Any pics in valkrie where you had success?

Planning a short trip (5 nights) to Manila in 3 weeks, and I would appreciate some feedback on a few things, I've spent the past 2 days reading up datasheets and trip reports:

- Most members recommend staying at either Makati or the Fort, I plan on renting a high floor 1bd condo from Airbnb but not sure whether to go with Makati or the Fort. Cost isn't an issue, just looking to stay at an area where most girls would be willing to meet at a close venue to my condo

- From the datasheets I read, it seems that online is the way to go (altho I plan to day and nightgame too), many recommend Filipinocupid, BUT when I signed up for it couple of days ago to see what kinda of talent there is, something weird happened, when I signed up I didn't even put up a single pic nor update my info but next day I got 41 messages lol? fake profiles? I really don't wanna waste my time nor money upgrading membership there only to find out it's just bunch of fake profiles?

- How far out should I start pipelining? I've read some pipeline weeks ahead of their trip, in the US usually when you get a number then interaction goes cold if I can't set up a date a few days after
if you pipeline way ahead of time, do you just tell em that you'll be there in two weeks? or what do you guys tell em?

- what apps do I need be using over there?

Was in Peru, ZERO matches.
Planned to overhaul with new phone, photos, facebook, number, everything. Thought something was really wrong.

Just got to Davao and started swiping here. Phone is exploding.
So there was no profile issue or blacklist of it afterall. It is just that Peru is a total crapzone.
I swiped for days and got not a single match to even prove it worked. Peru really was aweful.
Now its fine that Im in Davao.
So I guess I dont need to buy a new phone etc.

I honestly have a feeling most if not all are real. They really are that desperate to meet a foreigner, especially in province. A big factor is that they see you are a foreiner AND that you are a newly registered member so that explains part of it. Although many of these you saw may be conservative, gold digging, jobless or other kinds of girls you might not like meeting. Yet are probably not fake at all, but many you might wish to ignore.

The ones that seem to bombard me are ones that appear to be jobless, conservative and immediatly request I meet their family and cheesy stuff like that. I aint got time for that $h!t

Oh. And about pipeline, I have done max 1 week. Convos quickly get boring and pointless with these girls if you are in contact any longer. So a week, maybe as little as 4 days.

Heres a valuable trick I can share. Pick some who have been offline at least 3 days. Those that are non stop online may be a nuisance to you in many ways, not limited to the fact that it gets annoying trying to talk to them all the time because they are always on there, yet out of stuff to say. If they are usually offline, but swing by occasionally, you can comfortably have a week or so anticipation to meet without them always hanging around online. Girls offline 3-8 days will mostly come on in due time and they (plus those offline even longer) are often the ones that actually leave their number right for you when they eventually do log in. If you wish to also pipeline at least 2 weeks in advance, try girls shown 2 weeks + offline for that. And give girls different arrival dates (but of course you schedule more for each date to account for flakes and other stuff). I think the meet is better planned and set if she thinks you arrived that day. Its also a good excuse to insist on exact days so they stay organized, if you say its then that you arrive.

In my experience in Manila, the difference between 4G LTE and anything less is like night and day.
Not sure if it is just because of the superior LTE technology, or because the masses are not using it so much and clogging up the bandwidth!
Performance differences between Globe and Smart can come down to which side of your building you are on.

BTW, I'll be back in Makati late Feb if anyone is about.

Makati and the fort are both major modern areas, so it's matter of personal preference which one you like better. You can try both. However, as far as telling girls "come meet me at X" is concerned, definitely choose Makati, as Greenbelt (in Makati) is probably the most recognized landmark in Manila, and girls pass there often. Telling a girl to come to the fort will likely prove to be very frustrating. And if money is no issue, choose a condo on the doorstep of Greenbelt. Enjoy your stay!

About fort vs makati, I noticed a lot of condos in Makati are not near malls. I wonder if it is a problem. I dont know if they all have coffee shops or something in that unpopular area that all girls are willing to go to instead of meeting at the malls that are elsewhere in Makati. Outside Makati, condo builders did a good job building right next to malls. Las pinas, paranaque, qc, manila centre etc have newer condos next to SM malls. Its easy to do mall to condo meets in those. But if these girls are willing to meet at coffee shops anywhere you choose then that is even better.

