Merkel's "conservative" party CDU is pretty busy these days to make clear they aren't going to cooperate with the AFD in any way. You can even ruin your political career by giving the AFD Likes on Facebook. They'll likely end up like Le Pen in France. They'll grow and grow but the political establishment will do everything to keep them away from any government seat.

Conservatives are just to cucked, soft and 'nice' (= stupid) here like everywhere else in the West. They should really start to learn from their leftist counterparts. Be glad. Portugal's relative poverty is mainly what keeps the enrichment so low. If you were at Norway's level, then you would have gotten 5 mio. MENA and African enrichers already in recent decades.

That is also what keeps mostly the flow away from Eastern Europe.

I know Zel, I have also said this numerous times in different conversations outside of RVF, but the curious part is that they won't get much more money in Germany actually and the available housing here is actually better than some of what they give them in Germany or the now full Sweden that doesn't have houses any more.

It does help that the national beverage is wine and that whole Pork is eaten here

Has to be some extra monetary reasons for them mostly choosing to invade Germany over the likes of Portugal and Ireland.
The NGOs, MSF, Amnesty and all the anti- Europe "Human Rights" organisations have done their homework and informed the invaders of where they can get the easiest and highest "salary" possible and the best overall package.

Essentially they get an allowance and get put into houses, most of the houses are quite decent and the allowance is not bad as well, not to mention the fact that they'd get free Portuguese lessons, healthcare and all that crap. They would not pay rent for the house during the first year or two and would get help when it came to getting jobs (mostly minor jobs, of course).

The monetary conditions are of course lower than Germany but not by that much, and we must also adjust to the fact that life in Germany is far more expensive. I have the feeling many of these so called refugees have an illusion about Germany, Sweden and other countries, and imagine the streets as being paved with gold or something like that. Reality is far more bleak than they imagine.

So, if with all these conditions, the large part of refugees that came here fled (a few hundred, not many came in the first place), just imagine what their priorities are.

It is good that they don't do a living cost analysis. Also you have to take into account that they get special promotion for countries like Germany or Sweden. They calculate also how much they will get in the future when they have a wife and 5 children. They may even give them the option of having 4 wives and 5 children each. Germany, UK, Sweden pay plenty for that and accept dependents as your own. Such a man may receive 10.000$ in Germany or the UK. In addition you have the family reunification laws to add to that.

The MENA guys don't think so far as to carve out a better life in Portugal right off the bat. They prefer to live in refugee centers in Germany or Sweden for 2 years before they accept a ready-made house in Portugal.
