' "anti-bias training" was like. According to the headline, it "missed the mark."

But get ready to laugh: The training was conducted by white people, which left employees scratching their heads. Guess Starbucks felt that minorities weren't qualified to talk about being minorities. From the article:

"According to Jamie, the training leaders were three white women and one white man; a woman of color spoke briefly at the beginning of the session but then left. “If you’re having people of color dig into their racial identity, why have non–people of color address us to start things off?” he said. “Not that the white women weren’t credible. But if you’re trying to be sensitive toward us, why would you do that?”"

And I would like to check out the connection between the manager who is supposed to be a full-on SJW.

In addition that is what the guys above also get wrong - they always repeat this 1$ settlement from the city. They probably added that in order to divert the attention from the fact that Starbucks had indeed paid them an undisclosed sum - likely millions.
