I don't think Tapper was butthurt. That tweet read to me as him secretly being happy that he was in their thoughts at all, having a laugh about it as though it was a true buddy calling him a dick to reframe it.

How do we know they are buddies? Looked passive aggressive to me. Someone in his position probably should not have pointed that out. He is supposed to be on their side and pretty much pretend the leaks did not happen. To me that is either tone deaf or butthurt. It's one or the other. If they are best buds 4ever, then obviously not.

Twitter is no different than email. You cannot inject tone into them very well. If you know it will not be obvious better to not say anything at all.

Those speeches are pretty damn candid. That's interesting what certain people in the elite have access to. Even if I had stayed in politics, I doubt I would have gotten access to candid talk like that by this age that I am. Inside the beltway gossip is one thing, I used to get that all day, but what she told them was a bit much.
