My sense is that you are very thirsty for not just a woman's attention but also the emotional roller coaster. You probably are a very emotional man - being emotional isn't bad, but not being able to reign in your feelings can cause major problems as you can see.

The single best thing you can do, in an investment sense, is to get mastery over your breath and unlock your inherent wisdom. My guess is you don't meditate. Practicing cardiac coherence (I.e. rhythmic breathing with a focus on positive emotion) will make you wiser. I know first hand.

This is like a personal coach, because you can see numerically the result of certain thought and behavior patterns. The product I recommend is Inner Balance from Institute of HeartMath (iPhone only I believe). Or their emWave2 which is PC or Mac friendly. One game upside is you can share it with a girl and make it a competition - see who gets a higher score. They've done a good job gamifying it and there are decades of great science and real-world application behind it.
