Giant hamster claims to be too beautiful to remain faithful
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/articl...thful.html

Quote:Beauty is a gift that ought to come with a caveat: a warning sign stating that while being gorgeous might sound like fun, when it comes to relationships, oh boy, are you in for a rough time.

I should know. You can call me immodest, vain even, for admitting so freely that in my youth I was good looking. But then, I believe that had I not been so beautiful, I might still be married to the man I once loved.

The fatal flaw in our relationship was I blossomed to become so much better looking than he was. My poor ex couldn’t cope with living in my shadow and constantly felt jealous and insecure.

Meanwhile, I had my fickle head turned every which way by the gorgeous men who stepped over my poor, plain accountant husband to flirt with his perky young wife.

I ended up leaving him for one of his rivals: a banker with blond hair and chiselled features who was introduced to me by a female friend.

I had married in 1989 when I was 26 — I genuinely believed my husband was the love of my life — but 18 months later it was all over. Gone, because someone had flattered and seduced me and, stupidly, I didn’t have the backbone to say ‘No’.

She left her husband for one of his rivals, a banker with blond hair. Pictured, Julia Stephenson on her wedding day

She left her husband for one of his rivals, a banker with blond hair.

Needless to say, my lothario soon gave me a taste of my own medicine, driving me insane by chatting up other women.

Suddenly I was the insecure one, constantly asking: ‘Who was that woman flirting with you at the bar?’

After a few agonising months, I was left nursing a bruised ego when he moved on to someone new — and yes, she was gorgeous.

Poetic justice, you might say. But I am far from the only attractive woman to have messed up her marriage by being too pretty for her own good.

A study published this week grimly notes that being beautiful is a ‘relationship liability’.

Researchers at Harvard University — like gossip mag columnists — were debating why Hollywood power couples, such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, rarely go the distance.

The latest example is Scarlett Johansson, who filed for divorce from her second husband this month and has frankly stated that monogamy is just not for her.

The researchers found celebrities were much more likely to be divorced than plain old Mr Smith, and had shorter marriages, too.

Further research showed it’s not just the rich and famous — it’s all good-looking types.

They asked women to judge the attractiveness of 238 men from a high school yearbook. The most attractive were more likely to have had short marriages and be divorced.

Now, I don’t need a Harvard professor to tell me why that is. Being attractive throws temptations and opportunities your way. Sadly, when coupled with youth, it is a toxic combination.

The fact I was attractive meant I was constantly surrounded by men ready and willing to distract me from the path of true love. The more offers I got, the more convinced I became that the grass really was greener on the other side.

It led me into doomed relationship after doomed relationship, a vicious cycle that lasted well into my 40s.

When things started to go awry with a boyfriend, I never felt remotely inclined to try to work through any problems. I simply moved on to the next man.

As a beautiful woman, I never had that fear I would be left alone.

There was always another charming, handsome replacement waiting in the wings to offer me the heady excitement of a new relationship.

For example, one afternoon I walked out of the hairdresser’s with a friend, only to have a gorgeous young man screech to a halt in his open-top Ferrari in front of me. ‘I couldn’t have lived with myself if I’d driven past you,’ he said. ‘Will you come to the polo with me on Saturday?’

Before I had the chance to think, my friend had accepted for both of us. That weekend was spent drinking champagne with the attractive stranger and his wealthy friends. My boyfriend at the time — whoever he was — was forgotten.

On another occasion, I was running to catch a flight to Martha’s Vineyard in the States when a handsome older man stopped me, gave me his business card and simply said: ‘You’re beautiful — please call me.’ And I did. I now struggle to even recall his name.

As soon as any liaison hit a stumbling block, I’d be off to pastures new. One, I recall, ended because I refused to go away on a shooting weekend (I’d become a vegetarian). It was easier to walk away than try to fix the problem.

I suspect that had I been forced to stay and work on it, my life might be much happier.

As Dr Christine Ma-Kellams, lead author of the Harvard study, puts it: ‘We all value physical attraction, but it may make people who are unhappy in their relationships more likely to pursue alternative relationships and so perhaps it is not always a good thing.’

I have no doubt being really good-looking can be a curse when it comes to matters of the heart.

My parents, Anthony and Rosamund, were stunningly attractive. My mother was a glamorous blonde bombshell, the daughter of a baronet who was a food company magnate, and she looked like Julie Christie.

My father had the dark, brooding looks of the man in the TV Milk Tray advert.

They married young in the Sixties, just as a new era of sexual liberation was dawning. Social constraints no longer provided much of a bulwark against having your head turned when temptation came your way.

