I've lived in Barcelona for 3 months now, studying erasmus.
Barcelona has a different vibe from anywhere else i have been. Nobody consider themselves living in Spain, everybody lives in Barcelona. Very international vibe in the city.

This culture (or lack of) makes liberal people from all over flock the city. And then you have the weekend tourist.

It's good to go out, a lot of clubs, a lot of bars, restaurants. You can pull alot if you have your night game settled.

But if you have never been in Spain before, go somewhere else too, because Barcelona certainty does't show you the bigger picture about the country .

Been to both cities for 5 days each. It's an absolute no-brainer, definitely choose Barcelona.
The city itself is a gem, I'd rate it among the 5 most beautiful cities out of more than 200 that I visited within Europe. Architecture is mediocre at best (by Italian as well as by European standards), even the Cathedral square is nothing special. City center is full of ugly streets with fashion stores, which is great when you are a mid-20 or mid-30 girl spending cash that your sugardaddy left on the hotel room nightstand the night before, but nothing a guy would enjoy in any way. Best about Milan was the really good and affordable ice-cream, but you can get that anywhere else as well. Milan was the ugliest and most boring city of all that I saw in Italy.

So much for the cities themselves.

As for the girls, I think both Spanish and Italian girls are tough nuts to crack, and while both cities attract large number of girl tourists from all over the world rolling with their girl groups, I would rather game the tourist girls in the beautiful setting of Barcelona with its better weather (sea climate, mild winters) than in the bland and boring center streets of Milan.

Much cheaper price level, at least if you don't go in high season and avoid eating in the tourist trap restaurants along Las Ramblas.

Historic European architecture from many different centuries that is way older and much more diverse and entertaining to the interested eye than any building in Miami.

Typical European walkability, excellent public transport. And while Barcelona is known for its pickpocketing and other scams, I'd like to assume that the overall crime rate is probably much less than in Miami.

Girls from all over Europe (whether you like Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Swedish or British ones) in high numbers which fly in on 30-to-100 Euro flights, which you won't find in Miami because it's simply too expensive to get there for young European girls in large numbers.

I actually think the "less Americans" thing is debatable. You see a lot of Canadians and Americans on the beach side during the winter months. It's rare to see an American, at least a non Hispanic American, west of the beach year round. During the summer months, a lot of black Americans go to Miami Beach. Overall, Americans are probably a minority as far as Miami Beach tourists go and you very rarely see any in other parts of Miami Dade.

Yes, as an Italian, Milan is the easiest city to bang chicks in Italy.

Having said, when I say Milan is the easiest city, I don't really mean Italian girls in Milan.

Since Milan attract so many girls all over the world, I would say Milan is the easiest city but I rarely banged any Italian girls in Milan. If you go to, for example, Florence or Parma, it's kind of harder because there are not many foreign girls there.

No problem, I also have some favorite hatreds ))) Warsaw or Odessa come to my mind... I just think Barcelona is quite a beautiful and enjoyable city, with plenty of women from all over the world and open to be banged.

I love both cities and have visited several times. Both have great food, architecture, art. Barcelona has better party options but Milan is classier. I'd visit neither with girls foremost in mind however. Several Med options with better ROI for that.

Just got a quick question about Italian girls...

Would you say that the girls in Milan are approachable without speaking Italian?

Two years ago myself and a friend found ourselves in "Ipsos" in the Greek island of Corfu. This happened to be the town where all the 18-19 year old Italians choose to have their summer vacation. It was basically no other nationalities there.

We approached a lot of sets and got the same experience three nights in a row. In a group of 6-8 girls, about 1 spoke poor english and had to work as the translator for the other girls. I´ve been to almost every country in Europe, but I have to say that Italian youth may be the worst english speakers there are out there..

Soo much talent, yet so difficult to get over the language barrier.

A stopover on the way to somewhere else?
Otherwise you'd probably spend more time in transit and traveling than actually doing something on the ground. Seems like a bad investment of time and money.

Yes mostly curiosity is drawing me to visit. Waiting to get a deal on a flight. Right now its $1200. I could fly to Miami for $300, so I am waiting for a good deal on BCN (if it ever comes)

Haha, of course. Approaching to Italian girls in English is always better than Italian, even if you knew Italian.

I met some Italian girls in Miami few years ago, I approached them in English and I didn't tell them I was Italian until I banged her. When I took my shirt off though, she saw my italian tattoo but I managed to say, my grandma had Italian roots.

If you approach italian girls in Italian, everything automatically will be %100 harder.

As for Italians speaking English, big countries don't really speak English. Spain and France are same too. I didn't speak one word of English until I went to Los Angeles for college. We don't really need to learn English as opposed to small countries in Europe. When I went to Sweden, I was shocked why everyone was speaking English.

Barcelona is the party capital in Europe! In the summer is full of sedent tourist girls.. I have been there like 7 times in the last 3/4 years and I got lucky all of them. I also met a bunch of good people, made new friends, locals included.

For summer time I obviously recomend the clubs in Barceloneta, which will be full from Sunday to Saturday. There was 1 year that in 4 nights in BCN, I have never made it to the club, since i got hooked up with girls who were just sitting on the beach. Pubcrawls from hostels are also fun. Clubs like Razzmatazz, Otto Zuts, Bling Bling, Sutton, La Fira or Apolo are very good as well.

Day Game: Ciutadela Park, Guell Park, Barceloneta, and Bunkers del Carmel (not that touristic but my favourite landscape spot of BCN).

Been to both. Milan is good for high roller game. Barcelona is one of the best cities in the world for getting multiple flags with tourists. The combination of the beach lifestyle + nightlife in a big city is what attracts the girls. I can only think of Miami and Rio that offer a similar landscape.
