Not intended to be a flippant answer.

Perhaps a reasonable gay guy?
You get the stereotypical pedantic nature & neatness of the feminine side.
While the guy is still a guy at the end of the day.

Also, not likely for a 'Metoo' situation to occur.

Adding a woman to the mix (if everyone works closely together or in the same area) will change the dynamic considerably, especially if everyone already gets together like bros and working together is fun and there is a good masculine environment.

Add one woman to that environment and they guys will stop being bros and start being competitors.

If it's strictly a professional work environment, then adding a woman probably won't make a difference.

Yep.
Spent two years at a public boys school.

All the guys could just be themselves & behave normally without having to impress the girls or neuter their behaviour so as to not upset the girls sensibilities.

RE: Female Employees
What's funny is I currently have a woman working for me. Hot, but a bit older in her late 30s...

She's missed two weeks of work this year (we're only three months in!) because of her birthday, hobbies, and her dog. Now she's "sick" and "working from home." While "working from home" sounds great, I need people in my office. (Otherwise you get this -- "I don't have a printer! I don't have a scanner! I don't have stamps or envelopes!" Yeah, we have all that shit at the office, which is why you're all required to be here and not your couch.)

She also "doesn't like" one of my major projects and basically said she refuses to work on it because it's "too stressful", while at the same time complains about not making enough money (the stressful shit is annoying but it pays well). Meaning I have to either accommodate her to work on the easy stuff that she likes and hire someone to do the hard but lucrative stuff, or just hire someone who is capable of doing both. I'd like to do the latter.

That's why I'm interviewing in the first place. She started off strong, but lately it's just been typical woman bullshit. Way too much time off, complaining, inconsistent product, more interested in social media than furthering my projects, etc. I don't care if people are social during the workday, just keep our projects moving along. She wants to get paid top dollar but also wants to focus on just the easy projects that I could hire a high schooler to do. However, if I hire a male, my team will be all male.

That said, everyone else is making good money, working easy hours, and spending time doing non-work stuff. Hell, I spent today with one of my partners and a client at the gym, at a restaurant, and then at the strip club. We had fun and did a ton of good business (while, early in the morning, doing the stuff she's "too sick" to handle). One of my employees, a male, is actually capable of working from home so he gets that privilege.

So, I'm wondering if it's a gender thing or just a bad hire. I've had some really fantastic women work for me. The hot younger ones usually get married, pop out a kid, and either don't work or find something easy and part time (good for them, but bad for me). However, my last three hires were females, and it's been entirely the same pattern.

But maybe it's more me than them?

May also get a diversity bonus if the client base is heavily female or liberal... Although I don't know if that's the case.

Me, partner, junior partner, and paralegal. That's 4 men. Plus about 90% of our clients are men, minus one major client who is a woman owned business. All the men are masculine, conservative, Christian, Trump supporters, etc.

We currently have one female on the team, who I wrote about. Of course, she's a liberal. More importantly, she's been out since last week. Her role was to manage the women owned business client, but lately it's been "too stressful." (I understand why she gets upset - they send constant emails, expect responses in like 20 seconds, and don't understand the concept that not everyone is sitting on their phone answering text messages all day and night. Which is why I hired someone to manage it).

I'm wondering if a beta male would be better for the project. The client definitely likes her, however, she has pretty much given up on the project because it's "too much stress."

RE: Female Employees
In the OP, you make a slam dunk case for not hiring women, ever.

In the followup on this page, you post a case study FROM YOUR OWN OFFICE of why you should never hire women.

What will it take to convince yourself, Hank?

Also: Some points you missed.

- Crying in the bathroom because someone was mean. (ie, criticized her work.)
- Hostile work environment!
- Fucking someone in the workplace and that drama.

FFS, Hank.

RE: Female Employees
If this was most of the countries in the world, then it would be a woman for that position.

But since it is the US, then it is a very tough choice. It will probably be tough to pick an actual Red Pilled girl, but maybe you could manage that.

