Harry Reid whining that the FBI isn't smearing Donald Trump at the same time it's smearing Ill Hill:

http://www.news.com.au/world/senator-har...ca329fb15e

Quote:THE FBI has been accused of having a “double standard” in releasing potentially damaging material about Hillary Clinton while sitting on “explosive information” about Donald Trump.

US Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid wrote to FBI director James Comey about his decision on Friday to publicise the agency’s discovery of new emails related to Hillary Clinton’s private server.

“The double standard established by your actions is clear,” he wrote in the letter.
“In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and co-ordination between Donald Trump, his top advisers, and the Russian government — a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity.

“The public has a right to know this information. I wrote to you months ago calling for this information to be released to the public.

“There is no danger to American interests from releasing it. And yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.

“By contrast, as soon as you came into possession of the slightest innuendo related to Secretary Clinton, you rushed to publicise it in the most negative light possible.”

Still hitting the old Red card again. That all they got?

Sounds like Harry Reid thinks the Russians and FBI are colliding to RIG THE ELECTION!

Scott Adams weighs in on what's on Comey's mind:

Quote:As my regular readers know, the Persuasion Filter is related to the idea that the human brain never evolved to accurately comprehend reality. In order for us to be here today, our predecessors only needed to survive and procreate. They had no need to understand reality at any basic level. And we have no such need either. That’s why you might believe you are reincarnated from a monk and I might believe my prophet flew to heaven on a winged horse but we can both get through the day just fine. Many different interpretations of reality are good enough for survival. I like to describe reality as each person living their own movie, which works well unless our script’s conflict. When that happens, one of us goes into cognitive dissonance and rewrites our past to make the movies consistent.

That’s how I see the world.

Last year in this blog I suggested that the most productive and predictive way to view reality is through what I call the Persuasion Filter. That’s what I have been using to make spooky-good predictions about the election so far. And that’s what I’ll use today to give you an alternate movie about James Comey. Compare it to the movie you are running in your head and see which one better predicts the future.

The base assumption of the Persuasion Filter is that people are irrational 90% of the time and only rarely – when no emotions are involved – truly rational. This is the reverse of the common filter for reality, in which people are assumed to be rational 90% of the time and a bit crazy 10% of the time. That’s some background for context.

Back to Comey.

I’m hearing several interpretations for these two observations:

1. Comey seemed pro-Clinton when he dropped the initial email case.

2. Comey seems anti-Clinton this week because he announced a new round of investigations right before the election.

How can both behaviors be explained? Or, as I like to ask, which movie does the best job of explaining our observations and also predicting the future?

Some say Comey is a political pawn in a rigged system. By that movie script we can explain why he dropped the initial email case. But we can’t explain why he’s acting against Clinton’s interests now. What changed?

Well, some say Comey had to reopen the case against Clinton after discovering the Weiner laptop emails. If he failed to act, there might be a revolt at the FBI and maybe a whistleblower would come forward. But that leaves unexplained why Comey detailed to Congress how Clinton appeared to be guilty of crimes at the same time he said the FBI was dropping the case. If Comey had been protecting Clinton on the first round, he would have softened his description of her misdeeds, wouldn’t he? But he didn’t seem to hold back anything.

And none of those hypotheses explain why the people who know Comey have high regard for his integrity. Comey also has the security of a 10-year appointment as Director, so he has a low chance of getting fired or politically influenced. That’s exactly why the job has a 10-year term. Given what we know of Comey before any of the Clinton emails, any movie that casts Comey as an ass-covering weasel is probably making a casting mistake.

So allow me to offer an interpretation of events that casts Comey as more of a patriot and hero than an ass-covering weasel. Compare my interpretation with whatever movie you have in your head and see which one works best for explaining and predicting.

My movie says Comey had good evidence against Clinton during the initial investigation but made a judgement call to leave the decision to the American public. For reasons of conscience, and acting as a patriot, Comey explained in clear language to the public exactly what evidence the FBI found against Clinton. The evidence looked daming because it was. Under this interpretation, Comey took a bullet to his reputation for the sake of the Republic. He didn’t want the FBI to steal this important decision away from the people, but at the same time he couldn’t let the people decide blind. So he divulged the evidence and stepped away, like the action hero who doesn’t look back at the explosion.