I spent the early years of my childhood with my ears ringing to the sound of their arguments as accusations were liberally thrown.

Time and again I’d watch through my window as my mother screeched off in her sports car looking for solace; she knew damn well that her husband wasn’t above doing the same. Little wonder they had split up by the time I was nine.

She writes: 'I was a late developer as far as my looks were concerned — throughout my school days and early 20s, I had very little self-confidence'

She writes: 'I was a late developer as far as my looks were concerned — throughout my school days and early 20s, I had very little self-confidence'

It was a pattern of behaviour I might have escaped had I remained the rather plain Jane I was when my future husband and I met in 1982, when I was a 20-year-old chalet girl in Switzerland and he was a 22-year-old trainee accountant.

I was a late developer as far as my looks were concerned — throughout my school days and early 20s, I had very little self-confidence.

So, when along came a lovely man who treated me well and clearly loved me dearly, I felt incredibly lucky to have him.

He wasn’t much of a looker, but then neither was I, so we seemed well matched. It was only around the time that we married that I suddenly began to blossom. My gangly limbs became shapely; my features somehow more refined.

I became fixated with the idea that I’d made a dreadful mistake in settling for someone whom I had mistakenly assumed was the best I could hope for.

For the first time in my life, men were falling over themselves to talk to me, even when I was with my husband. You can imagine the ego boost that gave me. Unforgivably, I chose to ignore how much hurt this would cause.

I remember soon after we married I was at a dinner party sitting next to an attractive male friend and realised with great regret I’d never have the opportunity to go out with another man again. There was a frisson of chemistry between us. Later that evening, I danced with him, despite seeing the pain on my husband’s face.

At home, he’d find me trying on tight clothes that showed off my figure and be horrified.

‘You’re not going out looking like that,’ he’d bark, before insisting I return them to the shop.

‘You want me to look middle-aged before my time,’ I’d snap back, before flouncing off — just as my mother had done when I was a child.

After just 18 months our marriage ended when I left my husband for the banker who wooed me right under his nose.

And so it continued, for decades. As my looks held up, the romantic opportunities kept coming and my still pretty head continued to be turned.

It was only when middle age struck, bringing with it at last a rather more mature frame of mind, that I began to tire of it all.

I genuinely didn’t want to still be careering from one meaningless relationship to another in my 50s, and besides, I was long past the age when I could be seen as a ‘dolly bird’ or ‘arm candy’.

Ferraris no longer screeched to a halt in the road — and it felt like relief.

So I changed my ways, and my expectations. I was 42 when I met my partner Steve, a 60-year-old eco-builder.

He is as far removed from the playboy type I used to go for as you could imagine, and I hope he’ll forgive me when I say less conventionally good-looking, too.

I won’t pretend to regret having been being beautiful, but I can’t help thinking my life would have been much more stable had neither I, nor my parents, been so attractive.

All that temptation and flattery turned our heads, meaning we were always less than satisfied with what we had.

It might well be true, as my friend’s analogy suggests, that plain people stay together because they have little choice in the matter, but perhaps their lives are happier as a result.

This story is an educational case study for any male who is willing to look past the bullshit flowery language of rationalisation that attempts to release her from any responsibility she holds due to her actions. The truth is. She came from a broken family, rode the carousel hard, shitting all over a nice beta for the alphas who just pumped and dumped her. Then, and this is the bit that really made me laugh:
Quote:It was only when middle age struck, bringing with it at last a rather more mature frame of mind, that I began to tire of it all
tard The reality is that she only stopped once she began to hit the wall and stopped receiving attention. Yet she still has this nasty arrogance about her, calling her current partner less good looking that the previous men she has been involved in. It's one thing to confide that opinion in a friend, but to a national newspaper?

There are many lessons in this piece about the affects of a: broken family, liberal society, female rationalisations, the carousel, the wall and what being beta can have.

RE: Giant hamster claims to be to beautiful to remain faithful
Some of you guys think I'm crazy when I tell you that stunning looks should be deliberately low on your list of priorities when finding a woman to settle down with.

This article is a prime example of why.

Attractive bitches have an entitlement mentality that's hard to break because all their life they've been able to bounce effortlessly from anyone who told them "no" to someone who would tell them "yes". Besides. Plain women can birth manly sons and plain daughters, the latter being exactly the kind of daughters you should want.

Fine ass bitches are for notches, but for an LTR you want a woman who won't have another alpha male's cock in her mouth five minutes after you tell her she can't have a pony.

Well...I agree with you up to a point. I need someone I can get it up to, but I agree that you shouldn't put much stock into trying to find someone who will impress other people.