I guess that in the US the advice by oilrig is the best - a girl coming from a non-spoilt culture would be good. You cen even pick a fresh Eastern European or Russian import, but of course any really cute girl coming from there will experience such a rise in her market value that I don't know whether she will be a good worker.

Any woman can sue you for sexual discrimination without any proof whatsoever and it costs 150K just to walk into court.

A PC white girl will sue you just because she wants the drama or the affirmation by her girlfriends.

This happened to a friend of mine. Stupid bitch receptionist who everybody hated. Destroyed his life's work and his family. He died of alcoholism.

I've hired dozens of women in the past, but never again. The risk is insane.

Do I hire a serviceable female, or a red pill male (which would make my current team basically all male).

And you got your answer, so it's of little consequence to me if you didn't like it.

See how many qualified candidates apply and the decision should be an obvious one. Attempting to navigate this way by focusing on your own perceived ideal outcome is to miss the point entirely and a recipe for disaster in any workplace. It's how you end up with someone you're desperate to fire. You're essentially playing identity politics like the liberals who need to fill a company quota, and I think your approach is the wrong one. But what do I know, I've only hired and terminated hundreds of hourly and salaried employees over the past 10 years.

Yes, even when they are exactly the woman in the workplace, they are describing.

I think that is normal unless you hire a younger female worker. But all the studies show that even the most ambitious burn through until their mid 30s. Either they get married, have children and tone down or they try the same metric with less work.

The number of those who are happy dedicated and balanced in their early 40s while being childless and unmarried - this is such a tiny part of the female professional population there is no sense looking for those.

I noticed you considered a fat woman.

Worst idea of all. Fat people aren't fat because they are highly motivated individuals. They are fat because they are lazy. They will fall asleep and snore sleep apnea all throughout the business.

The only time you hire a fat person is if they are Samoan and you need a rock wall built and have no time constraints or you just wanna have a guy on staff who's good at barbequing.

Aloha!

RE: Female Employees
I'm trying to piece together all the elements that led to Hope Hicks leaving the White House.

Heard praise of her by the one Fox News correspondent (although a potential 'white knight'...).
Ivanka & Sanders have sung her recent praises.
By these accounts Hope Hicks was diligent at her job & loyally stuck with the Trump campaign & administration for a good two year period.

To be honest, if someone said they were leaving politics (especially nasty D.C. politics) for the 'sanity' of the private sector; can't say I could blame them.
Yet all the same.
Did this 28 year old, seemingly career driven, career focused chick, not have the backbone to grind through the tough trials?
Is she too thin-skinned for the likes of politics?
Did any fraternization on her part through a spanner in the works?

Would it have been better overall for Trump, to have hired an older guy of at least 35 years of age, of a tougher mindset & of that much more life experience?

The way the White House leaks, I'm sure we'll find out more.

I always prefer hot, female bartenders. A lot of places will have some dude bring the food out from the kitchen, give it to the hot bartender, then she brings it to me. This is how it should be.

I don't want old, busted women serving me drinks or food, and I certainly don't want a dude serving me.

Smart bars know this, but I've seen bars that couldn't hold onto a hot barstaff give up and settle for ugs and dudes.

This is generally true, but one of the most memorable food-service experiences of life involved a male waiter who had great people skills and called me "boss."

There was nothing remarkable about this particular day drinking episode, other than the great customer services, and yet it's stuck in my mind ever since.

I suppose this is apropos...

https://www.phillymag.com/foobooz/2018/0...legations/

Basically, one of the best chefs in Philly is getting a #metoo allegation. Because people joke around when working in kitchens.

"During Fernandez’s time at Mulherin’s, she and the other hosts kept a written log of times they were harassed by their male co-workers. The log, which was shown to Philly Mag, includes items like “A manager used a menu to flip a host’s skirt up,” “One of the hosts was holding a" lemon and a server said ‘Don’t worry, it’ll fit,’” and “Chef said ‘Dang girl, mmmm’ directed at the way a host looked. When she addressed it to a manager, he told the host ‘he’s a creepy, old man and won’t stop.’”

What's funny is I've never met a male who kept a written log of all the fucked up sexual shit females say...
