The way people lumping Southeast Asian countries together using the world SEA like they're the same country get on my nerve some times, since southeast Asia has a lot of countries and no culture is the same.

Got it, thanks! I was having lunch with someone and I confused the word with "content". Just wanted to make sure they were not the same.

Problems on the upcoming Star Wars cash grab, er, the Han Solo standalone Star Wars movie. The directors have apparently both quit, three weeks out from the end of shooting. And it is over "creative differences".

“There are a number of reshoots for the film. The scripts are very funny but the action set pieces and acting are thought to be weak by Kathleen Kennedy,” they said.

One wonders what exactly you would expect when you hire a couple of comedy directors for a serious-ish science fiction film. Similar stuff happened on Rogue One, courtesy of that silly woman Kathleen Kennedy, and now it would seem she's determined to give us another Star Wars film with drab, greyscale color grading and an entirely forgettable cast.

I totally understand the stuff he did with stings and the pain scale, working his way up to bullet ant (not sure why he skipped Japanese Giant Hornet, guess the budget didn't cover a trans-Pacific flight), but fucking with Black Widows? For the past few weeks on an underpopulated tropical island just north of the 20th parallel I've been soaking up some sweet midday summer-solstice sun. Started out at 8 minutes on a side and worked up to 13 minutes, which is about the safe upper limit of what my pasty white Hibernian hide is meant to take. My test is up already; I can feel it in my bones and in my bone.

Also -- squatting deep at the gym; taking late afternoon open-ocean swims; grilling quality ground beef on the Foreman grill (yeah I think the vegans can smell it a mile downwind from my condo!); and drinking nothing stronger than an early afternoon cup of joe brewed from beans of that neighboring island.

I call this getting right with God. Most do not talk about this.

Sounds like heaven to me Joe. This summer from mid July to Mid August I will be living on Lake Michigan in a tiny beach town going for a swim every morning, heading into the neighboring farms and picking a lot of fresh blueberries and buying lots of organic meat/vegetables. I will lift 4-5 days a week and do some cycling.

I did this a couple years ago and went completely recharged until December.

These black widows are in Dalmatia and each year tourists end up in hospitals. What tourists do is they walk around the islands or near coast (where there is no roads or where vegetation is prevalent in the form of bushes) with shorts and sandals. As these paths are basically home to spiders, sooner or later tourists will get across them with their inadequate clothing.

Also regarding tourists, there is recurring joke regarding Czech people here. People here have black humor jokes where they joke around how many Czechs are going to die this summer.
For some reason they are one of the rare tourists that totally disregard safety and proper conduct when climbing high mountains/hills near the coast.
Example: shorts, no water, no food, sandals without straps and deciding to go hike on Biokovo. Nobody know why are basically just Czechs doing that shit.

Very high dosage of vitamin C, A and higher dosages of E will likely make you survive this, but I still am not going to test it out.

The nastiest viruses out there in the world - subforms of Legionnaire's disease with close to 100% mortality rate were known to have been treated by staggering 200.000mg of vitamin C per day, but I am not going to test that shit out either. Also it took the guy more than a week of daily 200.000mg until he got titration - diarrhea reaction that his body had enough vit. C.

I think if I had that, then I would rather take vitamin c infusions.

I've seen people using it for a while, it's just a filler phrase really.

On the other hand, ex RVFer the G Manifesto makes pretty funny use of it, he's definitely the reason that forum members use the phrase, or calling people 'soy' and shit like that.
