Under American law, no, not legally. It takes more than that for probable cause. The cops found her, talked to her, observed for guns or evidence of weapons and waited to see what would emerge from her responses. They got no statements from her that indicated she was about to or had committed a crime, so there was nothing to add to the initial reports.
No PC, but that doesn't mean there was nothing else that could have been done - a heads up to YouTube security about a potential nut job lurking would have been legal and logical. Not sure if that ever happened.

I agree - the cops when found a gun should have at least questioned her more and warned Youtube that a crazy woman may be up to no good. Youtube could have taken some precautions for a week. It's not as if Google cannot afford it.
When family is concerned that a person might do something and the cops find that person in the vicinity of the target with a gun, then it is probable cause. At the very least reason enough to temporarily confiscate her firearm and potentially even drive her back to her father. I know that she is a grown woman, but credible threat of violence/potential terrorism by a family member should at least be taken somewhat seriously.

We know that Youtube and Google are evil, but that does not mean that we condone going to their offices and shooting up folk. The true movers and shakers won't be affected by it anyway and will just use this to infringe more on the wrong-thinkers and the second amendment in the US.

Ireland is an extremely tiny island country, and 92.4% one race/culture. Not really a fair comparison IMO.
