I do understand that is the debate. However, I'm not sure if I agree that non-whites can't be culturally American. Some brown dudes and black dudes are more American than I have ever seen. American culture has been transformed by many groups. What you are talking about is white American culture, which although similar transformed from many white cultures before hand.

I'm not making a value judgement either. I mean heck, my mannerisms and behavior are very white American. So are the other brown guys I grew up with.

I'm just surprised we are just going that close to straight up racism because if racial lines are the case, black people are excluded as well.

I'm not surprised by any of this really but it's not me that you have to convince.

The political pendulum will always test those social and political boundaries. You have both sides advocating for extreme politics and actions these days.

Either way these two extremes on the left and right have no power until they gain control of the state itself through an actual political or military coup of the power structures in the U.S. which consist of the military, financial, civil authority (police etc..), and mainstream media platforms.

The rhetoric is just going to ramp up farther and farther until one side prevails (not likely) or cooler heads with actual power prevail (likely) and create a compromise that's amenable to the majority of the population.

There is no compromise on the far left or right though so I wouldn't be surprised if the more desperate members of these groups start shooting it out at some point somewhere. Antifa vs alt right is just one small step towards that direction. I can see it blowing up into something larger if let's say BLM or antifa actively crashed an alt right pool party with guns or vice versa. I wouldn't be surprised if some elite with actual power, an agency, or a real fringe subset of these movements tries to provoke such a clash with false flags to bring the hammer down one way or another.

I don't see mass approved violence as likely though. There's a lot of tough guy talk but a lot of these movements on both sides enjoy freedom too much to do real time in prison or risk actual death for themselves or their family members.

I'm not sure people are advocating for more Indian immigration. Let's be honest, politics is about self-preservation too... and letting in Indians, Hispanics, Africans, and yes even Western Europeans is mathematically just a mistake.

I would slightly adjust the bolded to say the general sentiment is that diversity creates chaos, irrespective of the mix of races involved. Most of us here just so happen to be white, and we live in predominantly white countries, so obviously in our particular situation it comes down to whites vs non-whites. I can assure you that if you superimposed mass brown/black/white immigration unto China the yellow people there would express sentiments very similar to ours here on RVF, except much more vigorously. Hell, blacks in Africa can't even abide minor tribal differences between themselves.

All of this is to say what is happening in America is not unique to whites and doesn't occur because whites are an evil race particularly accursed by malignant racism whereas everywhere else the vibrant people of color coexist peaceably in multiracial utopias. Whenever you have multiple ethnies occupying the same space you will get ethnic conflict. "White nationalism" is an inevitable consequence of whites becoming increasingly crowded out in their own territory and frankly if whites weren't so cucked white nationalism should have exploded much earlier and more intensely back when racial dispossession was still just a specter on the horizon.

I disagree. What matters is solely the quality of immigrants and their quantity, not whether they entered the country legally. If Democrats regain control of government and suddenly change immigration law in a way that allows in the legal inflows of millions of genocidal Somalis, do you think that would be better for the "average American" than if a million hot Korean chicks illegally entered the country? One guy, who was a small, nerdy Indian guy, introduced himself to me telling me he was from America. As he spoke to me with his subtle Indian accent, I gave him a look that must have signaled to him that I knew he was full of shit because he then corrected himself, "I am originally from India." Yea, of course you are is all I could think, and how sad it is that he has to pretend to be something he is not and will never really be.

This difference in culture is something that is significant and it really does separate people even if they might be politically ideologically aligned. As for your ad hominen attacks against white people for acting ghetto or soyboy behavior, its honestly preferable to the unpleasantness of Indian tourists I have come in contact with in Bangkok during my time here. The Indian tourists I have met must be middle class to be able to afford to travel, so I would hate to image how the lower class Indians behave.

But I do have more kinship with white leftists than I do cobra. We speak the same language, we grew up in the same culture, we eat the same foods, laugh at the same jokes. We have the same pet peeves, the same standards of etiquette and decency. There is more to culture and kinship than political beliefs. My family are all huge leftists. My mom once said she had to pull over to the side of the road and cry because the Trump administration was just so difficult for her. But it's insane to say I have less kinship with my family, who I spent decades of my life with, than a guy who comes from the other side of the planet, just because he and I agree about marginal tax rates and the role of women in the workplace.

If there was some sort of tribal war going down, you would rather have a 1000 Brooklyn hipsters posting #MeToo hashtags behind you just because they happened to be white rather than another forum member that shares the same values and worldview you do?

There indeed is more to culture than just political beliefs. What culture and pet peeves do you share with the common white leftist? That there's a persistent rape culture where a guy having clumsy game = sexual assault? That we all need to start drinking free-trade coffee and adopt vegan diets?