In the second act of this movie, Comey learns that the Weiner laptop had emails that were so damning it would be a crime against the public to allow them to vote without first seeing a big red flag. And a flag was the best he could do because it was too early in the investigation to leak out bits and pieces of the evidence. That would violate Clinton’s rights.

But Comey couldn’t easily raise a red flag to warn the public because it was against FBI policy to announce a criminal investigation about a candidate so close to election day. So Comey had a choice of either taking another bullet for the Republic or screwing the very country that he has spent his career protecting.

In this movie, Comey did the hero thing. He alerted the public to the fact that the FBI found DISQUALIFYING information on the Weiner laptop. And he took a second bullet to his reputation.

How do I know the new emails are that bad?

I start by assuming Comey is the same man now as the one who was carefully vetted before being hired to protect the integrity of one of our most important institutions. And even Comey’s critics concede he’s smart.

So…

The way you know the new emails are disqualifying for Clinton is because otherwise our hero would have privately informed Congress and honored the tradition of not influencing elections. Comey is smart enough to know his options. And unless he suddenly turned rotten at his current age, he’s got the character to jump in front of a second bullet for the Republic.

According to this movie, no matter who gets elected, we’ll eventually learn of something disqualifying in the Weiner emails.

And we can’t say we weren’t warned. Comey took two bullets to do it.

So compare this movie to your own movie and see which one does the best job of explaining the observed facts. And when we find out what is in the Weiner laptop emails, compare that news to my prediction that the information is disqualifying.

The Persuasion Filter says there is no prefered reality. We all see our own movies. In my movie, Comey’s has a consistent personality from start to finish. He starts out his career as a smart, competent patriot and he later proves it by taking two bullets for the Republic. If your movie script has Comey suddenly changing his basic character for this election season, don’t expect an Oscar.

I appreciate Adams' take, but I'd still call Comey an ass-covering weasel. On refusing to prosecute Clinton, Comey did what every referee in a tight championship game does: step back and "let the players play." He didn't want to get tagged with the label of the guy who took out the first woman president, so he called her extremely careless and left it to the American people to decide. His latest message to Congress is worded in an even more ass-covering fashion. I think Adams has forgotten how the bureuacracies he used to be in work.

And frankly the only game in town now is predicting which FBI agent leaks elements of Clinton's e-mails. Or briefs someone off the record.

Former Clinton pollster Doug Schoen has retracted his endorsement of Hillary on FNC, Sunday. He fears a constitutional crisis if she is elected. He also declines to endorse Trump.

As I've predicted, as the enormity of the FBI investigation gains traction and people wake up about it, expect more to quiet their enthusiasm for voting at all, especially for Hillary, but even going to not showing up to vote at all.

This trend will take time to grow, but it is extremely bullish for a Trump victory! And there is time for doubts to deepen and spread widely. Thankfully.

INTERVIEW EXCERPT:
Quote:Shoen, “”I’ve been a supporter of Secretary Clinton.”

Host Harris Faulkner, “We all know, yeah!”

Schoen, “You do know. But, and the but is a big deal, at least to me. Given that this investigation is gonna go on for many months after the election.”

Faulkner, “No matter who wins.”

Schoen, “No matter who wins. But if the secretary of State (Clinton) wins we will have a president under criminal investigation with Huma Abedin under investigation, the secretary of State–the president-elect–should she win under investigation. Harris, under these circumstances I am actively reassessing my support. I’m not a Trump…”

Faulkner, “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. You’re not gonna vote for Hillary Clinton?”

Schoen, “Harris, I’m deeply concerned that we will have a constitutional crisis if she’s elected. I want to learn more this week see what we see. But as of today I am not a supporter of the secretary of State for the next…”

Faulkner, speaks over Schoen, “How long have you known the Clintons, sir?”

Schoen, “I’ve known the Clintons since 1994.”

Small addendum by way of speculation on Comey's motives: according to the "close friend" source that is the basis for the "Half the FBI threatened to resign" story from the Daily Mail, Comey is a Catholic who supposedly attends Mass every week.

I doubt his devotion, but let's remember between Comey's declining to prosecute and his indication the investigation is back on, the Podesta e-mails indicated that the DNC regarded the Catholic church structure with contempt and were out to create a "Catholic Spring". One wonders if that was one of the straws on the camel's back, although we can be pretty certain it wasn't the last one.

