Eh. I dunno. Archer only simped to her more recently in the how. Prior to that his behavior towards Lana was anything but "nice guy" or pedestaling. He's slut-shaming her in the exact episode that OP used a clip from...here.

You should watch the show. It’s 8 seasons in and hasn’t deviated. If anything, the characters become more outlandish (at times) compared to their previous portrayals. And they already have a sensitive/vulnerable type in Figgis, who tends to be the butt of Archer’s jokes, reinforcing Archer’s alpha status.

In fact, Figgis could be seen as the polar opposite of Archer (but well hung by all accounts). In episode 5 of season 6, the episode ends with Cheryl having Krieger in a headlock, Pam choking Ray from behind, Lana throttling Archer, and Cyril masturbating in the corner (textbook Incel/Beta). There are repeated demonstrations of Figgis’ hopeless marksmanship (a metaphor for his lack of success with women) as he lays down “suppressing fire” without any intended effect, whereas Archer is a master marksman with little to no practice, as touched on in the OP.

It's somewhat of a recurring joke, with Archer usually egging her on the most asshole-ish way possible.

Me, I’m a bit selfish and pin her up against the back of the couch so she has to crane her neck backwards to get a glance.

Im somewhat helpful by locking an arm around her neck for some support however.
