There is an interesting undercurrent of anger in American females toward men today and it rears its head when they've had a couple of sugary cocktails.

It doesn't happen often, but from time to time I get some physical aggression from girls. I am usually direct in my dance floor approaches, and they work sometimes, and when they don't usually girls just give a polite 'no' or walk away. That doesn't bother me, what does is when they physically aggress or try to step over me.

The one girl I spun around and tried to initiate a dance with showed me she didn't want to dance anymore by fisting my nuts. It wasn't a hard contact, but it wasn't soft either. She just walked away after that. Maybe I need to work on my dominance during approaches, or just accept that not all women out there are feminine like they should be.

I don't think it happens enough that I should worry about it though. If I encounter some overly masculine woman, its only about 1/10 of the approaches I make anyways.

Do you guys think responding with non confrontational aggressiveness could work? Ie. she pushes you away in an attempt to show she is better than you, as opposed to get the fuck away, and you just pick her up and spin her on the spot or show her something similar that puts dominance over her? Obviously if you picked a girl up that is not remotely interested you'd face a shit storm, but what if she is just putting up a massive bitch shield, and instead of other betas who back down you go head first and show her your confidence?

My ex gf slapped me early in our relationship and I took one of her hands and put it on the back while I raised my right hand saying "you do that one more time and I will smash your face" Never happened again.

Reading some of the guys here sucking it up and don`t do anything, I respect your self-control...my problem with that would be that I would store anger for a later situation that could make my fuse shorter. If needed I prefer restraining a woman (like with my ex) and then ask someone from her party to control her. That shows more of your intent, which I presume is not to fight anyone (going out should be fun right?) In a bar it can easily get out of control...I don`t want a beer bottle crushed over my face spending the rest of my life wearing a strap-on-nose and a glass-eye in a whorehouse in Farawayistan

Last weekend I was at a festival with a group of friends visiting from high school. We were all pretty wasted when one girl kept being a huge cunt to me (typical bar slut, has fucked my roommate and countless other guys I know). When I called her out she shoved me. I got in her face and cocked my hand back and she said, "You won't hit a girl." I replied, "I won't hit a girl, but I will hit a bitch." My friends pulled me back and got me out of there. My roommate said I was about 2 seconds away from knocking her teeth out.

I woke up with a hangover, bruised knuckles, and a closet door with a couple holes in it. Also got a few texts from guys trying to play the hero haha.

Once I was in a white college night club standing there minding my own business. Then out of the bathroom came a 19 years old hot blonde who I hadn't talked to before. She had steel heels and purposefully stepped on my feet and walked away laughing. She joined her boyfriend, and there was a guy standing next to her. She punched him in the face, bam, just like that. It wasn't a strong punch, but it was totally unprovoked. The guy stood there in amazement for a good 5 seconds, surprised and confused, then resumed what he was doing. I couldn't believe it, I thought I hadn't seen what I thought I'd seen, you know like when your brain filters out something that is too uncommon to be real. The guy had the same reaction : did this thing just happened right now? There was no social interaction leading up to that punch, no reason, no nothing.

I observed her and realized there is never any consequences to what she does. She is treated like a queen and consequently thinks she's one.

It's amazing the sense of entitlement and the liberties that a lot of women take this days without any fear of repercussion about their actions. They are so used to getting away with a lot of stuff that they have stopped using the little common sense they have to begin with. This is even more evident among the younger generations where non-accountability runs rampant.
Well, the gal on the article below throws a swing on a dude and gets one back. Needless to say, she has the worst out of it. I really hope she recovers and the happening serves to sensibilize people that is not worth putting yourself in certain situations no matter who is right or wrong.

I don't know how the person who is attacked it supposed to calculate exactly how hard they should hit their assailant in the 0.2 seconds reaction time. A reaction being a reaction, of course. Like you should do a risk assement between the time you are attacked and your response.

Used to hang out with this 95 pound chick in college who would constantly talk about how she could beat me and the other guys of our friend group in a fight because she was from Philly and thought she was tough. Yep. He wasn't in a self-defense situation, she wasn't coming at him with anything that would legally be considered potentially deadly force, and NJ doesn't have a "stand your ground" law anyway.

I'm no legal expert, but it looks like to me he's facing stern criminal charges no matter what - aggravated assault with serious bodily injury even if everything works out for the best, and manslaughter for the worst.

Sorry to say, I have little sympathy for him, and he deserves to do time regardless of the fact that she hit first. I'd take the plea bargain and hope to get out in couple years. His conscience, assuming he has one, will be punishment enough.

Something as simple as a ring on her hand could've ripped his face up; it doesn't take much force to do permanent damage when that force is concentrated in a tiny area. Self defense isn't only for when someone is using deadly force. There is no obligation to risk permanent injury by taking a hit without defending yourself.

It's irrelevant what you or I think, the only thing that's relevant is what the judicial system thinks. And I don't believe they'll agree.

Pro tip: if some guy pops you one in a bar, and you hit him back fracturing his skull, when it was clear to all observers that you did have the option to eject after he threw the first punch, well...that's not "self defense." That's called "fighting", which is illegal.

Maybe you'll be able to get off on a self-defense defense in that situation, and maybe not. But it will be primarily up to the lawyers, the judge, and the jury. You won't have a lot of say in the matter.

Going MMA takedown on drunk guys (or girls) who throw punches and then expecting the explanation "I was just defending myself" to let you off the hook is an extremely dangerous road to take. In most jurisdictions self-defense is pretty narrowly defined; I see that you have your own notion of what it is, but I'm just saying there is absolutely no guarantee the criminal justice folks are going to concur.