When you think about it, it's natural that Ill Hill and the rest of the Democrats are panicking about Russian influence, seeing as their team was more or less responsible for the infiltration of Communist agents into the US over the course of the fifties and sixties. They know what the Russian Bear is capable of (lol)!

This is what patriot and NSA legend Bill Binney had to say on the matter:

"They must have something significant for the FBI to reopen the investigation. Plus I think [FBI Director] Comey had to inform congress of his incomplete testimony to them or else he could be charged with perjury to congress and impeached."

"Any way you look at it, FBI has a black black eye over this. I have been saying for a long time that when you couple secret intelligence agencies with the police, you get a secret police. In German, that’s a GESTAPO (meaning “State Secret Police”). Plus, when you add to that what the DOJ has been doing relative to this, you have a Department of “Just Us.” Not good for the citizens of this or any other country."

I've come across some Tweets from a former US Consular official stationed in Canada. He claims to have "never been wrong" in his posts. (Maybe.) Presumably, he has friends in the State Department.

Here's a collection of the most relevant of his weekend Tweets:

Quote:--DATELINE, Saturday the 29th: An FBI agent “has evidence that Huma Adebin has been spying for Saudi Arabia and passing DOS document to them.”

-Obama cancels all campaign appearances by his wife and himself.

DJ Lewis [email protected] Oct 29
If voters elect Hillary, get ready for President Kaine. I am privy to information from old work friends that HRC will be indicted early 2017 {Emphasis added}

--DATELINE, Sunday the 30th:

DJ Lewis [email protected]
At 10.00AM EST a letter sent to SD by FBI to revoke Passport of Huma Abdin.

And late Sunday night, CNN adds that the FBI has known about these emails for weeks:

Updated 11:41 PM ET, Sun October 30, 2016
(CNN) The FBI stumbled upon a trove of emails from one of Hillary Clinton's top aides weeks ago {Emphasis added}, law enforcement officials told CNN Sunday.

But FBI Director James Comey didn't disclose the discovery until Friday, raising questions about why the information was kept under wraps and then released only days before the election.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/30/politics/c...l?adkey=bn

Consistent with this, Fox News is reporting that Huma Adbedin has "lawyered up."

Rumor is now that NYPD is continuing its investigation into Weiner's sex crimes and that his emails show Hillary was on Jeffrey Epstein's Lolita Express partaking in underage girls.

If this is true, and that's a big if, there is finally a scandal that will break Hillary's core of white women and minority voters. While most of her women voters don't care about her corruption, finding out that she's a pedophile (the real kind - Epstein didn't go for 16 yr olds) is going to be too much to stomach. I doubt they'll vote trump, but if they go 3rd party or stay home that should be enough to shatter her counts.

I have a pretty low opinion of people, but even I would never have thought of Hillary as a pedo. Really makes me wonder if those crazed conspiracy theory ala lizard people and bohemian grove guys were onto something.

You won't see it until after the election.

Seriously, unless there's a patriot in the NYPD or FBI with a death wish or a burning desire to move in next to Manning, those e-mails are going to be the tightest-controlled asset in law enforcement history and remain unseen until either Trump or Clinton is in office.

On the other hand, if the glorious boys in /pol/ start getting creative with document creation, it might not matter. Needless to say, if anything verifiably incriminating is leaked from the investigation, it has to be game over.

Not quite. We discussed this back in the thread a while back. We knew Preet Bharara, the Attorney for the DOJ, was investigating that with the FBI.

Here is another article from yesterday re-confirming those details.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/30/former...ion-video/

Quote:In August, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Richard Pollock reported that Preet Bharara, the U.S. attorney for Southern District of New York, was investigating the Clinton Foundation in coordination with the FBI

That seems to contradict the Wall Street Journal article a little bit. The WSJ said that McCabe and Comey made NY's field office run point and Little Rock's office assist, and shut out the others.

http://www.wsj.com/articles/laptop-may-i...1477854957

Quote:In February, FBI officials made a presentation to the Justice Department, according to these people. By all accounts, the meeting didn’t go well.

Some said that is because the FBI didn’t present compelling evidence to justify more aggressive pursuit of the Clinton Foundation, and that the career anticorruption prosecutors in the room simply believed it wasn’t a very strong case. Others said that from the start, the Justice Department officials were stern, icy and dismissive of the case.

“That was one of the weirdest meetings I’ve ever been to,” one participant told others afterward, according to people familiar with the matter.

