They build nothing, and tear down everything, and the current state of society is the end result. I'll say it again, if the Black Community is going to culturally-appropriate freely-embrace Jewish Socialism just as worldwide society is finally-losing its patience with it, then they'll be swept away with it, and, ironically, it won't be their Race that eventually-dehumanised them in my eyes, but their Preaching Communism. Thinking more on this, the fact we have so many Rich Black Kids at University LARPING as People's Revolutionaries seems to suggest racial inequality has lessened: the Che Guevara t-shirt / Karl Marx worship / champagne socialism thing was always a Painfully-White, Rich Kid thing to do in the past. Frankly, it's kind of sad to see the Black Community - usually the arbiters of 'cool' - freely-embrace being that fucking lame.

Interesting tidbit about activists like Rosa Parks or Martin Luther.

Both were Communist party members and also all NAACP leading members were reform Jews up until the 1970s:

So you are basically saying that the past and our cultural heritage must always be judged by a contemporary lens based on the currently accepted social mainstream. Which, if you haven't paid attention, is constantly changing. Do you really believe that your/our current perspective will be valid 50 or even 100 years from now? Do you truly think that you are on the very forefront of social/emotional/cultural development and that you are establishing a status quo which will be declared immutable and won't ever change in the hundreds and thousands of years to come?

Because if that is our guiding principle then there won't be ANY of our monuments, any of our paintings, any of our art, any of our culture left in a few hundred years from now. It will all have been destroyed by a small alternating group of rabid cultural activists who believed they had the right to impose their POV on the rest of the world. Which incidentally puts them right into the same camp as Islam.

Statues are built to remember iconic members of the society. Not dissidents who wanted to fight to keep slavery.

You don't see Adolf Hitler's statue in Germany, although kids are taught about their history. Having such statues is a shameful reminder of our bloody past.

Stonk something like 95% of the soldiers fighting for the confederates didn't even own slaves. Only the very wealthy southerners had slaves, and 40% were jewish.

And it's far more than just the Romans...Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Islamic world. Thousands of Unesco World Heritage Sites site would be destroyed: the Parthenon, the pyramids of Giza, the Hagia Sophia, etc. The history of architecture is inextricably tied to slavery.

Should we also destroy the Sudanese pyramids? They were, after all, built by slaves. Most liberals would say no, stating that the African pyramids are an important source of racial pride. Thus, a claim is revealed: slavery is an acceptable practice...except for white people.

Big picture this is only a piece of the leftist agenda and doesn't directly impact us, but damn if it doesn't enrage me. They are essentially dishonoring my ancestors and spitting on their graves. The statue honors the brave men who defended their homelands, as all real men should. It really shows such a shallow understanding of US history as well, the civil war was ironically the thing which gave the US a true national identity. It had been primarily regional and state driven before it.

We all know diversity is doing it's best to destroy that national identity today though, with which this retconning of history goes hand and hand.
