Occam's Razor:

1. The not wanting his daughter to date in secret excuse is obviously bullshit, hot girls have had secret boyfriends since they were in middle school. If he had some other reason for not approving except that he's black and he just would have come out and said so.

2. This girl publicly shaming her parents like that is a sign that she's an idiot 18 year old girl... Decent chance she's a headcase too but teenagers are self-obsessed and histrionic by definition so best not to play armchair psychologist and say definitively at such a young age.

3. The boyfriend seems like a decent dude. The illicitness of dating a black guy coming from her kind of family is a turn-on but the fact that he's not a hoodlum and she kept it secret from her parents suggests she's not just doing it to piss off mum and dad.

Conclusion: The relationship is genuine. Rich Southern daddy doesn't like that his little princess is dating a black guy and lashes out. She overreacts and drags the family dispute out into the public, ruining their name forever. Neither the father nor the daughter come out in a sympathetic light. Feels for the boyfriend but at least the notoriety will bring him some white girl trying to make daddy mad puss if they break up.

I think all these threads come down to is non-whites usually saying hey you shouldn't be racist at all ever.

Western white guys come back with hey look we could be a 5 or 6 on a racist scale EASILY like many other groups in the world, we have chosen to lower to a 2-3 and unless everyone else shapes the fuck up (i.e. rises to the height of Western Christian values, and a very high trust society) then don't ask Western white guys to drop down to a zero when so many other races are shitting the bed in this department.

I believe Western white guys would accept a 0 racism policy when everyone else does. Like a nuclear disarm.

Because look I'm not a racist white guy (well maybe a 1.5), anyways black chicks really are bringing terrible game and I'd be lying if I didn't say it irks me to see a hot white girl pair off with a black guy sometimes.

Why? I am not hating the black guy (rather good for him - he is fighting some odds), I am hating that so many white chicks either fat and/or hard to deal with (therefore I see hot thin white chicks as a resource to compete for), or black chicks which are even more fat and/or hard to deal with (so I get no equivalent trade off to go for).

Is it logical? No, it's lizard tribalism in my brain at work. And I'd say out of most white guys in America I have to be on the much more liberal side as far the diversity of my friends and chicks.

So it is the perception of not sharing common values and not an equal trade off offered cast onto an individual of race or group that causes the fear and jealousy from a higher level view. People unfortunately as we all know tend to assign traits to any individual from a large group until they know them very well, even then people need to fight those traits being assigned to them. It's very hard to shake completely.

My best friend from grad school was Viet-American first generation born here. I was his first white friend.

His first question while grinning was "Travesty... is it true white people really love food like meatloaf?" Like me asking a new black friend if all blacks love fried chicken.

^ I banged a black girl from South Africa. I have talked to several black Colombian girls and banged one, ultra feminine. These girls aren't in anyway like American black chicks. Even English ones are a completely different breed altogether.

Honestly two of the most feminine black girls I have ever met were American black chicks (one banged - thought about seriously dating her though timing was terrible). The more highly educated and upper middle class or greater tend to be pretty feminine and nice. I am guessing because for a black man to take a family that far he had to be solid. Or come from very a solid family.

I'm with Travesty, even Black girls from mainland Europe are more feminine than white Australian women. All the African (i.e straight from Africa) kids I know here come from strict Christian families so the girls turn out very feminine. I don't know any Muslim ones personally but from what I've seen even more so for them.

Even though in this case, me thinks the dude us dating down, I would want my daughter to marry a white, blonde, beautiful and bright white man like me)) preferably rich and tall. I'm calling BS here. I know a couple black guys who dated white girls, and the girls weren't with them to virtue signal, or because they wanted "more power in the relationship". If anything, the black guys had vastly more power. This is overly generalizing.

I still think that we're not getting the full story, and that if we knew the actual context the father would come off a lot better than he does. But I don't think that since we don't know the truth, we can just assume whatever personal prejudices we have are correct.