Anticorruption prosecutors at the Justice Department told the FBI at the meeting they wouldn’t authorize more aggressive investigative techniques, such as subpoenas, formal witness interviews, or grand-jury activity. But the FBI officials believed they were well within their authority to pursue the leads and methods already under way, these people said.

Quote:According to a person familiar with the probes, on Aug. 12, a senior Justice Department official called Mr. McCabe to voice his displeasure at finding that New York FBI agents were still openly pursuing the Clinton Foundation probe during the election season. Mr. McCabe said agents still had the authority to pursue the issue as long as they didn’t use overt methods requiring Justice Department approvals.

The Justice Department official was “very pissed off,” according to one person close to Mr. McCabe, and pressed him to explain why the FBI was still chasing a matter the department considered dormant.
Others said the Justice Department was simply trying to make sure FBI agents were following longstanding policy not to make overt investigative moves that could be seen as trying to influence an election. Those rules discourage investigators from making any such moves before a primary or general election, and, at a minimum, checking with anticorruption prosecutors before doing so.

“Are you telling me that I need to shut down a validly predicated investigation?” Mr. McCabe asked, according to people familiar with the conversation. After a pause, the official replied, “Of course not,” these people said.

For Mr. McCabe’s defenders, the exchange showed how he was stuck between an FBI office eager to pour more resources into a case and Justice Department prosecutors who didn’t think much of the case, one person said. Those people said that following the call, Mr. McCabe reiterated past instructions to FBI agents that they were to keep pursuing the work within the authority they had.

I think I believe what the WSJ reporter has written, the most between the two. Not so much because his article is badass and much better written, but because it makes alot more sense in conjunction with other reports.

It's possible Preet is lightly assisting the 3 or so agents that are still allowed to investigate the Clinton Foundation, just incase they find something super bad on the Clinton Foundation, he would honor setting up a grand jury or things of that sort. Outside of that, I bet he isn't actively investigating the CF at all. It's possible he is running a secret task force and they are gunning for the CF, but there is no evidence or even hearsay that supports that right now.

I also want to find more information about the NYPD. If that is true that they found the emails on the computer and contacted the NYC FBI office, that is interesting. Local beat cops cannot keep secrets. They would have spilled the beans eventually, if the FBI never showed interest. Worse case, one of them could have leaked it all out. Now that would have been ultra chaotic. Even Wikileaks does not have anything that strong on anyone. This 650K worth of stuff has to be insurance files, and no one keeps shit like that in those circles, unless it is bad. All the rumors say it is pretty bad stuff. Anyone in Comey's shoes knows they cannot keep it out of the news and underwraps, so he had no choice.

The DailyMail article, while sounding alot more like gossip, said agents were quitting left and right before this revelation and Comey was depressed.

Which leads me to something I gave alot of thought to over the weekend.

1. The FBI and the DOJ are obviously fighting each other. (FOX news just dropped this story this morning and it backs up my theory http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/...ation.html)

2. Clinton obviously hit the threshold for grossly negligent, but considering who she is, that may not be enough for the DOJ to prosecute correctly, and Comey knew this.

3. Some of the field agents did a terrible job on the interviews, that it would not have been of any use, even if the DOJ was not tossing immunity to everyone.

4. The DOJ gave out too many immunity deals that tied the agent's hands, and are extremely partisan.

5. That meeting they had in Feb. shows that the DOJ would only accept a recommendation for a charge or even a grand jury indictment, for slam dunk evidence. Circumstantial evidence isn't good enough to them.

6. The DOJ and Comey/McCabe (not the field agents), fully understand that the scope and the discovery phase of anything would have had to include Obama at some level. That makes prosecution not only harder, but uncharted territory for our current generation at least. I can see legit factors that they do not know how to proceed with something like this. None of them want to damage their boss either and if you believe the DailyMail article, he has told them such. He also reportedly said Comey was his biggest mistake of his presidency. Ouch!

Also, if you guys have not, you should read the entire WSJ article. It's old school good.

He still did not say anything or allude to Weiner and Epstein. He was talking about Bill and Epstein. He could not have predicted this because the agents themselves found out about Weiner back in early October.

Trump's prediction about Weiner doesn't sit well with me. That is TOO good to have been a coincidence. That prediction was better than Samseau, Me, Roosh, and Nostradamus combined.