What matters more than anything else is CHARACTER and all your screening efforts for an LTR should be directed first and foremost at trying to understand how her moral compass works.

Seriously - that bitch is at best a 7-8 even in her prime:

[Image: 01E4E9130000044D-0-image-m-40_1490049275418.jpg]

The truth of the matter is that if women are in the right environment, surrounded by successful men, then opportunities are going to avail themselves. The hypergamy hamster is on coke constantly.

But it takes a carousel slut to take the coke.

There are a legion of women who are 8-9 together with less successful and less good-looking men:

And those women don't feel the urgy to fuck everyone and monkey-branch onto the next best deal out there.

Both women above are hotter than the bitch in the article.

Attractiveness is no excuse whatsoever.

Character and consciousness is the first attribute that men should look in a woman - even if she is blessed with 9 looks, then a LTR is more likely to be happy than with a carousel riding Alpha-widow 7.

What continually amazes me is that women never learn their folly. For the life of them they can never admit they made a mistake. The farthest she got was blaming it all on her life circumstances (parents and her were too good looking). As OP mentioned she deludes herself into believing she quit whoring it up because she grew tired of it, instead of simply admitting she finally hit the wall. This is why you cant afford women any choices. The second you give women options they fuck it up.

For them to admit their mistakes or folly, would result in hurt feelings with no one else to blame or accuse.
Can't have that...

Lol she looked like shit when young, like 4. She "turned" blonde, maybe improved her breasts and stayed slim, now thinks that she is a princess. Would hate fuck her, probably piss on her after and spit in her face. Nothing can get me more disgusted than entitled whore.

Hope the guy did find out about Ukraine.

Leonard, Paracelsus, Zelcorpion and guys up there, I need the insight of more experienced men on here.

If I had to make a decision about a woman based on only one character trait, what should that be??

Gracias.

Consciousness - that is the entirety of her being encompassing her ability to love, to be loyal, to be ethical, to be kind. However most humans are not trained to differentiate between low and high consciousness since it is barely related to intelligence.

As a rule of thumb - her ability to love family, children, parents, pets and how kind and nurturing she is with those - that should tell you mostly what you need to know.

I even met feminists who talked with a modicum of contempt about the 2 cats they had.

------------------

By the way - the article is of course bullshit and the Harvard study was about celebrity Hollywood couples and why they have such a high divorce rate. It has nothing about attractiveness in it.

Celebrities in Hollywood get divorced because every hot girl sucks A-listers dicks just when someone like Brad Pitt only points to his dick. Also they stay away from home, get a rush doing sexually stimulating activities and they take part in coke parties with tons of models and hot men. What can go wrong? Leelee Sobieski left Hollywood at her peak because she knew that she could not have a happy family and a Hollywood career at the same time.

But this has not much to do with attractiveness. You can marry a 9 if your SMV and Game is high enough. There are shy introverted 8s who never even enter night clubs and have notch-counts below 3 in their early 20s.

That bitch above married at age 26 after a decade of carousel riding. And she lasted barely 18 months before she left her Beta Husband for another Alpha again. Yeah - she is the real hero and a "victim" of her attractiveness.

I agree

Quote:WHAT TO SCREEN FOR IN A WIFE
There are six (6) dimensions I recommend you screen along when you screen for a wife-quality girl:

Her genes
Her background
Her personality
Her beliefs
Her age
Her life goals

We’ll break down the importance of each below, and list out a number of what I consider the most important points to make sure to screen for under them.

She looks cross eyed to me in her wedding picture. And I like how her tit is hanging out in the pics from the article. Very subtle, whore.

Leonard nailed it, don't marry for looks. Too many problems associated with it long term. But then again some of us don't want to wake up to an average Nancy for the rest of our days.

My solution is just not to even get married and mess with the headache.

RE: Giant hamster claims to be too beautiful to remain faithful
Of course don't marry purely for looks, but in my experience looks doesn't directly correlate to personality, or at least not in the way one may suspect.

I've met a few 9s-10s who had great personalities. Probably the best looking girl I ever dated had a great personality. We ended up drifting apart for a few reasons (some on her, some on me to be honest). For the most part, the women I've been with are 7.5s with one common personality trait throughout, a pleasant disposition.

The problem, as we know, is feminism which has corrupted the minds of so many women. Instead of 6s-7s accepting that they are everyday almost cute or cute girls who if they act pleasant and try to be the type of woman a desirable man may like, they are essentially taught they are 10s that can do no wrong. Furthermore, since they have adopted masculine qualities such as being aggressive, they are now being rejected in a manner they aren't used to. Instead of adapting to the world or facing reality, they blame men. And our society coddles and enables them.

