They already implied it in the German media claiming that Borussia Dortmund got tough on some Ultra-fans.

I guess the Ultra fans instead of vehemently supporting Borussia after getting banned, decided to bomb the entire fucking team - together with multiple German national world-class players.

That makes zero sense - it is either truly a lone-wolf psycho (10% chance) or an Islamic enrichment scenario (90% chance). There have already been multiple attacks of failed/unsuccessful Jihadi suicide bombers during the last 2 years in Germany and France, so why should this come as any big surprise?

Frankly - their long silence now seems to point to the direction of an Islamic terrorist - they probably want to make sure 100% that the ISIS letter found on the scene has not been faked by Neonazis or terrorist AFD supporters (they would love that and would already have published the note found).

Wow - I am soooooooo surprised!

As I expected - signs of Islamic terror.

But they vehemently denied it in the beginning of not being terror-related.

Never mind that they found a note signed with Allahu Akbar - we have to check out whether it wasn't one of those Neonazis who are faking Islamic terrorism now in Germany and are raping the women with Arabic accents.

ISLAM IS ALL THE FUCKING MOTIVATION YOU WILL EVER NEED FOR ANY ISLAMIC TERROR! THAT BLOODY RELIGION SHOULD HAVE BEEN BANNED A LONG TIME AGO - WIPED OUT COMPLETELY! (The religion - the first victims of Islam are Muslims and killing them all is like killing all Germans to destroy the Nazi regime.)

Hehe - even better Antifa (marxist) & Islam united.

The first major terrorist organisation (Islam) working hand in hand with the second most violent (marxism). If feminists join them, then the terrible three are complete.

Quote:However Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspape suggested a letter found near the scene claimed responsibility for Islamic State

The note allegedly begins "In the name of Allah, the gracious, the merciful" before condeming German Tornado plane flights over Syria.

It claimed because of the Syrian mission sportsmen and other celebrities "in Germany and other Crusading nations" were "on a death list of the Islamic State."

And the letter demanded a withdrawal of the Bundeswehr Tornadoes from Syria as well as the closure of the American air base in Ramstein in Germany.

So they found an ISIS note on the site, but then someone on Antifa said that they did it because Borussia does not do enough against racism.

I think that Antifa moron is just that. Antifa marxists would never leave an ISIS note on site - they would make sure that an attack like that would not be "misconstrued" by the "racist establishment".

So yeah - it makes sense in their own Islamic peaceful way.

Albeit I personally don't think that Turkey will collapse anytime soon. They would even survive if tourism halves again by 2017 - just as it almost halved in 2016 as we can see on the chart.

Turkey has also the non-Islamic Western part of highly competent people and industrialists pushing forward the country. I don't like what is happening there, but it won't be gone anytime soon.

Tourism however to all Islamic countries will continue to fall in the next years and decades - I don't need to be a prophet to predict that. Some countries like Turkey may be able to pick up the slack through ISIS oil, EU payments and actual industrial activity - others not so much.

Tourism decline in 2016 was because of Putin. He cancelled all the charter flights from Russia to Turkey. A year later today, Russia and Turkey are best buddies now. Putin lifted all the sanctions against Turkey and charter flights began again.

Hotels at Antalya are saying, they will work with %92 full capacity based on the reservations as of now.

There's no economical crise there. I spent on/off spent 2 years in the country since 2010. Istanbul looks like Manhattan, people pay $3000/$4000 rent in there. They are doing so much better than most of European countries in terms of economy. They're surely doing much better than Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal etc.

No arguing there - all European countries would be doing much better outside of the EU with their own currency and self-created industrial base.

Most European countries would be doing much better than Turkey. The EU trade treaties already stifled a lot of industries way before the Euro.

I can vouch for this, after all the terrorism that has happened - yes you can feel a bit of tourist-related strain in Istanbul in the form of more competitive prices, but otherwise it's a booming major city and you can find Turkish exports around the world with a much better value-for-money ratio than Chinese ones.

We might sometimes be baffled at how Erdogan manages to stay in power despite stupid foreign policy moves, but the fact is that the Turkish economy is in good shape and no one feels like complaining when you're busy making large improvements to your living standard.

I have faith in Turkey's future; less so in Europe's.

You can slaughter our children, you can rape our women, but we will not bend to terror.
You can destroy our culture, wipe out our religion, raze our buildings, but we will not bend to terror.

Finally you can utterly wipe out our lives and our language and even any trace of our existence - but at least we can say that we did not bend to terror.

We were just daft fucksticks that deserved to die.

Most of the people who are criticizing Turkey in here, never stepped a foot in Turkey. They want to believe what they read on media but reality is much different than what they read.

Western media kept writing negative things about Turkish economy starting from 2010. I first went to Turkey in May, 2010. When we went there, (18 Italians) company started to pay us 3 times more than what we were earning in Italy.

As I got to know the city and people, I realized people in Istanbul are living much better standard than most people in Europe. They have newly built towers (all of them are 40-50 floors), pool on the rooftop also gym in the building. It's brand new towers etc. They pay $3000 per month for rent. I spent 3 months looking for an apartment and nothing was available for $2500-3000 range in Istanbul. I finally found something on 4th month. Surely, economy is good. You can find an apartment in Milano or Rome in 2 days if you are willing to spend 1000 Euro.

