I haven't heard about the Black Pill. It's quite interesting.

This article does not accurately address red/blue/black pill. Pretty much just describes black pill as MGTOW.

For me black pill is when you think logically about current trends and guess that the most likely outcome will be negative and that there really isn't anything you can do to change that, e.g civilizational decline is inevitable.

But it's impossible to know the future and being black pill all the time will just lead to a nihilistic depressed existence. It's a self-defeating ideology where you "know everything" but believe in nothing.

What do you think the author missed with his explanation of blue/red? I know it's a much more complex topic (as evidenced by the thousands of threads here), but for a short article, it seems he made a fair summary of red/blue pill. I din't know about black pill (nihilism), so I don't know if he's accurate on it.

That's very true. I've seen much worse than this guy get some pretty good leg in Bangkok without buying it. Fifteen of us went on business, and there was one middle age guy named Ricky that was way uglier than this guy. Bald, beer belly, snaggle teeth. He was so ugly that we called him Pretty Ricky. To his face. The guy knew he was ugly as fuck, but he didn't care and he was getting some decent ass.

I mean the guy in the video did get an unlucky break for sure in the genetics department. But he could be out walking to wherever he's going instead of driving. Haven't read my the link, but just the quoted portion answers a lot of it's own questions.

"Didn't play sports" Well start lifting weights and playing sports son! Some organized youth sport are beyond you, but you could start doing martial arts right now, and guys have made the UFC starting after high school, you can still do a lot to improve yourself if you put in the effort.

In any case, even ugly men or crippled men can contribute to the world in many ways, something ugly women generally can't. If these guys had been Mongol or Viking or some such thing, maybe they wouldn't have survived, but they would have understood their duty to their tribe.

In fact, some people such as Danes and Icelandics are genetically very similar, everyone shares a large quantity of DNA. This is actually an example of out-breeding, literally your entire country is your extended family. If these guys understood this and had a society which encouraged such thinking, they would get off their hedonist morality (because that's what it is), and start looking for ways to contribute to their kinsmen. And by doing so, they would become valuable and might actually get laid.

I know several guys with similar/arguably worse looks then him and who have hot girlfriends.

I didn't waste time listening to his video for too long and don't know what else problems he has but his looks are not bad enough to to give up on happiness and women.

Guy could improve his looks by increasing T levels, a little lifting and fat loss will make his face more square. Also he is too addicted to smoking, he even does it during a video - that means he is too addicted, he should drop smoking to raise T even higher. Growing a beard and getting rid of long geasy hair would improve looks even more.

If he would do all that he wouldn't have such an image of being a genetically inferior man.

Life is like a game of poker where the cards are only dealt once.
It is undeniable that the guy who receives a pair of aces (e.g. tall, good looking and wealthy parents) has a massive advantage over the guy who starts with 2-7 offsuit.

There are 3 ways to play the game:
-blue pill: You don't really understand the game but you play along. If you were dealt a good hand, there's a decent chance that you'll win but you might still get screwed. With a bad hand, your chances of getting screwed are very high.
-red pill: You try to completely understand the game to make the most of what you were dealt. You have a good chance at beating guys with a better hand but a worse understanding of the game.
-black pill: You realize that some guys have an advantage over you and you fold immediately.

My impression was that Black Pillers aren't MGTOW...they see the same things that Red Pillers see, but instead of the "despite the odds, seek out a good woman and have kids with her at some point," the BPer just plays the field as long as he can, without regard to progeny. That's not MGTOW.

Agreed. Law and culture usually don't keep you from having what you want. They just make it more challenging, so that the lazy, cowardly, incompetent, extremely unlucky, etc. give up.

It's like how there are laws that say that I can't smoke pot, yet if I really wanted to, I could smoke pot anyway. It just would require going to additional effort to figure out a way to get it and how, when, and where I would smoke it without getting caught or arousing suspicion. Lately, I haven't felt motivated to go through all that hassle just to get high, but that doesn't mean I'm going to say, "Oh, because it's illegal, that means there's no way I can possibly do it." Similarly, it's still possible to have a successful relationship with a sexy young woman in our corrupt society. It's just not as easy and simple as it might have been in the past. That's enough to deter some men. I wish those men would be intellectually honest enough to admit that part of the problem is their own lack of motivation to overcome obstacles. I guess in our society, though, it's encouraged to always pretend to be strong, and shift blame elsewhere, rather than admitting weakness.

What the red pill does does, in addition to helping men learn how to attract women, is also teach them what they're actually getting once they attract her. Red pill men realize they won't get from a woman the kind of unconditional love they received from their mother, or a "soulmate"-type intellectual connection like what they might have with a close male friend. They realize that women will fake these things in order to lock them down, but it's all a mirage. They also realize that women will lie about a lot of other stuff too, in order to seem like the perfect mate.

Every heterosexual man wants the tight, young pussy of a beautiful woman, but it's still not a strong enough incentive to motivate some men, once they discover the truth about women. Blue pill men think, "Oh, I just have to find a woman who loves me for me, and then the rest will be easy, because my personality will give me inherent value for her the same way she has inherent value for me just by existing and being beautiful." (That's how they get oneitis, which will make them go to incredible lengths to get that one perfect girl, so they can live happily ever after with her.) Some of them, after swallowing the red pill and realizing they have the burden of performance, throw in the towel.

It's all part of natural selection. Those who aren't either (1) so naturally attractive, or rich, or whatever, that getting pussy is easy for them; or (2) so highly motivated to get pussy that they do whatever it takes to get it, get weeded out.

But of course, we can't say that this is going to produce future generations of men who are more motivated in all areas. Because even though having a mission is attractive to women, those men who are able to motivate themselves to pursue their mission, but aren't able to motivate themselves to jump through all the hoops needed to attract a woman (maybe because they find dealing with women more challenging than whatever their mission is), might not score. As subterfuge noted, "I don't know about anyone else here, but I know a fair few people with zero job, they've never had a job, their only hobby is getting high, and yet they do extremely well with girls. Similarly, I have a number of friends who are very successful and have very well paid jobs, they have various hobbies, and they SUCK with girls!!"

I don't necessarily blame the autistic for giving up rather than playing the game on hard mode. That's just a personal choice on their part that leaves more women available for other men. But the problem isn't some "black pill reality" that's universal to all men, but rather their own weakness.

Is that really what the black pill is? I had always equated it to "dark triad" philosophy, or a nihilistic/ride the wave of destruction mentality towards women.

Ex. Red pill = how to use today's individualistic culture to your advantage and see through the lies. Bang hot girls etc.
Black pill = how to use today's hedonistic culture to your advantage, with no moral qualms. ie. "I have cocaine at my place" game or "banging married women" game.

MGTOW already is a thing, why does it need a pill colour?