I think it's better to check outside of makati, you get a more real experience and you stand out a lot more and considering manila is a huge city, you can go to any of the suburbs and be something new.

Is it a good idea to assume that cash is king? From what I understand it's a cash society so not the best place to rely on credit cards. I can book rooms and flights online and Uber etc through apps but for the rest I was just planning on relying on cash I'll bring and exchange as I need it. Sound like a good idea?

Most of my Filipina friends seem to be on Globe, but if your funds aren't an issue, consider getting both. My buddy who lives in the Philippines has both and he looks at it like this: Typically the girls will be on one or the other network. If she has Smart and you have Globe, it becomes a tough barrier instantly. Why eliminate a good half of your prospects in that way if money isn't an issue, right?

And while cash is definitely king, respectable establishments in the Philippines do accept cards. I just have to ask them, like when I dine in a restaurant, check into a hotel or buy something from SM (Well, I don't ask for SM, I know for sure they take US credit cards.) Save your cash for 'lower' establishments or services, commuting, street food, etc.

Malo's quote below is spot on. There is another way (which I use extensively.) I have a Charles Schwab Investor's Checking account and the ATM card they give you allows you to withdraw in pretty much any country to get the local currency at the best bank rates. The local bank will charge you an ATM fee (about 550 PHP last I tried in 2015 for every 10k or 12k pesos I withdraw (10 or 12 because that is typically the bank's max allowable withdrawal, depending on the branch.)) Charles Schwab will then credit you back all ATM fees at the end of every month. I think this is a really effective way to A) Not have to carry around wads of dollars and B) Get the best exchange rates when converting dollars to other currencies.

Viber is very common as well. I'd add that to the list.

^ HSBC do not charge ATM fees at all (last time I checked anyway, which was a year ago). You don't need to be their client, they just don't charge ATM fees in general. There are a few HSBC ATM's in Manila, less (or none) in other cities.

Also, for a club of Valkyrie’s caliber, I expected there to be way hotter girls. There were definitely hot girls, but the average was quite low – Dave said there were a lot of fatties and I agree. Would say the average girl was a 4 or 5.

There were a few Westerners here and there, girls and guys, with the girls being ugly or just ok. There were a decent amount of Koreans maybe ~5-10% of the people, girls were at best Korean 8s but mostly ok.

She sees through the bullshit and is sad and asks for taxi money to go home. I give her whatever change I have (320 peso or a little less than 7 USD). Not sure if that was p4p but I’ll chalk it up as a lay.

Anyway, the Korean girl is luckily not really looking at the elevator area and is sitting charging her phone. I say hi and we go up and bang at like 7:30 or 8am. Was absolutely wiped the next day.

A Same Day Lay Gone Wrong + First Daygame Bang? (Pics)

So Dave and I decided to do some daygame today.

Got a couple numbers and Instagrams but I was really just going for the same day lay aka meet a girl and bring her to my place right then and there.

One of the girls was an actual model flying to Milan in a couple of days with like 40,000 Instagram followers. So I’m saying she was an actual model, not some dumb ho who saves up for a Groupon to get pics taken of her then upload them to Instagram. Her face was just ok though but she had that model swag and was a super chill person like giving my steady eye contact throughout the interaction and very calm and composed - most girls were a little shy or hesitant. Not gonna lie; your boy was working up a slight sweat but managed to keep a poker face for this modela .

But the weirdest approach was this girl who, from far away, looked hot. I walked up and she was like a 5 wearing plain clothes (for some reason Dave and I thought she was wearing a hot dress).

I thought it was going well so I said let’s go back and watch Korean shows (we were talking about it) and all of a sudden, she says ok but give me money.

What the fuck? This was really surprising because she looked totally normal, dressed in a t-shirt and some normal pants (again, not hot either – I just wanted the SDL). Also, it wasn’t like I was at a hooker bar, I was just in the outdoor area of a really nice mall (Greenbelt). Apparently, her and her friend get “clients” there sometimes? Like she is a student and said she goes once a week to this area to get customers. I don’t really know how the “transaction” happens as I doubt that many people would go up to some random girl unless they were in on PUA. Thoughts??

Edit: Hahaha so I’ve been told there’s a famous hooker place right in that area called Café Havana. Really surprising because it’s just the plaza area of a really nice mall.