Then, company sent me to European countries for business meeting like Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Portugal, Greece and so on. People don't even have money to buy food, they have stores that sells 2nd hand goods and terrible in economical situation.

More than half of Europe are broke. Turkey are doing so much better than them.

I guess whenever a terror attack happens in the west, Baron Jacob Rothschild rolls a die to randomly pick the phrase of the day the MSM will push today:

1 - "Love must triumph over hate."
2 - "Diversity is what makes our society strong."
3 - "We are not afraid."
4 - "Terror can't break our resolve."
5 - "Far right must not be allowed to gain power from this tragedy."
6 - Roll twice

Yes, the logic of globalization and world trade - as well as migration - is that living standards of different countries will tend to converge towards levels below that which the West currently enjoys, but above that of what we call the Third World. Large numbers of people in Asia and even Africa already enjoy higher living standards than many in the US and Europe. This was not the case 20 years ago.

In one word - arbitrage!

If only if there were some actual means of how to calculate the actual wealth of a nation per capita basis:

GDP per capita - 2014.

And true - even that measure. I have lived and worked in the 3 of the top 5 places there.
I have friends in Norway as well. A waitress there sometimes makes 50.000$.

Turkey has a long way to go. Some shitty comparisons of localized affluent areas or even more crazy metrics like rents in the biggest city are not the way to go.

Islam will make sure that Turkey always stays back. The free economic model is certainly better than the EU's stranglehold, but Turkey is still far away from broad affluence:

And yes - roughly 50% of Germans are working poor and poor now, but they are still better off than the lower 50% of Turkey that is not seen in Istanbul.

Either way - Rossi is likely one of those reappearing Turkish trolls who will start to enlight us soon with the glories of Islam and how wonderful it is to all mankind. It is indeed funny that an Italian cares sooo fucking much about Turkey.

Most Italians especially in this thread would be concerned about the African and Muslim immigration to Italy and the destruction of that country, but hey....

Yes, they are, most likely.

But Istanbul is more than a city for Turkey. Take Istanbul out, Turkey is nothing. Country is very unbalanced. Every 1 Turkish out of 5 in Turkey live in Istanbul.

Milano, Rome and Napoli are more or less have same population, maybe 1 million more or less. Samething for California, Texas and New York, roughly about same. Istanbul is not same, they have 20 million and rest of the cities are way way less.

So, official census numbers say Istanbul is 14 millions but their census record rules suck. Let's say, your dad was born in different city (let's say, Ankara) but you're born in Istanbul, they record you under your father's place of birth which is Ankara.

That's why, official population is 14 million but actually they have over 20 million people are living in Istanbul, since last election showed that 21 million votes have been registered in Istanbul.

I didn't go to East part of Turkey but from what I've been reading, it's totally shithole there.

But again, when you go to Catania from Milano or Idaho from New York, there's whole different reality out there. I'd say it's same for Turkey too.
Giacomo Casanova 路 2017-04-12 13:20:00 路 #14373
I hope that Rossi is really joking about Turkey. The economy over there has been doing terribly for a few years and the boom of Istanbul also came due to massive debits with the countries abroad. The current account of the balance of payment accumulates massive deficits for more than ten years, meaning that they are exporting a lot less than importing since the economy isn't competitive and even tourism doesn't help. In fact the currency lost 20/30% against dollar Y/Y. For sure there will be some wealthy people, open-minded (in the good way...) and educated people in the capital like you can have in Mumbai, Nairobi, Sao Paulo, but please think again if you are really convinced that the Turkish economy is better than the Polish, Czech or Italian one. The only country where many of them could go on holiday nowadays is...Ukraine.

Stores that sell 2nd hand goods in Portugal?
Yes, there are, the vintage ones where the hipsters buy clothes from the 70s and 80s, and the relics shops where the rich buy stuff to decorate their villas...

I have been in most of the countries you mention and did not ever see people buying in second hand shops out of necessity, not even in Ukraine. A good indicator of a country in deep crisis is the number of pawn shops, there where plenty in Portugal 4 or 5 years ago, growing like mushrooms, but most if not all already closed.

You have to be trolling.

The economic differences in the US are steeper than in Western Europe, but nowhere near as steep as in Turkey.

Let me put this clear:

Even with the stifling EU measures it will always be preferable to live in non-Islamic countries. A genius born in rural Turkey will have an x-times tougher time rising to the top than in Sweden or the US.

There are other metrics of enjoyable life like access to pussy, relationships to women, lack of Islam which makes life generally better.

You cannot simply point to a few skyscrapers or small areas of a country and say: "See - we are doing great!" When 50% are illiterate and eternally poor, then you are not doing great. You are a shithole with palaces in the midst.

Go move to rural Germany, Sweden or Switzerland and see the difference - rural folk are often more well-off than the city-dwellers there. The most poor are social security recipients living in the big cities. An opening the borders with Turkey would result in a move of 5-10 mio. + of Turks to Western Europe. The increased influx of terrorists is an extra.
