I never claimed they were 8s or 9s.

Welcome to Asia. There are no natural 8+ in the whole hemisphere. With makeup, diet, salon and fashion consultations Asians go from 6-9.5 very fast. Look at Tokyo for reference.

But to be fair, keep in mind, none of those girls even know what make up / cosmetics are. All of that shit makes a huge difference no matter where you're from - Korea, USA, Europe, etc

Most of the photos of NK girls here and elsewhere, are with them with their hair tied back and wearing clothing that is meant for men. (With the exception of the flight attendants and uniforms with skirts). So North Korean girls are usually in military & police uniforms, jackets/suits, sports gear, etc. When women wear men's clothing it usually knocks down their attractiveness by a few points.

When you are initially attracted or unattracted to a girl you don't know and make your judgement just on appearance or a photo...always pay attention to what she is wearing and how her hair is. That in itself will be a big factor....not the only thing...but a decisive role nonetheless.

Take any really hot 8 or 9...put her in a formal suit and tie (and tie her hair back) and suddenly she doesn't seem so interesting anymore.

The change isn't so big for the second girl. A 5 goes to a 6 with makeup(or a 6 goes to a 7 depending on the body)

The first girl is a good example, though most of the change is in the eyes, it has a dramatic change in the balance of her whole face.

Three is just scary... never rely on photos.