When he said Weiner is a bad guy, he really harped on that with a gusto that seems to scream, "I know something really fucking dark about that guy, just take my word for it folks!"

The problem with that, is that he used to be friends with that Epstein guy too and it is well known. I'm going to pray (seriously) that there is nothing in there that implicates him too. One cannot hang out with pigs and not get muddy. That applies to Trump. He was friends with everyone and sometimes that is not good practice. They could have stuff in there about him on a trip but not proof he fucked any of the girls, and that will still pull down his momentum during his first term.

I see the general response to these hillary pedo rumors is disbelief.

I've thought about it though and the rumors would make some sense given:

- You believe that bill has traveled on the lolita express.
- Hillary has been largely complicit in bill's sexual deviancy over the years.
- Hillary and bill have stayed together through all the scandal.
- There is an old video out that has been posted in this thread where a woman makes claims of hillary engaging in said behavior

I feel like it almost makes more sense to believe that hillary is an active participant in the same deviant sexual behavior that bill engages in than to believe bill is the freak and hill is merely complicit.

If history is anything to go by, the FBI will fight on regardless against any enemy surrounding them and will not stop till they're in prison or buried. They slipped up, shit happens. The important thing is they're onto something big that involves a lot of powerful people.

These people are not your average criminal involved in typical criminality so I am not surprised they are being tight lipped. This makes the criminals edgy and nervous.

Nothing looks bad like the FBI raiding your offices and carting away evidence by the truck load. Right now they're acquiring targets and moving to keep them in the US. No good comes out of a suspect fleeing to a country with no extradition pact.

Imagine some major Washington power player in handcuffs. Those optics will make SHTF immediately.

The FBI are not Democrats and this isn't a movie. We will see action when it comes.

AG Lynch folded, the Court warrant was issued. Everything looks legal, as of now. The WSJ reports that the trove of Wiener-Huma Emails on a shared laptop amounts to 650,000!

Allegedly, the folder they are contained in was labeled "Life Insurance!" In the words of a Trump supporting lawyer in Nebraska, Hillary is FINISHED!

Huma will shortly be fired, and the pair will sell Hillary down the river. Ergo, my acclamation thesis remains alive, as justified by today's news.

Here is lawyer "Cornhead's" Sunday night post [8:53PM]:

Quote:Warrant now issued.

The computer was jointly owned by spouses Weiner and Abedin. Search was proper. They will soon be divorced. Spousal privilege will not apply.

The file was labeled “Life insurance.” Huma kept all of these emails to blackmail Bill, Hillary, Podesta, Mills et alia, if necessary. She knew she was swimming with sharks.

Hillary fires her soon.

Huma is looking at perjury and obstruction of justice. She will cut a deal to rat them all out. She will save herself. The best of it is that Trump’s AG will prosecute or appoint special prosecutor.

Today was the tipping point. Hillary’s finished.

A vote for her now means a constitutional crisis.

Obama needs to say he won’t pardon Hillary. Hillary needs to – but won’t say – that she won’t pardon herself. Too much of an admission.

Soon - this week - Trump will be demanding that Hillary say "I will not pardon myself!" (LOL! Have I ever imagined that such words would ever be uttered in a Presidential campaign before? Nope.)

Methinks this info is newsworthy enough, it needs elevating into a post by itself; but given Roosh's move closing my original thread, I'll leave doing so to someone else.

Hallelujah! REJOICE! TRUMP WILL BE ELECTED PRESIDENT!

Relax and respect Roosh's decision. You thread was unnecessary and he made the correct call. We have too much bleedover between the Trump Thread and the Hillary Thread right now. It's better we keep it all inside these two threads for the time being.

If Julian or some other hacker drops 33K emails, we might need a separate thread to dig in those, but since Wikileaks and Julian are doing small leaks daily, we might as well just keep it all in the Hillary thread for the time being. If Huma gets arrested, we probably will make a new one for that, but that could honestly stay in this thread too, depending upon the amount of information they release on the arrest date.

If thread creation confuses you, defer to the senior members and just wait for one of us to take care of it. If we do not get it right and Roosh makes an executive decision, it's not a big deal. Just go with the flow.

Clinton really is cartoonishly corrupt. If she does loose to Trump it will be a massive failure of the highest order. Demographic voter patterns show that nearly all women and nearly all non whites would vote democrat. Hence I thought Trump had no realistic chance of victory, until now.