I’m a bit disappointed when she shows up because she looks rough from the drinking and is smoking, too (I don’t mind smoking that much but combined with the fact she was wasted it was trashy to me). She said she had killed half a bottle of tequila with her friend or maybe that was the amount she drank by herself, not sure. Regardless, I was kind of disgusted at that point.

We go up and I’m not really motivated to hit it but I do anyway. Of course I turn on the lights and there’s blood on my dick and shit. Though I will admit she was a good lay, which was a redeeming factor for her. But not redeeming enough where I wanted her to sleep over. I bullshit her saying I had to make a call for work and got her an Uber. Fuck it’s so late right now (6am) and it’s not like I even went out or anything.

All in all, seems to confirm the last time I was in Manila. Valkyrie overrated, only place in the world where sitting your ass at home gets you better quality then gong out. The only big pro about Philippines is good English ability, which makes it much easier to hook the regular ladies, whereas other countries a girl speaks english, most definately more pro foreign friendly.

3 months ago I was in Davao and there were almost no foreigners it was awesome. I even spent some time on Roxas and didn't feel threatened at all. The amount of foreigners going there will probably remained pretty low for awhile but will probably start coming back eventually.

A Same Day Lay Gone Wrong + First Daygame Bang? (Pics)

So Dave and I decided to do some daygame today.

Got a couple numbers and Instagrams but I was really just going for the same day lay aka meet a girl and bring her to my place right then and there.

One of the girls was an actual model flying to Milan in a couple of days with like 40,000 Instagram followers. So I’m saying she was an actual model, not some dumb ho who saves up for a Groupon to get pics taken of her then upload them to Instagram. Her face was just ok though but she had that model swag and was a super chill person like giving my steady eye contact throughout the interaction and very calm and composed - most girls were a little shy or hesitant. Not gonna lie; your boy was working up a slight sweat but managed to keep a poker face for this modela .

But the weirdest approach was this girl who, from far away, looked hot. I walked up and she was like a 5 wearing plain clothes (for some reason Dave and I thought she was wearing a hot dress).

I thought it was going well so I said let’s go back and watch Korean shows (we were talking about it) and all of a sudden, she says ok but give me money.

What the fuck? This was really surprising because she looked totally normal, dressed in a t-shirt and some normal pants (again, not hot either – I just wanted the SDL). Also, it wasn’t like I was at a hooker bar, I was just in the outdoor area of a really nice mall (Greenbelt). Apparently, her and her friend get “clients” there sometimes? Like she is a student and said she goes once a week to this area to get customers. I don’t really know how the “transaction” happens as I doubt that many people would go up to some random girl unless they were in on PUA. Thoughts??

Edit: Hahaha so I’ve been told there’s a famous hooker place right in that area called Café Havana. Really surprising because it’s just the plaza area of a really nice mall.

So even though I didn’t get the “SDL,” one of the girls I had daygamed earlier came through.

At the mall, she looked ok – would give her a 6 sober so maybe 7 drunk. She had lots of makeup but smelled nice (big for me). I literally saved her in my phone as “Cute Short Manila Smells Good” or something. Of the two numbers I got, 1 responded (her). I sent a message around midnight asking her what she was doing. While I was talking to a forum member late at night, she sends me a text at 1:30 asking if I’m up. You know what that means. However, she was being difficult and seemed super drunk. After saying bye to the RVF member, I did some stuff and had to wait from like 3-4. I figured, oh well, since my trip is coming to an end and I didn’t have anything planned for the next day.

I’m a bit disappointed when she shows up because she looks rough from the drinking and is smoking, too (I don’t mind smoking that much but combined with the fact she was wasted it was trashy to me). She said she had killed half a bottle of tequila with her friend or maybe that was the amount she drank by herself, not sure. Regardless, I was kind of disgusted at that point.

We go up and I’m not really motivated to hit it but I do anyway. Of course I turn on the lights and there’s blood on my dick and shit. Though I will admit she was a good lay, which was a redeeming factor for her. But not redeeming enough where I wanted her to sleep over. I bullshit her saying I had to make a call for work and got her an Uber. Fuck it’s so late right now (6am) and it’s not like I even went out or anything.

