I enjoy electronic music and prefer clubs that play music that I like. I do "house" dancing for this reason. Also you don't need a partner to do it, so I don't have to stand around with my dick in my hand if I don't have a dancing partner. I've taken salsa classes but I found it boring and pointless since I never go to Salsa clubs. Maybe that'll change someday if I go to Latin America.. I don't really know any partner dances but it's something I need to learn. I'd say just learn whatever type of dance makes sense for the types of clubs you enjoy- if you like hip hop music then learn hip hop dancing, if you like electronic music learn house dancing, if you like Latin music learn salsa. As Suits mentioned above, Swing might be good, but I cannot comment on that.

IMO dancing works best if you're genuinely having fun while doing it. Personally I don't do it specifically to get laid. Sometimes I catch myself dancing in a way trying to impress people, usually I look like a tool and don't feel entirely comfortable when doing this. This probably sounds like pretty shitty advice, but the most important thing is to have fun doing it.

Vote goes to salsa dancing, can do really well in America at least (Colombia might be another story) if you are good at it since most guys are not.

I go to Salsa clubs, although I prefer House and Electro music much more. What exactly is House dancing, can you post an example?
