You can now embed tweets on the forum. All you need is the URL of the tweet. Here's how to do it:

Only one note: if you use this feature in the Quick Reply box, it will initially show up as a white rectangle. If you reload the page, it then displays correctly.

I'm not seeing the tweets, but I imagine this has something to do with my browser settings as I often dont see certain embedded images as well, I am using Firefox. Does anyone have recommendation on what I need to tweak?

If you're on your mobile phone and try to embed a tweet, you'll paste a "mobile dot Twitter dot com" link, which will appear as a white rectangle.

Edit your link by removing the "mobile", and you'll fix the problem

I cant get it to work. I keep trying but I'm getting frustrated, and my example just shows up a a white box. I am half in the bag.

Can someone post exactly how its done from step one.

(No spaces between brackets.)

If you're on your phone, you need to remove the "mobile" word, from your cut-link.

Cool feature.

When people tweet controversial things, they often delete them soon after.

Best to take a screenshot and upload the screenshot if you think there is any chance of the tweet getting deleted!

Can you try on other browsers and devices to see where it specifically doesn't work?
