Hey guys,

There's a lot of story here, so I"ll put in in point form

Month 1 : new gf, suddenly stops sleeping with me. flat out refuses. As a former bachelor of many years, I just called an ex fwb and smashed a couple times. thats it. sex comes back, I no longer release outside of new gf

Month 2-5 : very great times, sweet woman. Has her problems though, temper tamtrums, never seeks forgiveness or compromise, just revenge.

Month 6: Crazy starting to show, starts reading all my emails, starts reading all my facebook conversations. three weeks earliermy old friend and I were discussing past conquests. GF tries to find them all on social media and messages all of them asking how they knew me, when they knew, if and when we ever hooked up. One of them was the girl I smashed during month 1, which I had already forgotten about.

She breaks up with me, I'm like fine whatever. Can't be bothered with breakups, I have a lot going on. She seems really upset that I don't break down emotionally, and asks to get back together. "only if you friggin relax, alright? forgive and gorget or move on". We have passionate make up sex. (UNPROTECTED)

She breaks up with me again. Again I don't care. Three days later she comes back. I give her the same terms "you can come back if you friggin relax. Forgive and forget or just move on". She says she's ok.

She breaks up with me again a couple days latrer. I tell her to bugger off and never contact me again.

She contacts me again, shes got 4 positive pregnancy tests and a doctor confirming that she's pregnant.

I never want to see her again, she literally just wants to destroy me emotionally. She's not cleaning or caring. Always just trying to get revenge, trying to make me weak. Trying to leach.

She wants me to put her on my healthcare so her doctor visits are covered. I can't do that without making her my common law wife first, and if I do that, she can common law divorce me for half my income and pension until my dying day.

I don't know what to do. We've agreed to not see anyone else while we take some time to figure this out. I can't give this girl common law status, she would ruin me 99% chance. I never want to see her again. It's a shame about what happened, but the past is the past, and after I settled into the relationship I was nothing but faithful and good to her. I would have continued like this, but she dug into all my personal stuff and hit a mine.

DO I: Tell her never to contact me again and that it's over, and if she keeps the child it's up to her to raise it, and give her child support?

DO I: Man up and marry the girl?

DO I: Suggest terminating the pregnancy and going our separate ways?

I still have a soft spot for her, and she's trying to find it and stab it.

Unicorns by proxy are fantasy brother. How do you know SHE didn't step out on ya while 'broken up'? I think a test is in order if your under the gun to do anything except....

I beleive that it's mine.. the timeline matches and she didn't have any signs of being on the go.

Optopn 3, while tragic.. seems to be in our best interests as of this moment in time. I"m a pro life kinda guy by nature, and if it weren't for the laws of the land that would allow her to destroy me financially indefinitely, I would just stick it out with her. But she's the leaving type, hell, she left when there was no $40 grand a year prize attached to it.. but with that money as an incentive, I'm sure she'd ruin me and enjoy it.

When she was breaking up with me before she berated and insulted me to the core. I took it stoically like I didn't care, but I did note that the disrespect was impossible to recover from.

Just in the short amount you've written here there are a few signs.

1. A new girlfriend suddenly stopping sleeping with you is a huge red flag. One month in you should still be in the wild honeymoon stage where neither of you can get enough sex. Obvious exception is if it's that time of the month.

2. Temper tantrums are not signs of sweetness, especially if you're only a couple of months into the relationship.

3. At six months the signs are even more obvious than they already were, at this stage the only logical thing to do is to completely distance yourself from her.

4. If a girl breaks up with you, accept it, but more importantly, move on. Nothing good ever comes from re-animating a dead relationship. Certainly not when you accept this behavior multiple times.

At this stage, these things will help you know what to do in the future but aren't necessarily going to get you out of your current situation.

You have a girl who may or may not be pregnant. If she's lying about being pregnant, she's not the first girl to do that. And if she is pregnant, there's also the chance that it isn't yours.

First thing is to stop sleeping with her, don't put yourself in a situation where you'll be tempted. Definitely do not agree to marry her at this stage, even if she is pregnant with your child you've got 9 months to sort things out. Before making any big decisions find out if she really is pregnant and whether it is yours.

Advice? If the child happens, pay up in child support, ensure that you are a part of his/her life if you wish (and you should, a child needs a father), maintain friendly relations with the mother, but do not let her live with you, stop banging her and have other women in your life instead.

Break contact until the kid is born unless the mother is willing to have a pre-natal paternity test and put you in the room when the doctor gives the result. You have no future with this woman, but if the kid is yours then you're stuck with co-parenting and child support unless you move to the other end of the earth.

p.s. As an afterthought, if she has parents then if I were you I would seriously consider conducting all future relations through them rather than her. Forget about that soft spot. She is:

Depending on where you are, you might be able to refuse paternity and walk away from it. Were you present for any of these positive preggo tests? Did you personally talk to the doctor confirming she is preggo?

If not, first order of business is to have her take a test while you are present. Have her pee on the test and then YOU check it first. It shouldn't be too much to ask of her to allow you to do this.

And if it is positive, like Leonard said, don't just assume it's yours.

You're trying to solve a problem that may or may not even be real.

For everyone asking, no I wasn't present for any of the tests.

I am mostly concerned about what to do if it IS mine though, because if it's not I can bugger off.

I'm gonna tell her today that I don't see any future with us together and we need to see eachother as people who had a strong bond but aren't together anymore, and then answer this pregnancy question from this point of view.

I can see in her behaviour that she's emotionally distancing herself from me and rewriting the past in her mind "it seemed like it meant so much, but it wasn't real" kind of talk. She's trying to prepare herself for a break up, possibly for an appointment at the clinic.

I don't wanna send anything that could emotionally set her off at work though, so I'll wait til after work.

btw - she works with children and she absolutely loves children.