The result is a woman like this, unable to accept responsibility for her poor decisions.

I think you mean conscientiousness.

Not trying to be annoying.

This is the linchpin point. In a world where they are told to become individuals with "freedom" and self-reliance (and opinions) --- The West --- there are rarely two sexes anymore, just versions of men. And yes, it is repugnant. That's what you get in economic systems like this, though. Sadly.

Gracias.

If you're making a decision about a woman based on only one character trait, you're doing it wrong.

That aside: a woman's background is probably the strongest factor to consider, but I wouldn't call that a character trait.

If you had to make the decision, though, forced to it, my answer would be this: agreeableness.

Looks fade. It doesn't matter whether she's a 10 with an ass you could bounce quarters off and breasts that could support a small airfield, in ten years time you're still going to be fucking that and I promise you there will be other women to turn your head. Unless of course she has (and she won't) accessed some magic part of your amydgala that guarantees a hard-on for her particular combination of ass, tits, face, and giggle, in which case, again, I promise you, you will not be the only one who's getting those hard-ons.

Putting it another way, as far as looks are concerned, while banging her doggy style you can always look at the wall and think of Venezuela. She'll have passed a certain boner threshold for you to have noticed her in the first place, so her looks at the end of the day aren't really the determinative factor for whether she'll make a good wife or not.

Personality, by contrast, doesn't fade. If anything it metastasises -- absent some radical surgery to core-out your worst traits. And you don't want to be around when someone goes through a life-changing experience that makes them a better person. Usually it doesn't change one person's life.

"Strong, independent" women are not going unmarried because their suitors/husbands are intimidated by them. Are you kidding? No man who stops to think about what he is has any right to feel intimidated by a woman. We have greater muscle mass, greater intelligence, and we don't get pregnant. No woman ever overcomes a man except by enlisting the muscle and resources of other men, i.e. the legal system.

The reason "strong, independent" women are going to turn into cat ladies for the most part is simply this: they view marriage as a drama competition and it's fucking draining to have to come back to the shelter that is your home and deal with that shit on a daily basis. If you're going to be a provider husband, or indeed any sort of a traditional husband, odds are on you'll have to be out competing or in conflict with other guys. That's the deal you got from Darwin, gentlemen: you were given greater muscle mass, better spatial ability, and loads of testosterone specifically so you could go and bloody yourself in conflict against other men in the shop or in the office for the sake of a wife and children at home. If you want to assert that a woman's natural role is as nurturer, you have to accept the corresponding natural role of hunter and protector.

Let's be real, the daily grind does take an emotional toll. Unless you're in the 0.001% of the male population, you will have to sweat and grind for your money. That will not be pleasant and that shit does tire you out. Especially as you get older those bones are going to start aching eventually and it's going to take longer to catch your breath as the years go by. All the T injections and strict health regimens in the world cannot turn 40 into 20 again.

Want the short version of what you're most likely to face each day when you go home? Chris Rock explains:

And that's without assuming a marriage to a feminist "career" woman who
(a) has been conditioned to think of gender relationships as a constant push for equality
(b) has a combative personality ("Strong, independent")
© having worked all day, is at her own emotional wits' end, since she doesn't have the brain setup of men that allows her to lock out a lot of the bullshit that goes on around her
(d) resents her husband on some level for being in a position of never having to make a choice between career or children
(e) has likely fucked a conga line of bad boys and is feeling, every day, the onset of her age and the biological clock running out.

I promise you that over the course of a marriage, a woman's personality will grate on you far more than drooping tits or sagging ass ever will. It is inevitable, in every marriage, that on some low days you will just look over at the person sharing your bed with you and think "You fucking parasite" (as Bill Cosby put it). It is part of being human. What you don't want is that feeling every single day on the way home from work.

Women claim that fiery, outspoken opinions demonstrate there's a lot of love in a marriage. Bullshit. I agree that indifference to another person is the opposite of love, that arguments demonstrate you still give a shit about one another. But it's another thing entirely to get married to someone who gets triggered on the smallest provocation whatsoever and wants to let you know all about it. That sort of relationship we call "fiery". Funnily enough, I've never heard of such a thing as a "fiery" marriage - not one that lasted, anyway. Gerry Spence's "How to Argue and Win Everytime" has a good section on how, in relationships, the art of winning is the fine art of losing arguments.

TL;DR - if you have to pick a marriage partner, pick one who isn't going to fucking drain you out emotionally with her bullshit.