That wasn’t an “SDL” but I think it was my first daygame bang or maybe first bang where I purposely went out to the mall or whatever to daygame, got a number, and closed (that day) vs. randomly getting a number going about my day.

For being such a Korean God Poster, I expected better quality. Frankly, Tinder is better then nightlife in Manila. You're spinning wheels + throwing away money going there. Went with a couple forum members in the past and they all agree.

All in all, seems to confirm the last time I was in Manila. Valkyrie overrated, only place in the world where sitting your ass at home gets you better quality then gong out. The only big pro about Philippines is good English ability, which makes it much easier to hook the regular ladies, whereas other countries a girl speaks english, most definately more pro foreign friendly.

I originally had no interest in visiting anywhere in the Philippines other than Boracay (datasheet here). However, I was in Boracay for too long and got bored of it so I cut my trip short and decided to meet my boy Dave in Manila.

Got in Saturday afternoon and checked into my 5 star hotel (treated myself, it was awesome). Decent price though I’m not sure it was really a game-changer in terms of getting girls. They didn’t seem keener to fuck me when I told them where I was staying. It was more just icing on the cake.

First, Dave and I went to the gym and got food. I was really tired as I had only slept 4 or 5 hours tops the night before but couldn’t fall asleep for a quick power nap. Oh well, I rally and we head out to Valkyrie, which by all accounts seems to be the best, or at least best-known, club in Manila. Dave and I were able to get in for free on a guestlist, which was dope (cover is usually 1000 peso or 20USD).

I have to say the club itself was very nice. Good music (head bobbing the whole time), lighting, décor, the works. However, it was a bit “scene” that night (not sure if that’s every night) and not good for pickup. That is, almost everyone seemed to be on a table or with a group.

Also, for a club of Valkyrie’s caliber, I expected there to be way hotter girls. There were definitely hot girls, but the average was quite low – Dave said there were a lot of fatties and I agree. Would say the average girl was a 4 or 5.

There were a few Westerners here and there, girls and guys, with the girls being ugly or just ok. There were a decent amount of Koreans maybe ~5-10% of the people, girls were at best Korean 8s but mostly ok.

I made a few approaches here and there but nothing really worth mentioning except maybe one set. I approached a Korean coming out of the bathroom. She was a 6 at best but she was young (1997) and seemed keen. However, she was with a big group and I kept getting cockblocked by her friends.

Dave went home and I asked some dude for a piece of gum. I originally was thinking this dude was the PUA Mark Manson or Entropy4 on here because he looked exactly the same. We started talking about girls and traveling and he talked about shit no one except an RVF reader would know and it turned out he lurks haha. Anyway, guy’s a party animal and we were just pounding drinks (was planning on having a “chill night”…)

He ended up going to the afterhours club Time before me (closes at 7 or 8am) and I follow suit a bit later around 5 or 5:30. Time is tiny and more of a minimal or deep house scene with very dark lighting. Another place that probably isn’t the best for picking up.

I tried to pull her a few times and she kept saying “later.” I forgot what I said but at one point I basically give her an ultimatum and we left together around 6am or so (it was bright out at that point, hate that feeling).

All the while, I was lowkey texting the Korean girl, who at that point had left Valkyrie and was eating with her friends. I told her to meet me in front of my hotel.

I took the Filipina back and banged her. I think she was a hooker because she had a couple of trashy-looking tattoos, fucked ok, and was “from Boracay” (lot of girls there seemed to be hookers). She wanted to sleep over but I didn’t really want that because I don’t trust 3rd world girls (or most girls in general) because I think they will jack my shit.

The Korean girl tells me she’s in the lobby so I say some bullshit to the Filipina like “my sister is here and wants to talk to me” and tell her to go down with me but pretend she doesn’t know me. She sees through the bullshit and is sad and asks for taxi money to go home. I give her whatever change I have (320 peso or a little less than 7 USD). Not sure if that was p4p but I’ll chalk it up as a lay.

Anyway, the Korean girl is luckily not really looking at the elevator area and is sitting charging her phone. I say hi and we go up and bang at like 7:30 or 8am. Was absolutely wiped the next day.

Good job at post stalking. I'm sure you're proud of your online research skills. If you've never been ghosted after sex then you're banging low quality girls.
